Lee Hae-Sook (Kim Hye-Ja) dies at the age of 80. During her life, she became the head of her household overnight due to her husband Ko Nak-Joon's accident. After that, she worked hard to support her family alone. Now, at the Heaven Admission Counseling Office, she makes the decision to live as she is now at the age of 80 for her life in Heaven. She made that choice because her husband told her "You were pretty in your 20's and you were also pretty in your 40's, but you are the prettiest now."

She arrives in Heaven with the same appearance she had before her death and she reunites with her husband Ko Nak-Joon (Son Suk-Ku), who has the appearance of his himself from his younger days. Ko Nak-Joon is surprised by his wife's 80 year old appearance and Lee Hae-Sook is surprised by her husband's 30 year old appearance. It turns out, Lee Hae-Sook is the only person who has chosen not to return to her youthful days in Heaven. Meanwhile, Ko Nak-Joon works as a postman in Heaven. He delivers letters of wishes from Earth. He died before his beloved wife Lee Hae-Sook, but built a pretty house in Heaven and waited for her there. Finally, they reunite and begin their life in Heaven.

Bea Mar 05 2026 4:50 am Tried watching this but it was too dull and draggy. The mismatched of the cast doesnt look appealing and convincing. Their concept of heaven and hell was too lousy to be taken seriously. Like, the souls would just hang around there like their lives on earth? Another lifetime that is too lonely and boring. Even their capacity of buying meals there depends on your wealth when you were still alive. They try to make it seem like people are doing better and are happy but the ahjumma's feeling is telling otherwise lmao. She always look mad and stress. Also, the employees doesnt seem like they fit there.

If you are looking for something to help with your insomnia, then try this therapy. This series will surely make you sleep early.

KimAyaza02 Feb 07 2026 12:40 pm I was amazed by this drama. The storyline was beautiful and touching. It revealed the human and animal sides of the story in great detail. I was especially impressed by the actors who played the animals. How could their acting be so similar with animals? It almost felt like they were animals. Your acting was incredible.

I now know why episode ten has a much lower ratings than the other episodes, it's full of flashback scenes that we've already seen. It's tedious to watch these scenes again and again.

I'm curious why Son-I didn't get a grape sticker for smashing a cup against Nak-Joon's head, making him bleed.

There seems to be a lot of ambiguity to what is allowed and not allowed, both while in Heaven, and to get into Heaven.

There wasn't enough of Joo Min-Kyung's character in this show. A lost opportunity.

Erra Jun 06 2025 2:43 pm I never thought that this drama would be this good.. It's very hood written and made. The story is funny, heartwarming, romantic and gets great plot twist. Though for some people it is weird to have couples with so much age gap as lead male and female actors but it is what make this drama unique. Love the chemistry among actors here. Very very recommend this drama.

I am May 31 2025 9:21 pm I love this drama so.much. My favorite actor Sun Suk ku and my favorite Halmoni Kim Hye jin. This is a very heartwarming drama though a bit slow but still, I give this a rate of 9/10. A new story and teary eyes on dog story is heartbreaking. Im still a episode 10 but I heard they will not end up together ??. I do not know if Im going to finish the epi 11 and 12 if that is the ending. I will try, hope they will be happy.

I absolutely loved the actor who played the pastor because he truly captured the behavior of a 5 year old that’s what really brought the drama to life for me. If I’m not mistaken, this is the second drama with Kim Hye Ja and Han Ji Min, right? Where they both play the younger and older versions of the same character? (Correct me if I’m wrong.) Seriously, it’s amazing.

The whole set up in this show is the antithesis of what the Bible teaches about heaven and hell and the gospel, that I have a hard time understanding what they are trying to tell us about the characters in this screenplay. It's too fanciful. I will finish it but I hope it has a happy ending, not a sad one.

Ninja May 10 2025 5:10 pm Just watched the recent episode and I gotta say, while I’ve enjoyed the show so far I’m considering dropping it. The pity party for someone who lived through the same hell and decided to bring that hell forward to another generation isn’t sitting well with me. “I thought that’s just how people lived?” was an acceptable reason for y’all? Top that with some serious grown man tantrums that even Son Sokku’s charm cannot redeem.

That line hit hard though “It was about how Nak-joon became a stranger whenever he was with his mother.” I’ll probably see if they can redeem this story with the next episode but I’m on the fence.

Danniah May 08 2025 4:57 am This drama is light and easy to watch. Not too intense nor emotional. I usually play it while eating or winding down before bed, and it’s just right for that.

It’s definitely not meant to be a deep take on heaven or hell, so don’t expect anything too philosophical.

I’m mostly just curious about who Somi really is. Hopefully, the next episodes will drop some hints.

If you’re looking for a chill, feel-good drama, I’d totally recommend this one.
