Yu Mi-Ji (Park Bo-Young) and Yu Mi-Rae (Park Bo-Young) are identical twin sisters, but they are different in everything except for their appearance. Younger sister Yu Mi-Ji ended her short heyday as a promising track and field athlete and she now lives a freewheeling life. Older sister Yu Mi-Rae is a perfectionist. She has been on an elite path since her school days. She currently works at a government owned company. For some reason, Yu Mi-Ji and Yu Mi-Rae begin to tell audacious lies about exchanging their lives. They then swap their lives.

Meanwhile, Lee Ho-Su (Jin Young) is a lawyer and works for a large law firm. He is good looking and carries a carefree attitude, but he has been working extremely hard to have a normal life. Something happened in his past and that changed his life. He has an unexpected encounter with Yu Mi-Ji and Yu Mi-Rae. This leads to Yu Mi-Ji, Yu Mi-Rae and Lee Ho-Su finding their real selves.

Eddie Apr 04 2026 7:39 pm This is the most beautiful drama I have seen this year. It did trigger reflections and brought me into deep places in diverse moments.

Kudos to Park Bo-young, Kim Sun-Young and Jang Young-Nam for such an excellent performance. And, of course, the other actors did justice to their roles, I just connected with these three more.

Korean drama never ceases to bless me with richness, thought and adventure. And I fear this experience won't be complete until I spend some time in that country and make at least one good Korean friend, the Lord willing.

Until then, I'll keep watching, keep learning and waiting patiently for my moment.

irish Feb 13 2026 2:58 pm What a beautiful and well-written drama! Park Boyoung never fails to bring every character to life, esp while playing twins! I love how they both portrayed their personal struggles. At first i thought there would be no chemistry between park boyoung and jinyoung because of their age gap but thankfully PBY looks younger than her age! I also love mirae’s story with her boss. I wish we’ve seen more of them.

I really love kim rosa and hyeon sangwol story! I think it was the best part of the series. I love how she found a daughter and son in miji and hosu TT

Mirae and Sejin are so cute and soft mallang mallang while Miji and Hosu are so cute too in their own world?? While played by the same actor? Genius! And their chemistry with the moms are all on point I'm bawling my eyes out! This drama deserve nominations!!

lrt Sep 14 2025 2:30 pm I get that most people fell in love with this drama but for me the writers had me bouncing too much around, made it too sappy and if I had to look at that stoic expression of Mi Jae face anymore, I would want to pull my hair out. Loved lawyer Lee Chung-Gu and Kim Ro-sa story line which is the only reason I kept watching.

This drama is also very touching. Park Bo Young's acting is undeniable. She plays both roles very well. And her chemistry with Jinyoung is really good.

All the actors in this drama played their roles very well. That's why this drama has a satisfying ending. Rating: 10/10

It reminds you to appreciate the little things and the people who come into your life. A feel-good drama that leaves a warm impression.

I had the vibe of Our Beloved Summer when watching this, when I checked, these movies has the same music director!

The whole movie is well done, plot is great, actors are phenomenal, and to me, actors, subject matter, plot, everything is done very well. I loved Park Bo Young in Doom At Your Service and was very good as well, but her acting in Our Unwritten Seoul is even better - please keep making these types of movies, much of the American done movies are so Not on par - I have actually become a real KDrama addict!!!@

An amazing series from start to finish, the dialogue didn’t waver & the supporting characters all acted their hearts out. My favourite moments were between Mi-Rae and Se-Jin, what sweet and innocent chemistry.

chloe Jun 29 2025 5:06 am love and life are not about work and titles but mostly about people around and relationships you have with them. thank you for this lesson writer-nim. i am a bit ashamed to say it, but i left my prestigious corporate high paying job 3 years ago and moved to a new field, i lost a lot of connections, friends, in general people did not understand me, it was very lonely for a long time. i understand mi rae very well. and what she said in ep.11 “maybe this will be a wrong answer but at least it feels right to me” kind of reassured me in my decision.

this show is good. it brought me some kind of peace and joy.

PBY and JY were good together, nice chemistry.

