Dong-Jin (Jin Young) is recognized as the best in the field of data mining. The reason he majored in statistics at his university was because of Mi-Jeong (Roh Jeong-Eui) and his wish to help her. Dong-Jin and Mi-Jeong attended the same high school and he had crush on her, but she was called a witch. Since Mi-Jeong was little, strange things occurred around her like all the guys who liked her died or got injured. 10 years after school graduation, Dong-Jin happens to meet Mi-Jeong again. She has now cut herself off from the world, believing her fate is cursed, but she wants to go out into the world. In hopes of Mi-Jeong breaking out of her shell, Dong-Jin wants to prove that all these unfortunate incidents are not because of her. To prove his thesis, he investigates all the situations when guys around her got hurt. Risking his life, he finally finds the law of misfortune around her.

jajaja Aug 08 2025 4:40 am The storyline is interesting but too much repeated scene. Every scene too slow that if you watch it at double speed it seems pretty normal cause it's damn slow! The only time it fast is when the chasing criminal scene I guess, other than that is wow. I like how they make both lead visual fit the character situation. The fact about the ML friend finally make sense to me for his character cause I started to get annoyed at some point cause there seems no coherent between them. Anyway great plot this one.

But for this, the logic POV, come on, so many people still happy with long distance relationship with the power of communication device & apps these days. Why he didnt test that?? So frustrating!!

If you want kissing scenes, pls watch Jinyoung in Our Unwritten Seoul. There you can see his cute, awkward kiss progressing to sweet & romantic ones!! IMO his best kisses are in OUS!

This drama The Witch is a slow burn one, the hug here is more sexy than a kiss. Imagine not being able to talk to your first love for years! They gotta start from dating stage ?

Haahaa, I know that its normal because not all people after they confess is you are required to kiss them, not all people are the same I know the director is very matured because it gives maturity in the movie, if you confess to someone it doesn't require to kiss them or kiss them back. Be matured enough.

Also female lead doesn't speak Germany, not a single time. The waitress in Austria speaking Germany but the only thing she said is "Thank you". Cristalena Mar 16 2025 8:24 pm I actually do not like this at all. I love the actors and felt like they all did a great job. I do not mind slow shows but this one was not done well, imo. The reuse of unnecessary scenes that added absolutely nothing to the story were hard to ignore. I like the idea of different pov and the same scene seen from different eyes but that is not what happened here.

I also feel like the ending didnt resolve anything. No explanations and a rushed pairing.

I wouldnt consider this a romance at all maybe a melodramatic mystery would be a better genre.

I think it has to do with the fact that her dad never did the memorial rights for his wife because it was his daughter's birthday. Just a thought. Why mention it in the beginning if there is nothing to it. Anyway, I like all the actors. They are doing a great job!

For example, I think people who liked Vincenzo have lower taste and a bad sense of humor but not a lower IQ. You don't need to insults people and can them stupid because they like something you consider terrible. This drama is definitely not everyone's cup of tea, it's a slow one without much going on but a clear idea that they want to deliver. I'm personally enjoying it but I could definitely understand those who don't like it.

Truman Mar 09 2025 11:27 pm Really good drama! It was slow paced at the beginning but the later episodes have pulled through! I recommend this drama if you have the time to enjoy it since it is a slow burner. If you are like Ina and have a low attention span, I wouldn't recommend it for you.

Idk how many times I scream thinking DongJin's gonna get hurt, I knew He'll not be a dead man by now but still... All of the scene was good except the opening reuse too much from previous episode and the closing, DongJin gets wind for his hair from fan rather than actual drowning scene in water so it's quite awkward.

Happy98 Mar 01 2025 4:16 pm The story idea is interesting and fresh. While love is characterized by massive attention and skinship between lovers, the male lead is not so. Somehow what he did was stalking her, but not in creepy way. He loves her by finding his way to understand how her world is worked. As an INTP watch all of his efforts and analytical skills melts me down, I'd love to be loved like that ? I might be excited to find the rules together.

Almost hit that pathetic self-pity situation there, imho, of course. Lots of people like that, no doubt, and no doubt either, they are the most boring people to be around, let alone to watch. Or maybe they didn't eat well before the shooting of the scenes. pali..pali..guys.

Reading the comments people seem annoyed that ep 2 seems like a repeat but I felt like it was necessary for us to see Mijeong’s perspective and to help the viewers sympathise with her more.

I also love the story with both their parents and how their parents were always by their side no matter what anyone else had to say.

This drama is a very emotional one and the actors really make you feel the emotions. Regret, love, sadness, happiness… no matter what emotion they are trying to express you feel it in every scene.

Dongjin during high school and college days is so dorky and fun and I really hope he finds a way to lift her curse because that girl has gone through too much.

Writer nim please give our Dongjin and Mijeong their happy ending.
