Oh So-Ryong (Kim Hye-Soo) is the chief of Trigger, an investigative reporting program that investigates cases that the police and prosecutors are unable to solve. They end up exposing dark crimes and unmasks villains through their work. PD Han Do (Jung Sung-Il) joins the Trigger team.

Thando Apr 30 2025 8:49 pm Something about this show is unsettling. Maybe I missed something, but some of the story lines just didn't add up for me. I'm not sure if it's the way they conclude the cases or their portrayal of the characters, but something doesn't sit right for me.

Apart from that, the cast was great and the cases they covered were enjoyable.

Is he supposed to be a loner who doesn't trust others and prefers to work independently, or just an immature adult? I understand his background but I can't tell what age his character is supposed to be or what kind of personality he's trying to portray — whatever it is, it's just annoying.

Teegirl Feb 28 2025 9:01 am I enjoyed every bit of this investigative drama. It is amazing as how the FL is still has charming ever since her days in Signal. Every single actor played their role well. And I like how the supporting character were also made to shine.

@Cee: just enjoy the movie for what it is. After all each actor is playing out a character, it is not their really person. So enjoy the show and leave their age or their personal lives out of the character they are made to play.

Cee Feb 21 2025 11:14 pm Not a fan of the forced romance bits nearing the end of the drama. I know the age difference between FL and ML is ten years apart, so it was automatically a cringe factor for me when I realised the show was trying to show that ML was showing an attraction to the FL. Painfully obvious that they are trying to make FL look younger and energetic, but filters can only do that much. Sorry, not a fan. Not the right way to treat ageism.

Olya_1004 Feb 19 2025 11:33 pm Where to start with this show? I loved it,from the sub plots to the main plot,the acting and atmosphere,it was amazing. It is definitely a dark show and some of the cases were actually quite unsettling,this is coming from someone who loves horror movies and always tries to find the creepiest ones.

There is some comedy thrown in there but I would say,in the last 4 episodes there wasn't much which made sense for the story and the pace of those episodes. I found myself having goosebumps more than once at how deprived humans can be,especially in the first case and the last episode,if you know you know.

All the actors did an amazing job,especially actor Choi Dae Hoon which came in for the last 4 episodes,damn,his portrayal of an insane man was just unhinged and made my skin crawl. I seen him in other dramas and most of his roles have been antagonistic but still,I always judge an actor on how well he can play a psycho and I respect him for that. If you enjoy investigative dramas with different cases every couple of episodes,I recommend it. It kind of reminded me of Voice which is a drama I love a lot.

Mary Feb 19 2025 11:14 pm Excellent crime reporting show. Very suspensful and a bit scary at times. Even the small parts were well acted and the main characters were excellent. I binge watched it in a couple of days. 12 episodes was just right. A tightly told story.