Brian V Jun 25 2025 7:50 am I'm finally caught up including up to episode 10; They really should have called this show "Pity Party".

I like Park Bo-Young, from Daily Dose of Sunshine, another show I can't seem to finish watching. I like the actress, but these shows are so full of melodrama. SSoS is much darker and much more difficult to watch. This show has a good plot, it's just filled with these long drawn out scenes of "woe is me".

I like Lim Chul-Soo from Vincenzo, but the character he's playing in this show is really next level sociopath.

I keep expecting a tie in between Kim Ro-Sa and Kang Wol-Sun. If they are going with a doppleganger to the dad, it makes sense to tie the older ladies together, somehow.

I did fast forward through some of episode 5. It was either that or just quit the show.

This might be one of those kind of shows I watch, and then I regret watching, like The Light in Your Eyes, with two of my favorite actresses, Han Ji-Min and Kim Hye-Ja, as well as Song Sang-Eun, Lee Jung-Eun, Kim Ga-Eun, Son Ho-Jun, and Ahn Nae-Sang. Sometimes the acting can't save the writing.

Erika Jun 24 2025 10:34 pm I'm loving this so far but the first thing they did wrong was tell us which baby was supposed to be named what, and then IMMEDIATELY swap their names. I'm trying hard enough to use all my good brain cells to read the subtitles and now I have to figure out twins swapping places, swapping names, in and out of back stories.

However, the mere thought of the romance that will hopefully develop between my Jinyoungie and either twin has me giddy to my toes!

Brian V Jun 24 2025 8:35 am This is an interesting show with a good plot, but the show grinds to a halt with these very long, self pity scenes. I'm on episode 5, and I don't know if I can finish it. It's torture, and a show shouldn't be torture.

There's a lot to like about this show, but the pity parties have to stop. The writer must have some really serious self esteem issues.

She could have easily played the teen role pr they could have gotten someone who at least resembles her. She even appears constantly all throughout the series

But that is not usually the reality. We all have things we are struggling with. It's not a contest. Just support each other and try to be understanding.

As far as the love interests, I don't think there was ever a triangle--just people's misconceptions. Hosu has always loved Miji. He suspects they have switched when he first runs into her in Seoul. She confirms it later. He never dated Mirae; she just fainted on him and he had to carry her off to the hospital. It's what normal people do. And he was professionally involved in a workplace incident that was suddenly shut down. If that happened to the sister of my loved one, I'd be concerned both professionally as well as due to concern for my loved one's family members.

Joanna Jun 09 2025 12:36 pm @MIDA , trust me it’s really not that deep. Hosu isn’t two timing, as much as he likes miji, he also cares about mirae in a friendly way. Miji and mirae are twins after all, he’s only looking out for Mirae. From watching the show, you can tell that hosu is quite innocent and naive almost like a fool, miji even called him a fool but it’s one of the reasons she likes him. He has no bad intentions and in episode 6 we saw how he has been looking out for miji back In school even without miji knowing.

When he came back to visit, he only asked about mirae because he could tell that she was struggling and something was wrong, we know that mirae isn’t as strong as Miji, and she’s also far from her family with no one looking out for her, That was hosu letting miji know that something was wrong and she should go check on her sister and honestly we have hosu to thank because who knows what would have happened if Miji didn’t go to Seoul when she did.

cocoroni Jun 08 2025 3:57 pm a ongoing drama yet it is a total masterpiece, park bo-young's drama really hook me at all. i love how ho-su and mi-ji's character was developing as well as mi-rae and se-jin's love story. 6 episodes feels like a whole kdrama itself, i am waiting for a plot but the way the drama moves it feels like more on a problem-solving situations. (btw first drama i watched of jin-young, he nailed man)

i clearly and vividly understand each characters and they portrayed it so well, that it sometimes makes me forget the both mi-ji and mi-rae is played by the same actress.

as for mi-ji she wasn't that overachiever kid unlike her sister, yet she kept trying to also get some attention from her mother. that's why she thinks that if she completely lost the runner title she had it would be a mess. she thinks she was useless and unseen, but good thing halmonie was there for her. an energetic girl who also longing for someones love and attention.

