Heo Gyun (Xiumin) is recognized as a genius, with extremely good writing skills and esthetic sense. He is the first food columnist of the Joseon Dynasty, but something happens that sends him into exile. One night, assassins visit Heo Gyun and try to kill him. While running away from the assassins, he ends up traveling through 400 years in time and arriving in the present day. Heo Gyun, who is starving, is found by Bong Eun-Sil (Chu So-Jung) in front of a small restaurant. The restaurant is run by Bong Eun-Sil's mother. Due to Bong Eun-Sil’s mother's situation, Heo Gyun and Bong Eun-Sil begin to run the restaurant together.
