Kim Hong-Do (Lee Yoo-Young) is single and works as a contract worker for the design team of a mid-sized apparel company. She does pretty much everything there, including running errands, and her colleagues on the design team look down on her, but she maintains a positive attitude and doesn't give up on attaining what she wants. Her dream is to work as a designer for a global luxury fashion brand. She keeps moving forward for her dream.

Meanwhile, Shin Yoon-Bok (Kim Myung-Soo) is a successor of his family who lives in Sungsan Village. The village maintains the appearance from the Joseon period. He takes the appearance of a Confucian scholar and follows what the elders in his family says, but he is also a young man who is full of adventure and a rebellious spirit. He has a dream of becoming of a webcomic writer. To attain his dream, he runs away to Seoul. There, Shin Yoon-Bok meets Kim Hong-Do.

jasmin Sep 04 2024 11:55 am myungsoo's acting is always top tier but his leading lady is just not so in sync like they're not serving that romantic couple in kdrama's the girl's eyes is just somehow weird and as for her outfits it really doesn't give justice about her being a designer and the actress just look so old in the drama while myungsoo's gonna pass as a high schooler and I really find her lame in her outfits,the way she acted and on overall please give myungsoo more projects and better leading ladies!

avery Jul 20 2024 12:28 pm started watching for myungsoo. it was quite dull at first but then it gets serious and confusing in the middle.

as much as i like myungsoo, i don't feel the chemistry between him and the female lead.

until the end, hongdo doesn't know when she was young, she met yoonbok's dad? i was hoping to see her finding out about the accessory & then telling yoonbok she met his dad before. they even take pic together but no closure on that.

i hope junho and yibok does end up together after all.

Bee Jul 07 2024 5:10 am i loved the pace of the drama at the start and looked forward to new episodes. i believe that the entire storyline could have been wrapped up besautifully in less than 16 episodes. i found the storyline engaging but slow towards episodes 13-16. 6/10 for me, loved Camille's character so much, her execution was flawless, as well as joon-ho and franky

Fab Jul 06 2024 10:31 am This is such a boring show. The FL character is not in sync romantically with the ML (Kim Myeong Soo). For a so called designer she is frumpy in her dressing, attitude and overall being. Her character started off a being a doormat and she continued to be boring. The entire story line is disjointed, phony emotional acting and boring. The ML is very good and funny. I liked the historical part of this but overall this show is a skip. Waste of time unfortunately!

I can't stand with the FL anymore she's like a sugar mamma for the male lead (the plot is she's just 6yrs older not like a momma) acting cute is not her (she's better in dark roles). She's working as a fashion designer but her styling is so off. The rest cast are doing great specially male lead (from comedy, action & emotional scenes)

This couple does not have chemistry. Don't get me wrong, I really love kim myung soo. But this time round, I felt he chose the wrong script. I will still finish the show just to watch him
