In 1970, a secret operation takes place to land a hijacked plane. Taking part in the operation is a problem solver (Sul Kyung-Gu), who appears when he is needed and solves cases. His identity is unknown. Also taking part in the operation is an Air Force First Lieutenant (Hong Kyung) and the head of the KCIA (Ryoo Seung-Bum), who commands the secret operation.

Pat Magee Feb 21 2026 11:15 am Hello! I really liked Good News for its historical aspect and satirical humor. Being a K-Drama fan that has watched many Korean series and films on Netflix. Also, a review in the New York Times explained the concept from a true story that happened in 1970. I don't know how to transfer the jpg. to this screen.

keggy feuger Oct 20 2025 6:58 pm There's no reason for this so called movie to be 2 hours long. Watching Airplane or Airport 77 movie is better off. The 'comedy' was stale and the plot is too long. Was literally only watching Kim Sung Oh's scenes just to get through it. That young guy Seo Go-Myung was a prick not willing to shake the American soldier's hand.

Meyrin Oct 19 2025 5:10 pm @haz Aett - the whole movie is political, and yup, indeed we just saw, for me, the two unsung heroes' perspectives (Go-Myung and Nobody) bittersweet for me though because Go-Myung really wanted that prestige and acknowledgment but turned into "Nobody" instead
