Yeo Mi-Ran (Kim Ok-Vin) is a rookie attorney at Gilmu Law Firm, which works primarily with the entertainment industry. She is not interested in having a romantic relationship and she hates to lose to a man in anything.

Nam Gang-Ho (Yoo Teo) is a top actor in the entertainment industry. He is the most popular actor in South Korea due to his handsome appearance, intelligence, and kindness. He is sought after to work in romantic movies, but he doesn't actually trust women.

Yeo Mi-Ran and Nam Gang-Ho, who both don’t believe in love, fall into a love battle.

Kdrama Llama Apr 26 2026 1:00 am I’ve watched this show three times now and each time I love it a bit more. It’s a punchier (literally!) and more grown up than lots of Kdrama romcoms and genuinely laugh out loud in places. Both leads are great, each sceptical if not outright hostile toward love for their own reasons (and each other) but then sparks fly… I always love to see a strong female lead and it’s harder to get stronger than Mi Ran, I highly recommend this one.

Gigi Apr 26 2024 12:26 pm I tried to watch it 3 times over the past year since it's release. The issue was that there was too much yapping before the leads even met. The 3rd time I decided to stick with it and give it at least 3 episodes but by the end of ep 2 I was hooked. What a great drama probably the only one that i have thoroughly enjoyed in the last 3 years.

Initially, I thought that the leading man is not the typical oppa actor that has a very good visual, but OMG! I was wrong! He is so great in acting, good looking and hot. This is a must watch.

This type of drama is the drama that I have been missing for so loooooong. This is the perfect romcom. The cast is perfect. Every single one of them can deliver the task. Teo and Ok Vin are the best! The chemistry is perfect. The storyline also perfect! Very gimmicky yet animated yet we don't lose the substance at all. Even the supporting role like Sung Ryoung and Joo Bin have their own definition of funny! For Ji Hoon and Won Hee, for sure there is no doubt about them. Good job!

I don't know why a woman has to be as strong if not stronger than a man, to drive better, to play pool better, to fight better, to be a lawyer, to sleep around to punish man, in order to be respected and loved by a good man.

For someone who enjoys Historical, Crime Thriller and Comedy, RomComs are not my thing anymore. I already left that genre a while now so they don't do much for my serotonine anymore but this one was different. It was gold. The chemistry between the two leads are so explosive. This was really addicting it made me feel giddy and happy which a kdrama rarely makes me.

My only disappointment is that it was tooo short ? I wish they made it into a 16ep it was sooo good.

the first episode was not catchy enough that's why it took me 2nd attempt to watch it again and hooked me and finished watching in just 1 day.

This drama is made for and will enjoy for matured people, in mid 20s to 40s of age, and professionals.

Teenagers and childlike will not enjoy this drama and will get bored easily so if you think is you're one of them, I suggest you look for another drama to watch.

I haven't enjoyed a rom com like this is a long while. Def recommend. The reconciliation/finak connection could have been fleshed out a bit better but, the male lead really does it for me.

So hooked with Love to Hate You. Actually never knew the lead actors and actress (except Go Won Hee in King The Land ) but their acting are soooooo good.

Yeo Mi Ran and Nam Kang Ho is the best couple. You have to watch it !!!!!! 10 out of 10

10/10 for this drama, the chemistry is such on point! The love scenes of the couple gave me butterflies. Didnt had that feeling since watching Nevertheless. Love the second leads too. Even love that idiot ex boyfriend of the female lead, he is funny lol. One of my fav dramas!

Yoo Teo is oozing with sex appeal! At first, I thought he is the villain of Vincenzo, he looks like Ok Taecyon. Kim Ji hoon is also charming and handsome and this drama made me want to watch their other projects.

Rc137 Mar 07 2023 3:28 pm Loved the show. Wish there was another 10 episodes. Want to see Mi-Ran beat up more bad guys. Only character I didn’t like was the obsessive fan leader. Wanted to “drop kick” her into the ocean. Kim Ok Vin is beautiful and looks much younger than her actual age. Her character (Yeo Mi-Ran) is a refreshing change from the usual weak female characters who always need to be rescued. Mi-Ran seemed to be having so much fun beating up bad guys. Even her ex-boyfriend helped to change people’s opinion about her “character”. The idea that women who have a lot of lovers (one at a time) are “sluts” while guys who have a lot of lovers is a “casanova” and no where near as shameful, is kind of sexists/discriminatory. Am about to re-watch the entire series.

duality Feb 26 2023 9:06 am I really enjoyed this series, mainly because Kim Ok Bin played her character so well. Had never really noticed her before, but everything about her was so appealing here. There were some silly moments in this show, typical Korean overacting, but also some poignant moments, so it balanced itself out. Overall, there are some shows where you can't wait to watch the next episode to see what happens, and others you just keep watching just to get it over with. This show was definitely the former. Watch it for Kim Ok Bin.

