23 years ago, 6th grade student Junichi Tobina (Ryoma Takeuchi) buried a gun used in a crime under a cherry tree with three close classmates, including Makiko Iwamoto (Mao Inoue). That was their secret they could not share with anyone. After that, they eventually grew apart and went their own ways. Now, Junichi Tobina works as a detective. He gets transferred to the police station in his hometown. He takes on a murder case. Junichi Tobina soon reunites with his first love Makiko Iwamoto (Mao Inoue) as a detective and she is the suspect of the murder case he is investigating. Through the investigation, Junichi Tobina discovers the weapon used in the current murder case is the gun that they buried 23 years ago and he reunites with his former friends who has shared the secret.
