Chae Yong-Joo (Kim Se-Jeong) is a former member of the special forces in the military. She has strong physical strength, strong mental fortitude and her own unique cheerfulness. She is also good at hiding her true emotions. She now works as a salesperson for a liquor company. She has worked at the company for 6 years and has obtained the title of the sales king. She is very devoted to her work and the branch where she works, but the branch is on the verge of closing. To avoid the closure, she carries out a mission. Her mission is to sell a new beer. That beer is made by brewmaster & CEO of the brewery company Yoon Min-Joo (Lee Jong-Won). He is a sensitive man and good at sensing other people's emotions. He lives in a peaceful and quiet rural area to focus on making beer and his emotions, but Chae Yong-Joo appears in front of him. This changes his life.

Meanwhile, Bang A-Reum (Shin Do-Hyun) is a manager of the planning team. She competes with Chae Yong-Joo for Yoon Min-Joo’s brewery. Oh Chan-Hwi (Baek Sung-Chul) is Chae Yong-Joo’s friend with a free-spirit.

Aug 18 2025 10:15 pm very underrated, healing drama. regardless of all the negative views, i would confidently say that brewing love is a well-written and well-produced masterpiece that reveals the importance of empathy and communication. i love the mature relationship that the two main leads have, it’s quite refreshing. there’s also so many cute, heart-fluttering scenes that were so fun to watch.

Lightandbubbly Dec 26 2024 11:29 am Light and bubbly short drama for those who just want to have a fun watch. Like how the director visualized empathy as well as ptsd. Kim Sejong alway cute. Lee Jong Won is a male lead on the rise hoping to see more projects. Shin Do Hyun elegant as always good to see her back in dramas. Baek Sung Chul is a gem so funny and charming.

Cool because there’s brewin/beer facts and marketing tidbits. If your into craft brewing or just beer in general you’ll appreciate this drama.

I do not agree that Sejeong did not deliver on this drama. You might not watch the whole drama.

Sometimes, in a romcom drama, people want to see the couple intimate or lovey dovey scenes. But in this drama, it actually just tells its viewers- to know about yourself, give time to yourself, learn to lean to others, cope with your problems not alone, but with others support. It tells us the importance of being with people- how you affect others and how others affect your life. So, if you did not realize those, you probably not watch the drama.

Jezak Nov 20 2024 1:37 pm The only few reasons why I'm continuing this drama is because I love Kim Sejeong and was looking forward to seeing Jongwon's acting since I couldn't get into his other dramas. Also, Sejeong's and Jongwon's chemistry is great. I love love the build up of their relationship and it's cute - some scenes got me kicking my feet and giddy, but the rest of the story just seems so bland to me and I'm quite disappointed. Like I'm not really into the second lead couple and this is the first time since I've felt that way about a second lead couple especially since they are so cute lol I didn't expect much as the synopsis wasn't really intriguing to me to begin with, but I wish there was more of a story behind this drama. And I don't know. I kind of wish they didn't pull the trope of "I saved you years ago" and "I never stopped thinking about you since you saved me but I don't remember you physically". Please please do not hate me for saying these things. We are six episodes in and I'm hoping it gets better.