It's just great how they put all rom com materials into one : sassy girl, fake relationship, hate to love - without making it looked weird. Also the bromance is on another level, the chemistry is real. Definitely my top three throughout the history of korean rom coms.

I watched this not knowing both lead actor and actress, love yeo miran's character. They both amazing tho. Even though the plot is predictable, the story is unique, go watch it if you haven't!

Future kdrama star Feb 16 2023 5:03 pm Love x3! Netflix did it again with a great drama. Watch it now don't wait! This feels like the good dramas of the past. We need more stories like this aimed at adults. Talented cast, good acting and fun story.

The cast are good looking especially manly Do Won-Jun. Kim sung ryong is ageless beauty. Kim Ok-Vin is a strong comedic talent. She makes me laugh all the time. her law colleagues assumed her success was because her looks and seduction skills not because of talent.

The kiss allergy part reminds me of 'kiss sixth sense'. Sasaengs throwing eggs remind me of 'Her Private Life' LOL. Now I imagine what it's to date a famous Korean actor haha.

Why is the drama so short? It deserves 16 episodes.

Lately for me the kdramas have been overly cheesy, cringey, boring and flat. To come across this light hearted romcom with an absolute amazing cast was so refreshing! I absolutely loved the story of having a strong, independent female lead who doesn't give a fck! Wish they would adapt this to more storyline in kdramas.

Even wishing it was longer as I just absolutely loved the cast. The chemistry was to die for between both couples!! Made me smile from ear to ear. Hopefully I'll be able to find something like this soon again.

But I was surprised that the writer decided to dump all that and introduce a rather smart ML, FL and even really brilliant support characters too - the CEO, the roommate, the Unni and even the stunt director..seriously daebak. The two main leads' chemistry is off the chart. They are seriously underrated and need to be given more great projects like this. Not only the characters, the whole dynamic of the plot is also amazing, smooth and satisfying. The last time I felt like this is when I watched Our Beloved Summer. There is no frustrating scenes at all even when the FL tried to act as if she did not care. The fact that the ML caught up with all her act made him among the most brilliant character ever created in a kdrama. Seriously, I love everything abt this drama...i hope there is more like this..

If Na Eun is poison to Mi Ran, they would ended up separate, not becoming best friend and live together. Mi Ran always lead. She is wild and somehow it attract to only specific people like Na Eun or Kang Ho. Na Eun knows the best how Mi Ran had to suffer and what made her became who she is now. Mi Ran is the cure to Kang Ho burden and in the end, he became her cure as well. The situation seem to be balanced between 2 men and 2 women but it is actually not. Won Jun has more hope in love which can cure KH bc he knows the problem of KH is love and only when KH face it again, he can be cured. Mean while Na Eun is strongly affected by Mi Ran ideal that all men are bad and men are only for entertaining, which is why she always support the old MR's ideal even when MR has started to change her mind about men slowly after getting involve with KH! If you pay attention, Na Eun will never open her mind if MR doesn't tell her to believe in men again. That is why NE and WJ relationship always ends hopelessly everytime they meet, even when they are too opened for each other. WJ cares for KH too much that he forgot his feeling or his own relationship while NE is too shy to accept any new relationship bc MR always warn her about pretty men are bad! Mi Ran is the victim of the way we mistreat women and her heroine image gives hope and wake up all weaken women minds. It doesn't matter if you are a woman or man, demanding equality means you have to fight for it. As a man, I strongly respect a woman like Mi Ran who dares to give and take whatever life has. This is a unique drama that say the thing we couldn't say in real life that easily. I thought 10 episode is too short but turn out it is just perfect for such a meaningful drama!

Fifi Feb 12 2023 6:57 am Agree this is poor K.Drama. Why do they always portray young Korean women as stalkers or chasing after men like Na Eun who do not show any interest in them. This seems to be another K Drama trope. Waste of talent of two main leads . Main female lead not great in this one, very shouty. At least they are going away from 16 episode dramas to 8 or 10. I really prefer the more ensemble dramas like legal high or serious dramas. Korean romcoms seem very dated unlike European or English ones. At least in this one they did not go to school together which is another boy meets girl trope.

She have that "all men are trash" type while being morally grey herself. The ML on the other hand seems waayyy to nice. Plotline make sense tho. Quite enjoyable drama otherwise.
