Park Sung-A (Cho Yi-Hyun) is a high school student, but, at night, she is a shaman named Fairy Cheonji. When she works as a shaman, she covers her face partially to hide her identity. She is famous as Fairy Cheonji and she is busy working with her clients who come to ask about their future, fortune, illnesses, and other things. One night, Bae Gyeon-Woo (Choo Young-Woo) and his mother come to visit Fairy Cheonji. Park Sung-A has a crush on him at first sight, but she sees that he is destined to die soon. The next day, Bae Gyeon-Woo appears in front of her as a new transfer student in her class. She decides to save him from his destiny.

Haudy Mar 21 2026 9:45 am Choo Ja-yun as Yeomhwa is a great pull, she really portrays all the emotions and her overall screentime is great, her cries, her anger and screams makes my skin crawl, dare to say shes the best actor in this series, when she first appeared on screen I knew this movie was going to be great.

Peter M Jan 25 2026 7:21 pm The performances of Cho Yi-Hyun and Choo Young-Woo were compelling. Their chemistry was excellent. This drama incorporated comedy, teen and youth romance themes and supernaturalism well. The plot was clear in some parts, however. For instance, in the last episode's scene in which Park Sung-A and Bae Gyeon-Woo were talking in a dream was confusing. Gyeon-Woo claim that she wasn't in his dream bur rather the other wag around made little sense. Also, the motivations and relevance of Yeom Hwa weren't clearly established. Nevertheless, I found this series extremely enjoyable. It deserved a higher TV ratings.

irish Nov 17 2025 3:54 pm The first half of the drama was so good, until the Bongsu plot happened. Choo Youngwoo did very well portraying Bongsu, but it felt so dragged out. I thought that storyline was only going to last for one or two episodes but it went on until the last episode. That’s when it started to fall apart. I feel like Seong-ah and Gyeonwoo didn’t get enough time to express their love for each other without being interrupted by Bongsu. And I don’t get Yeomhwa’s character at all? seriously, what did she contribute to the series?

They really wasted the drama’s potential. I only liked the first half. I love Cho Yihyun she’s very cute! I also wish we had seen more of Seong ah’s friendship with Doyeon ^^

Buy yep to each their own. It was a blend of puppy love (high school) and real life issues that was spiced with magic and yesss the actors were amazing.

Could the last 2 episodes be better? Yes! But it's absolutely a movie worth watching.

It pulls you in.

Eeng Aug 22 2025 3:10 pm So annoying! I really thought it was going to be good, but they didn’t even explain what was happening. It was such a mess, nothing made sense at all. Good thing it still ended happily. Honestly though, there was no need for anyone to die—that was just way too much.

From all the K-dramas I’ve watched, I realized you really have to check who the writer and director are, because that’s what determines if the show’s actually worth it.

For those who haven’t watched it yet, just go see it yourselves so we’re all fair—and so you can waste your time too. Hahaha.

player 457 Aug 04 2025 12:45 pm At first if you based on title it looks like a typical highschool romance but if you watch it there's an energy that pulls you and you can never back out like they put spell on you. I love how they just don't focus on cheesy romance the story is moving and that's so adorable.

Seong-a, Gyeonu and Jiho. Sometimes they'll make you think are they trio of friends, in love triangle or in a mission. But either way they're all remarkable, they left a footprint in kdrama world. The actors, I'm speechless you won't feel like you're watching an actor here they make you feel that you're inside this story.

I love the pacing, there's something else about this kdrama.

I'm still mad that they made it 12 episodes instead of 16 when this drama has a big potential. They made a good casting for this drama! The actors are all great, esp the leads. So good in dual roles!! And like Youngwoo said, I want to see them again in another drama. His chemistry wwith Yihyun is on top!

