Woo-Ram (Shin Seung-Ho) is busy preparing to get a job. Hyun-Ji (Irene ) is a would-be anchor, but she works at a homemade hamburger restaurant. One night, Woo-Ram visits the hamburger restaurant and orders a hamburger with double patty, which has a "buy one, get one free" sale. This is how their relationship begins.

my heart is broken Jan 30 2023 2:34 pm don't watch it too bad don't ask how you know it didn't meet my expectation when my cousins came to visit we were hungry and the girl fell asleep anyway it's a real life story at least add some fiction...... if we want a real story we can tell each other my life is more fun 10 hours of glances and you have to understand everything yourself as a result I watched it for shin seung ho it was very good, my score is 1 I made a mistake, I'm writing so you don't, someone had to say this

silo Jan 30 2023 4:14 am Its surprisingly good! A story of a guy with a dream that suddenly experiencing loss but does not know how to grief. Then he met this girl who is struggling in life but somehow is biding her time, a disconnection to "competition" in chasing her career.

Through their encounter, they find warmth with themselves picking each other up.

Norik BC Oct 13 2022 10:02 pm I watched this because of Seung Ho , after his great acting in Alchemy of souls , he was in a supporting but shined and his chemistry with my idol Jang so min was amazing , but somehow I was disappointed here with lack of chemistry coming from Irene , she just is not good , I don’t know it was the direction or her capacity as an actress that was lacking , sorry . The story line and the directing was not good either , I think Seung ho’s talent was waisted here . This movie felt like 16 episode drama cut up to fit into one movie . No connecting dots . Irene’s personality changes seemed unfitting , and my God , why so much drinking scenes ? What was the transgender relationship with the movie ? Or smoking scenes ?

Zerocool Aug 19 2022 10:51 pm I am not a fan of Irene but for her debut movie, I think she did pretty well. Nobody is born a star. Stars are made through hard work! Overall movie is warm heart felt. It’s all about human emotion. Watch it if you have time.

I love irene so much, i love her acting in game development girls maybe this movie about motivation so young people not really intrested. I hope to see same actor&actress with other movie, sad or romantic genre. Btw thankyou for make irene acting again<3 double patty is good movie. I’m actually like it, in this movie you should choose who are you eaither you woo ram or hyun ji actually you can feel how your life going , dont give up.

lovie Sep 14 2021 8:53 am Irene's acting here is just fine as a beginner. She lives to her character -timid and unspoken. She looks pretty so just smiling will be enough to boost the drama.

BluntRevel Jun 12 2021 3:34 am I'm gonna live up to my name and really be blunt, I love Irene, but her acting is really awkward. Yes the script is not that great, but you just can tell that while filming, Irene's mind is preoccupied with how to look pretty on camera and not how Lee Hyunji mind really works. I mean, I don't hate the movie, but I really can't bring myself to watch it the second time tbh.

So Lala May 14 2021 12:30 am For the newbies, it's a good starters. For actors that just do movie for the first times, both lead actors are just fine. The absence of stand-out performance is comparable to the absence of drawbacks that could have knock down the entire movie. It is just so-so. This movie is not a disappointment, but a good chance. Although there are still few roughly-cutted scenes and awkward actings. The chemistry is sheer but it is there. For an idol and a first-timer, Irene did really good. She could counterbalance SSH and SSH compensate and complement her. And I think the soundtracks ate aweeeesome.

Concept wise, I think the story and the character arc are a good drama material. The writer who could handle it well could turn it into a worthy drama.
