Suk-Hun (Ryu Seung-Ryong) works a nondescript job as a bank security guard. One day, he suddenly gains psychokinesis powers. With that, he is able to control inanimate objects at will. Around this time, he receives a phone call from his estranged daughter Roo-Mi (Shim Eun-Kyung).

Roo-Mi has lived with her mother since Suk-Hun walked out on them. She now runs a fried chicken restaurant in a traditional market area. A construction company, controlled by the mafia, wants the restaurant and its neighbors out of there. Roo-Mi and the other tenants refuses. A confrontation takes place between the thugs and Roo-Mi and her mother. Roo-Mi calls her father to let her know what happened to her mother.

Suk-Hun believes he can make money by performing telekinetic tricks and wants to take care of Roo-Mi. He wants Roo-Mi to get out of the neighborhood where she is staying and move in with him, but she refuses. Can Suk-Hun save the neighborhood?

@WatchSukhumvitSwimmingOnYT Sep 24 2020 12:52 pm It's a good movie. So funny I really laughed so hard. If you want a good laugh you can watch this. Although the storyline is quite messy. The movie feels rush and lots of things left unanswered and scenes that made me go "huh?" "eh?!". I will score this 7/10 since it really made me laugh and the actors are so good that made me overlook the storyline. I recommend this movie.

1. They didnt got the justice for the Rumi's mother. 2. All the happenings, in the end they still didnt got the chance to protect their land. 3. I couldnt understand why they have to jail Rumi's father for 4 long years? For what? The police said they have to arrest him because he caught stealing in his old job. I mean yea, they could arrest him and all but why its has to be 4 years? Are they kidding me? Seriously writer-nim? 4. And whats the deal with that Jung Yu-Mi girl? Writer-nim should atleast clarify what happen with that girl. The writer-nim should atleast show us that Jung Yumi got her karma or they should atleast punish her with the LAW. 5. Lastly, I dont like the ending. The father showing off his powers again in public what if he got in scandal again or news? I mean its okay to show off his power but in private only with his daughter and their friends.

If im gonna rate this movie then it would be 3/10. Because the cast are good and their acting skills are on point. And the editing of the movie is also good. I guess the cinematic or cinegrapic are also good.

Its just that plot is kinda meeh.

P.s I didnt know that Pyschokineses also have the ability to fly, I thought its only have the ability to move things by thinking or by using mentality. Dang. I almost thought they are copying Super Man with just giving the protagonist spin off of having a daughter.

(Im not bashing the movie, because I know someone else gave their blood,sweat and tears to do their best for this movie and I appreciate that. I guess they just overlook that flaw of the movie. Its just I dislike it and im just pointing what I just thought.)

Ash Apr 28 2018 5:46 pm This was really good. Definitely a feel-good movie.

Great comedy. Sometimes the effects were a bit tacky and not as impressive but they made the movie even funnier.

A character that caught my eye was Director Hong. She was this kind of evil, funny character / cute psychopath. I think it was because she giggled at things we don't usually laugh at haha.

Also, the ending made me cry.
