Hae-Ra (Min Hyo-Rin) is 21-years-old. Her dream is to debut as a singer to let people know about her late father's musical compositions. Hae-Ra then takes part in the music TV contest program SuperstarK 2 with her childhood twin friends Se-Jong (Kwak Si-Yang) and Se-Chan (Jin Young).

They get through the local tryouts and are selected to take part in the program. At super week, Hae-Ra, Se-Jong and Se-Chan area teamed with Henry (Henry), Woo-Ri (Yoo Sung-Eun) and Jang Goon (Park Kwang-Sun), but due to unexpected incident they lose. They go back to their daily lives.

Several years later, through a shocking incident, the team gather again and make their debut.

kare_bear Mar 15 2019 9:37 am I totally agree with one of the commentor that the story is a bit cruel with Se Chan’s death then the stupid love triangle between brothers. It’s so ridiculous. I really enjoyed the musical but most of all I’m only watching this drama to support Jin Young and Henry. Not crazy about the girl that plays “Hera”... her acting is par. I think after watching “Moonlight Drawn By Clouds” that I’m so used with Jin Young’s chemistry with Kim Yoo Jung plus her acting ability is very diverse. Both played so well and immerse themselves into their characters that you could see and feel their chemistry as a couple.

Jansen Jan 10 2018 9:18 am A BIT OF SPOILER: I love how it was glee-like. Everything was GREAT! The OST and the actors were great. But the love triangle was a bit cruel ? and I can’t get over with Kang Se Chan’s death like seriously. I was happy with Ray being in love with Hera but Se Chan’s love was different. When Se Chan and Sejong was fighting over Hera I thought Se Chan was being too selfish and voted Sejong for Hera but when Ray and Sejong was fighting for Hera I liked Ray better but still ache for sejong’s love. ? Sometimes I wish she’ll chose Sejong over Ray and then sometimes I wish she’ll chose Ray over Sejong but in the end I still want her for KANG SE CHAN ?? His death is too cruel for me, I guess. I love sechan hehe

Puri Jan 04 2017 2:42 am @ImpactFeb12 The impact leader(Sa kijoon) is played by Kim Minjae He was a trainee of CJE&M but become an actor after this drama. You can see him in Twenty Again, Goblin, Romantic Doctor teacher Kim, Mari and I etc. He also did 2 soundtracks for his drama and just got new actor award at sbs. Other members are Park junhee (Jun of A.C.E), Kim Sehyoon (Wow of A.C.E) and Donghyun (A.C.E). They were 1 million dance studio crew, you can see them in Sing - Pentatonix choreography. They're now in a group A.C.E, have their own youtube channel releasing dance cover and sing cover videos, maybe debut soon.

jandi Aug 10 2015 8:08 pm I like the whole story line and the characters but that lead girl is really annoying because i can't ever see her being in a love triangle. When there's a love triangle with two good loking guys then the girl has to have at least one very noticible attraction. Either being pretty or having a cheerful attitude. She just didn't seem like the type to have two good looking guys after her. She didnt have the charm.

herbmom Jun 25 2015 10:24 pm I loved all the music in this drama. The opening and closing scenes were a bit "Glee-like," but the rest fit nicely into the flow of the story. Considering the inexperience of most of the cast, they did really well. There was a lot of energy and not a draggy moment. The ending left wide open the possibility of a sequel. Thanks for the fun!

After episode 2 Sechan died I though I didn't stop watched but when Ray came who made me attented again and I fall with him.Anyway I dislike the triangle love that made me bored I think the story should present the other side.I confess that I watched until the end cause Jinyoung and Henry I think they had a charming in acting and I love their voice The bad thing for me was the main leads didn't have a chemistry they looked like a cousin more than the lover.The best thing was music that they sang together. I think jinyoung and Min hyo Rin had a good voice and more emotion.

@Tohru, I agree with you. I don't think Se-Jong and Se-Chan are twins either. Their mother seems to have led a complicated life. I think Henry's look alike friend is Se-Chan's long lost twin and will become part of a troubling new love triangle between lead couple when he joins their SuperstarK group for their debut years later.

I believe that Kang se jong and Kang se chan werent brothers. Cuz since the first episode people are always saying that they just dont look like, ok, could be. But in the end of the first episode, Henry call someone and says that he meet someone just like that person and send a picture with the 3 of they.... Then Se chan dies and "he" appears pasing by his family without knowing.... The real twin maybe....
