Cha Woo-Sol ( Kim Min-Suk) was bullied by Bae Seok-Chan (Jung Won-Chang) during his middle school days. He finally felt a sense of relief when he enrolled at a different high school from Bae Seok-Chan, but Bae Seok-Chan transfers to the same high school that Cha Woo-Sol attends. Cha Woo-Sol is unable to take the bullying anymore and he attacks Bae Seok-Chan with a pen. Afterwards, Cha Woo-Sol is sentenced to 3 years in juvenile prison for the attack. Meanwhile, Bae Seok-Chan has to give up boxing because of his injuries from the pen attack. He wants to get revenge and waits for Cha Woo-Sol's release from juvenile prison.

At the juvenile prison, Cha Woo-Sol meets Jung Do-Hyun (Wi Ha-Joon), who is a former MMA champion. He is in prison for killing three people who killed his family. To survive in prison and whenever he meets Bae Seok-Chan again, Cha Woo-Sol asks Jung Do-Hyun to teach him how to fight.

Meong Dec 08 2021 9:04 am Woo sol is honestly pretty stupid. He just accept all the punches and kicks even though he already know how to fight. He doesn't use any strategy. I don't know how to fight but I know how to cheat. For the first fight with the buff big guy but I noticed that he doesn't flinch at all when receiving woo sol's punches. He should've look for something to use as a weapon and probably use a distraction tactic.

The 2nd guy is quick and aggressive. Instead of attacking back Woo Sol should be avoiding the attacks and focus on defending himself. Eventually that skinny guy would get tired and he could fight back easier. Cheating works too (like throwing sand to his eyes)

For the final fight, it's easy. Just make use of his half blind eye. Do lots of surprise attack from that side. The mafia bos could do it easily so it definitely works.

jin77 Nov 07 2021 4:08 am So here we go with another movie starring 30 year olds as high school students. The guy who plays the bully from Uncanny Counter is back, too. As... a high school bully again. Squid Game police officer is in here as an MMA fighter stuck in prison. He does a fine job, becoming a mentor to our main character and is the most believable one of the lot. Everyone else is a caricature. Up until the 40 or so minute mark not much happens. Then the main character gets into shape in record time flat. Being able to do 0 to ?? pullups in no time. Goes through all these training scenes. The usual character arcs we've seen before. Makes friends with the bullies. Gets out of prison and... seems to start walking home? Where are his parents? This all culminates in the final fight scene with the half blind bully in a leopard print shirt which basically consists of a bunch of sloppily thrown haymaker punches. What happened to the grappling seen in the previous fight? In fact, aside from length, the final fight is probably the worst in the film. Same punch, again and again. Do-Hyun would be so disappointed. Anyway. If you've got nothing else to watch you could do worse. I'll give it a 5.5/10.

Pros: Some fun bonding/buddy moments with bad guys becoming friends with the MC as he wins them over with his never give up attitude. A few chuckles here and there. A couple of decent fight scenes.

Cons: That last fight. A lot of the MC's acting was unconvincing like in the running scene. Could have done without the whole Seok-Chan storyline TBH. A little on the long side for a film like this (108min).

hanusha Jun 22 2021 1:40 am wow one of the best movies that saw in my entire life. it also have fun scenes that makes the movie fun. i love the chemsitry between woo sol and do hyun. also love the movie for the bullys acting because its not easy to make people to curse at a negative role. in that way he did a great job. i wish the is longer than because i want to see how woo sol live in society. director please take part two i will definitely will watch. my best wishes for every single actor who acted in this movie to get much more rewards for this movie. wow great movie. i would recommend everyone to watch this movie. 10/10 ??
