An Joo-Hyeong (Lee Jong-Suk) works as a lawyer. He has the type of personality where he can be brutally honest to other people. He never had a deep interest or dream of becoming a lawyer to protect the weak or carry out justice. He became a lawyer simply because he likes following logic and cases. He has worked for the same law firm for the past 9 years, since he began his legal career. He is recognized at his law firm for his work by receiving a record salary for an associate lawyer. He has no interest in opening his own law office because it is too much trouble for him. He is comfortable in his perfect workplace, but his peaceful world begins to crack.

the synopsis, plot, storyline and cases were quite interesting and but it took me some times to completely watching all episodes. this drama ended good and proper with high rating too so to me i think they should not proceed with any other seasons.

it was my first time watching moon ga young's works and i think her character in this drama was cringe and unfavorable to me. she seemed to control her expression and the way she talked as kang hui ji like showing aegyo. not sure if this was only for her character here or this is how she acts in other project too.

their friendship did remind us to mido and falasol but there was also unlively character like ahn ju hyeong, so it was far from being close to hospital playlist's vibes.

anyway, i still recommend this drama.

Olya_1004 Aug 10 2025 6:39 am Surprisingly I really enjoyed this drama,I still have 2 episodes left but out of all the dramas I am watching at the moment,this was one of the dramas that I actually anticipated the next episode. Although the drama has no major twists and turns,I found comfort in the slower pace and slice of life vibe. There are many eating scenes for sure that reminded me a lot of let's eat lol but I think it was essential to show us the group dynamics and relationships they have with each other. Initially I wanted to skip it because I'm not the biggest fan of Lee Jong Suk and his character might be my least favourite out of the main 5 but that's just because he's a bit robotic for my liking but overall I really recommend it if you want lovable characters and not messy twists.

dea Aug 07 2025 2:08 pm Falling in love with this drama, since episode one! I got the vibes of hospital playlist series in this drama, but way more relatable to an office worker daily life. Loving the friendships which is very heartwarming. Also love how each character protray in detail with sufficient screen time. The story is not focus only on the main lead, but each supporting lead also has their own storyline which are very interesting. If you enjoy watching hospital playlist or resident playbook, you will definitely will enjoy this drama too!

nahatsu Aug 04 2025 12:14 am I have enjoyed this new series from day one, episode one! I love the clever weave of story lines from the key characters being great work colleagues, as well as friends. The way their friendships blend together is heartwarming.

A particular highlight; the shared lunches and general dining camaraderie is so entertaining, as well as how they back one another up with cases at work! From the view of being thoroughly intriguing and interesting, it also has the additional benefit of a wonderful mix of romance, and family vibe, for good measure!

For me this series ticks all boxes! I know I will want to keep this one in my bookmarked 'favourites'! Thanks to the writers, producers and production crews! 100%

The way they incorporate so many different themes in this drama and also how they portray various complexities of life is just fascinating. It's a fun watch but sometimes it can make you emotional as well. All the actors did a great job honestly!

Kookie Jul 27 2025 12:13 am I love it so much!!! Everything is perfect - the storytelling, the slowburn, the characters, the chemistry!!! Gayoung and Jongsuk look sooooo good together and their scenes just hits the spot. I kept giggling to their every scene. Def one of the best dramas for me.

If you are thinking it's similar to ICHYV or WYWS, you are wrong.

This drama will leave you fuzzy instead of annoyed. The perfect slice of life drama. It's mature and realistic, but not boring.

It's the kind of drama that you would want to watch before your bed time and makes you feel all good cause all the main characters there are just .. good people.

I'm in my late 20s now, I feel like these kind of drama have a special place in my heart.

Jillibean Jul 11 2025 9:23 am @ mahdiye, the background music in Korean dramas is one of the primary reasons I fell in love with them way back in 2006. I am often impressed by their OST qualities, and I think since this is a slice-of-life type of drama they really use the music to imprint certain feelings in their audience, like joy or sadness. I find it less distracting when the music is instrumental, not vocal. Perhaps they will do that more as the story progresses.

mahdiye Jul 11 2025 8:46 am I waited so long for Lee Jong Suk to act again that I was practically dying... The characters, story, and atmosphere are interesting and real

but what's most annoying is the drama is music... Right in the middle of dialogues, the music ruins your concentration, and instead of watching the drama, all you hear is the background music blaring.

Law and the City - lawyer - Slice of life Big Mouth - lawyer (1st episode ), Prisioner ( 15 episdoes ) - noir WYWS - prosecutor - fantasy

So I don't get where the complaning comes from. He has done plently of other projects ( both dramas and movies ) with other professions, do check them out.
