When an unprecedented heinous criminal is released from prison, a public bounty with a payout of 20 billion won is offerred for his murder. Baek Joong-Sik (Cho Jin-Woong) is a detective, who must protect the killer from the citizens. Kim Guk-Ho (Yoo Jae-Myung) is the unprecedented heinous criminal and murderer. He is released from prison after serving 13 years. He has retained Lawyer Lee Sang-Bong (Kim Moo-Yul) as his legal representative. Meanwhile, Yoon Chang-Jae (Lee Kwang-Soo) is a butcher who attempts to recover his missing money.

Actor Lee Sun-Kyun was first cast to play Baek Joong-Sik, but he dropped out prior to filming any scenes due to a drug scandal in October, 2023.

dramalover Dec 21 2024 8:33 pm I had high hopes for this drama for the roulette concept. I thought this drama will at least similar to Vigilante where dark hero takes matter into his hand but throughout this drama, the police protect the criminal, even sacrificing themselves like whattt??? I can say that I am beyond frustrated throughout 3-8 episode. Also, is that Kim Gukho immortal and able to regenerate like deadpool or something? Why didn't he died already? I watch this and thought that there will be a few cases and roulette spin but none. Just Kim Gukho and stupid polices doing stupid unnecessary things. Not to mention the filler scenes. If I were to rate this drama, it would be 4/10. The acting was good though.

Lots of useless characters with unworthy fillers to keep the thrills going. some of the plots also lead nowhere, shouldve just focused on the main characters bc its interesting but ig they want to do it for the next season. This series reminds me a lot of the movie believer not just because the actor but also the story is so similar especially last couple episodes. I would rate it 3/5. Solid casts and acting, the story is nothing new and definitely needs to be improved.

April Aug 23 2024 9:46 am It is a better version of The Killing Vote, but a cheap version of Mouse. I was actually excited to watch No Way Out because of the stellar cast. I like complicated dramas but I don't like the storytelling. Also, some of the cast seems unnecessary like Mayor Ann and cohorts, the story could've go on w/o them. Imagine having an 8-ep drama with a filler stories like that. The roullette concept has a lot of potentials, if they only add some 'Through The Darkness' KDrama vibes, No Way Out could have been viral. Still nice to watch.

I didn't know that the late Lee Sun Kyun was the OG cast, but Choi Jin Woong did a very good job as a good/bad detective. I miss him like this, but we'll see him soon in Signal season 2. We miss you more, Lee Sunkyun, uri Ajhussi.

Lee kwang Soo has always been good, unlike other comments below me. Nope, he didn't improve, he's always been this good, but his character here gave him the opportunity to prove himself. Love him always, our Girin.

Kim Mooyul oppa shouldn't have died like that, I hate you, writernim.

I hope they would make season 2, it's unfair to end it the drama like that. They deserve season 2 and hope it's better.

I love how each character is being introduced in this drama that I couldn't find any flaw in it! Props to the directing crew as well!!

Two episodes left, don't know how the series will end... but I couldn't wait until next week to comment and recommend the drama here. I was at the edge of my seat for almost every episode (aired)!

I love all the casts selected, but the Man of the Match actor is Heo Dong-Won for me. I just like him So much! Best of the best of the best! South Korea is So lucky to have him. :D

Yes, it was unfortunate that the supposed main was dropped and later died, but to boycott the show because of the controversy which by the way has no direct relation with the show, is such childish. The support for the show and other actors is gone.