And it so funny when the first time Seong-A found "a switch button" to "turning off/on) Bong-Su in Gyeon-U's body. Lolllll!!! That's really an absurd comedy! Meanwhile, I never thought Cho Yi Hyun could nailed a dual role too, but she did it! Welldone!! And welldone to other cast too because they really had a great chemistry, especially our sad boy Ji Ho (Cha Kang-Yoon), our witty Flower Master (Yoon Byung-Hee), our ex-bad boy Jin Ung (Kim Seong-Jeong) and our General Dongcheon!!!

However I wonder why there seems so many loop holes in the story and why it feels fast forwarded in the last six episodes, but then I find that this drama should be a 16-episodes instead of 12. Too bad, because we should have 4 more episodes to explain the mentioned "holes" in the story, and I wish we will have a "bonus" side-story to explain these holes maybe? >v<

Anyway it's an entertaining drama! Welldone!

The story is interesting but have many hole in it! For the last two episodes, I got confused which one was Bong Su and which one was Gyeon Woo. I am also wondering why did Gyeon Woo always have bad lucks? Why did they call evil spirit while it was a lonely young soldier ghost? and why there was no punishment for Yeom Hwa? she should be the one who deserved to die. A mixed feeling for me for this drama.

Ddeonu Jul 30 2025 6:28 am Ahh, I just finished watching this. The minutes leading up to the ending felt so sweet. I really liked this drama, from beginning to end it wasn't boring at all. Their chemistry was also great. And to be honest, I preferred Gyeo-nu when she was possessed by Bong-su because the bad boy looked so sexy, hehe.. but I still liked both of them.

All the actors in this drama played their characters very well. This drama is highly recommended to watch, 9/10.

It was such a shame to hear that this was meant to have 16 eps but it got cut down to 12 due to thinking it wouldnt get this big :'(.. if we had those 4 more eps i guess the last 2 eps would be less confusing to some viewers and we could have gotten even more seonga and gyeonu scenes at the end ahhh my heart..

But Still! everyone who worked on this piece of art of a series, to the directors, writers, to the filming crew, to the stylists and to the actors and actresses, they all made such a masterpiece. dare i say best drama of 2025... (to me)

i also want to say some of the shots in this drama are just bliss.. so stunning... <3333

Fayerie Jul 28 2025 7:50 pm It started good but the story became messed up. Especially in episode 11. What's happening??? What happened when Seong A sprinkled something to them when they kissed? She just disappeared like that? When they're having a date, why did he became Gyeon Woo himself again? I thought Bong Su already took over the body and it's hard to bring Gyeon Woo back again. And Yeomhwa??? Also the body of Seong A with a different soul?

Also, in the previous episodes, why was Bong Su or the young soldier became a very notorious evil spirit that even a lot of shamans tried to avoid because they said it's very powerful. How come?? But when he did possess Gyeon Woo's body, it didn't even do anything that bad, he just wanted to live. How come they said he's a very dangerous and powerful spirit? I just saw a young soldier who died early while still having an unfinished business.

Seriously, what's with this story?? I really enjoyed the first few episodes, what a shame.

magdalena Jul 28 2025 1:19 pm What was this horrendous ep 11?!!! The plot is all over the place, what exactly did Seong A do to be trapped in the same body with Bong su? The time leap was also awful, first she didn't finish highschool (so 1 year) then another 2 years of hiding? What the ....? And Yeomhwa is suddenly trying to save the day? Also, it kinda seemed like they got over General Dongcheon's death too quickly, didn't they? Overall, this episode was all over the place. The only cute thing was Ji ho settling in with Gyeon U and cooking for him (yes, this was funny and touching at the same time, because they kept in touch after highschool). The plot took a weird turn after ep 10, it's a little disappointing because I love the actors.

Had she tried binding her kids soul to him? Does she have some relation to his family? She doesn't seem to know Beomsu past either and keeps making him more evil than he is, she in fact is the real evil.

What started as a race to save Gyeon-oo from a curse and the evil Shaman has now turned into a confusing mess about Bongsu, the evil spirit. It was interesting at first, but now it's dragging. With only three episodes left, nothing is moving forward. Gyeon-oo is suffering the most, but people are still romanticizing Bongsu just because he listens to Seong-a or has a sad past. That doesn’t change the fact that he’s killed so many people and took over someone’s body for fun.

