Yoon Hong-Dae (Park Seo-Jun) is a soccer player. He becomes involved in an unexpected case and, because of this, receives disciplinary measure. Yoon Hong-Dae is then appointed the coach for a special national soccer team. The team consists of homeless people and they have never played soccer before. Yoon Hong-Dae and his team compete in the Homeless World Cup.

Mary Aug 18 2025 11:58 pm Just watched this for the 2nd time and enjoyed it as much as the first. It´s a heartwarming little sports story filled with excellent actors and performances. It hums right along and is perfect when you are tired of all the angsty and depressing movies and series.

Cellasne May 22 2024 6:19 am The movie is good overall, I was watching the movie on the plane, I was laughing to the point Noona next to me wondered if I'm crazy.. everything about this movie is okay, people complain about no romance but not every movie with such main leads is supposed to have romance, but of course main leads had a great chemistry! Also it was nice seeing beom Soo (jung Seung-Gil) and Jin joo(Lee ji hyun) a couple in real life as couple in this movie too

Nadia Hutton Aug 06 2023 12:37 am I laughed, cried and had a mini breakdown, fantastic story line just slow start due to cast storyline, but definitely makes up for it in the end, watched it 4am in the morning and tried not to laugh to loud but failed miserably at that, Knew it would be good due to PSJ ( love you) and UI and definitely did not dissapoint, will definitely be an international hit. Lesson Learn : Don't be afraid to suck at something again.

Hayeon Yun Aug 04 2023 4:31 pm Hilarious movie, watched with my family and we were cracking up at so many scenes. Korean post-production editing is SO good, and there was really good chemistry between all the actors and the team.

Very heartwarming film, I felt super invested while watching and loved Jin Joo and Beom Soo’s storyline. Beom Soo getting jealous and giving PSJ the stink eye every other scene was hilarious. Great movie, don’t know why so many reviews called it boring. Highly recommend, especially since it’s streaming on Netflix now!

risha Aug 04 2023 11:03 am Just finished watching the movie, and... it was quite fun? I like the movie, its 9/10 for me. So when I checked this page, I don't understand why people said its boring, not interesting, or even disappointing ? personally, the portions are perfect for me. It's not slow-paced tho, and the bond in the team omg. Suprisingly park seojoon is a good soccer player and he played this role very well as a coach. What lacking from this maybe only the duration, I need a lil bit more ? more of them after their become atheletes, and some of IU act maybe. She played well but I didn't find her enough in this movie. Overall, very good and pleasing IMO! <3

It took me awhile to feel close to the players but about half-way through the story I understood them all and was solidly in their corner rooting for them. I liked the moments of humor which kept the theme of homeless people from becoming too depressing.

Of course casting the two of the most seasoned, versatile, talented and gorgeous leads Park Seo joon and IU , was a genius selection . These two leads could work with any actor and come out shining , I Love park seo joon ,and IU so much, bravo job well done . If I may add , loved casting Kang ha neuls only as a cameo , he compliments Park seo joon so much with his amazing chemistry, and of course , the director knew that it was necessary as a short cameo , otherwise , the story would’ve changed.

 Hopefully this writer creates dramas with them together as two leads.

The story can relate to real life even if the theme is comedy, no one will give up until there is a dream. It's so good, you will definitely repeat it. I like IU and of course Park Seo Joon, their acting is great, IU is beautiful and PSJ is so handsome.. All the casts act well. I hope there is a season 2, same casts, I hope in season 2 PSJ will court IU. That they are the focus and their mutual dreams come true Or just Kdrama, they have good chemistry. It can be RomCOm pleaae.

It took a while to release, I had to wait for two years, and I almost even thought this film would not be published to the mass. When I watched the cast of this movie as guests for the variety show "the game caterers", I already felt the group's tight bond, camaraderie, and amazing fighting spirit. I could not help but root for them all the way! I felt the same when I watched the movie. It actually made me cry. Perhaps, it's because I had my own memories of football as well I felt a sense of connection to the movie. Or maybe because the actors did such an impressive job portraying their characters with each of them having such a well-thought-out background story. Or maybe because I loved how they perfectly brought out the humor and emotional side of the plot. This may not be a movie for everyone (since some ain't fond of the story), but I can tell you it is definitely worth a try to watch and check whether it's for you or not.

The story line and the actors/actresses were so good. Such a beautiful and heartfelt movie. So many people were disliking the story line, but the work came out so beautiful. The comedy def got me cracking up. You definitely will be crying along with the story line???

I don't know but the was giddy seeing the casts of be melodramatic being in the other dramas or movies directed by the same director

Im a Park Seo Joon fan i like how he acts especially in his comedy films since im more into comedy, romcom genre, this koreans never fail to amused me, i was like back then "nah im not gonna watch this girl/guy films not my type " but now as if a stalker looking all of their films/movies, if i can just turn back time and watched those korean series/movies back then i shouldnt been this left out ahahhaha, need time to cover those all missed moments time to binge.