mi-rae is a kind of girl who's nonchalant, she's an overachiever and could literally hook people's mind, yet deep inside she also wanted a life like mi-ji have, she thinks that everything she did wasn't for herself, yet for those people in her surrounding. i understand her character so well, she do everything, and the best she can do. both of them has their own traumas that wasn't hard to cope with.

i think ho-su is a uncommon guy i didn't usually meet. he was a green flag of all. he is also trying being a usual kid yet his condition take advantage of him. he's completely a walking green flag yet it was rarely shown. the love she gave for mi-ji never changes even how long it was. "first love never dies"

and se-jin portrayed his character so well, viewers rarely see his potential yet he was a good guy. she takes care of mi-rae and never makes her feel like a burden at work. i feel his longing for her grandfather, and i really like his character it was so cute.

overall is a totally great impact for me as a non-fictional person. their stories make me feel like i wasn't a burden at all, that i was also longing for those kinds of services and love. that i just wanted is to be myself (like mi-ji and mi-rae), that every time i am doing my best.

one thing is clear about this drama, it is a so called home where you could find comfort with. one rule of park bo-young, if she cries we cry. a total masterpiece, hope this drama wins an award this year.

AM Jun 02 2025 5:11 am Park Bo-young delivers her role magnificently. You can really feel the range of emotions from her characters, Mi-Rae and Mi-Ji. I still remember her performance in Daily Dose of Sunshine.

This story hits home—especially because I’m in that phase of life.

As Mi-Ji, I sometimes feel useless. I’m currently in a place where I don’t want to meet people because I’m afraid I haven’t met their expectations.

As Mi-Rae, I used to be an overachiever. I always pushed myself to be the best, but I got tired. Now, I find it hard to do anything at all.

As Ho-Su, I recently resigned from a stable job and honestly don’t know what to do with my life.

If you’re in the same boat as me, this K-drama is for you. Let’s keep fighting. ?

j Jun 01 2025 10:05 pm i already know how great of an actress park bo-young is but her acting continues to surprise me! she portrays emotions so well, it almost feels like it’s real…this k-drama truly showcases her top-notch acting skills. so far, all the episodes are good, especially episode 4. you guys need to watch this k-drama, you won’t regret it!

Ho-Su knows Jun 01 2025 5:41 pm I believe Ho-Su has known its Miji since the beginning but he has been allowing her to continue with her disguise as her sister. From episode one we have been shown glimpses of him infatuated with Miji and not Mirea. At the beginning of ep 4 I was fooled for a moment that he might be falling for Mi-Rae but at the end confirmed that its always been Mi-Ji that he liked and that’s why he wanted to let her know it’s Mi-Ji and not Mi-Rae that he likes to avoid confusion and losing his chance with her.

I’m sure we will find out in the coming weeks why there was misunderstanding about the sports day event and why he hasn’t reached out to Mi-ji in her time of need even though he knew Mi-Rae disguised herself as Mi-Ji to help her sister graduate since both him and his mother can tell the twins apart but apparently their own mother can’t, which is just outrageous.

Quennie Marcelino May 30 2025 8:10 am I love this movie/series of Park Jin-Young, I hope this will be succeed and I hope this will be trend in our country (Philippines), I really like the stories of Korea and actually the actors and actress. Park Jin-Young will be succeeded someday and get the best actor of the year someday; I really fan of him I hope he sees this. The story of The Witch by director Kim Tae-Gyon is very nice and even the ending is so interesting it so really nice, I hope Mr. Jin will succeed someday he's so very good at acting it really make me cry, and I hope he sees this I wish someday I will be visit at Korea and take a picture of all of them, all of the Korean actors I really a biggest fan of Korea since pandemic (Covid-19).

cineries May 27 2025 1:52 am This drama is truly heartfelt. The well-written script and the strong performances from the actors make the story feel so relatable and close to home. It feels as if writer Lee Kang is offering a warm hug to all the office workers who are silently struggling through her writing.