The Ahjumma Shaman is also useless—she just screams and does nothing to stop her daughter or help Gyeon-oo. Seong-a is being kept in the dark, and the romantic moments we were waiting for between the leads never came. This track needs to end. Let Bongsu leave Gyeon-oo’s body and let the story find a proper, satisfying end.

Nute Jul 22 2025 5:13 am i really love bongsu, he deserves better but my heart goes out to gyeonu, he doesn't owe him anything. he doesn't owe him the teenage years that bongsu lost. gyeun-u suffered a lot in his whole life his own family live him after his grandma now he is all alone and when it's time for him to be happy he's still suffering. it's sad just to think that Bongsu is dead and now Gyeonu is the one who's getting his teenage years get stolen. even after all this people are saying they love Bongsu more than Gyeonu it's really sadly awful. need both of them to have happy ending, but not more than Gyeonu, he deserves the world!

Dr Colon Jul 17 2025 1:02 pm Lyra and Bae, yes if they decide to keep Bongsu instead of character grow for Gyeonwoo, everything Sung A did for keep Gyeonwoo alive is wasted. I understand why viewers love Bongsu, because he's more bubbly, cool and lots of interaction with other while Gyeonwoo lead a boring, dull life. But of course who in the world will live positive and brightly if their whole life is full with curse, and misfortune. Gyeonwoo must live and lead a happy life.

Lyra Jul 17 2025 4:10 am I love Bong-su’s vibe and all, but if Gyeon-woo doesn’t survive, it would defeat the whole point of the story. Seong-ha’s journey centers around saving Gyeon-woo—her first love. If she fails, it would make her arc deeply tragic, especially after everything he’s fought through just to live. I really hope Gyeon-woo survives, not just physically, but emotionally too—learning to fight back and grow into someone as strong and outgoing as Bong-su.

If they wanted Seong-A to end up with BongSu (so called evil spirit with kind heart deep inside, repenting for love), shouldn't they have introduced his character earlier on? And smells like The Haunted Palace's plot as well - female shaman, deity entering a human body yadayada. Thought this drama had a lot of potential in the beginning, and i liked that JiHo was a friend and not part of a love triangle -- and i thought, wow finally kdrama that doesn't resort to cliches. And yet, they decided to kowtow to another cliche and be predictable.

He was trained by YeonHwa and that's why he became an evil spirit. But if they decide to keep Bongsu alive in Gyeonwoo, all the time that SungA tried hardly to save Gyeonwoo will become useless. It's unfair for Gyeonwoo and SungA. They're each other's first love and they should be the real end game. Gyeonwoo have been through a lot in his whole life. SungA is the one who changed his monochrome life into colorful and vivid life. That's why I'm rooting for SungA's Gyeonwoo saving plan and that's why I'm still at the Gyeonwoo team.

I love how easy it is to watch. The plot is serious but gosh with the right dose of love and comic relief that it just feels like your favourite blanket. It's warm. It's interesting.

I'm looking forward to the remaining episodes but please like @Shai said, don't give us a K-Trauma ending.

He continuously portrayed Bae Gyeon Woo Character, the soft-hearted boy with childhood trauma and now his character suddenly changed into possessed gyeonwoo - the bad evil spirit!? He is a great actor with wonderful acting skills. I'm dying to watch next episode! Monday Monday Come Come ~

I want to see if this would have a happy ending first. Coz I have this feeling that she's gonna die from saving him from his fate. Yknow, an eye for an eye. Instead of him dying, it's gonna be her. And I don't want seeing another series with sad ending again lol

But now I have to say that the third and fourth episodes made me Fall In Love with this series! The chemistry between the main characters was just amazing! And me too guys, I can't wait for the next episodes tooಥ‿ಥ P.S.: I fell in love with that little dog's spirit; I wish I could hug it!
