People struggle to face 'that' which was freed from a seal.

Jin-Soo (Lee Sung-Min) is the only person who knows of that's existence. Detective Ho-Tae (Park Hae-Joon) chases for the truth in a bizarre murder case. Aeran (Kim You-Jung) is a girl with mysterious energy. Cheong-Seok (Nam Da-Reum) is a boy who chases that with Jin-Soo.

hanaasinflower Aug 08 2025 2:43 am I actually wanted to give this a chance despite a lot of people saying it's bad. Unfortunately it's true that it's bad. If you're used to good exorcism korean movies like The Wailing, The Closet, Exhuma, Metamorphosis, you'll be disappointed. This movie wants to make a twist but the story itself is flawed, the flow is unnatural, too many holes, the horror part is barely there most of the plot is them running and chasing and honestly the detective plays no significant role at all. He just...kicked off like that... I thought he was gonna contribute something at least. Even The Divine Fury, Dark Nuns and Devils Stay were so much better although they also have some flaws unlike the former 4 i mentioned. And what's up with the ending? Doesn't make sense. If you still wanna watch it, go on but I'd suggest watch it at 1.5x and 2.0x pacing

vitz Oct 30 2022 1:11 am this is a good horror movie because it's not scary and doesn't count on jump scares. It's more of a religious action movie with slice of life and comedy

It's like combination of Venom (how the demon jumped from 1 human to another), Infinity War (when the demon visited for the final showdown to get the monk, very Thanos-like), Suicide Squad (man was given vision of a kid he has to kill).

Nan DaReum kept making me laugh, he is so good.

LeeSungMin & Kim Yoo Jung are undoubtedly good. Those 3 are so good by acting without talking.

Park Se Hyun can totally do that creepy acting, even without FX.

the plot twist is genius. As a Buddhist, this is a healing movie, not draining. I feel inspired.

perfect ending shot, with Kim Yoo Jung. Golden Slumber-like, but with deep meaning.

free from curse, free from suffering.

I don't see the character development for the main character and it's hard to understand the plot. Overall, not recommended to watch this movie and it's such a waste of time. If you didn't trust me, just watch on yourself and you will be regretted just like me lol

Ok can someone explain to me how the boy in the beginning couldn’t open the “box” with the black eye but then towards the end he suddenly can?? It’s explained that he’s the actual successor isn’t of the old man but why couldn’t he open it in the first place???

Lezch Jul 03 2021 6:33 pm I really love the movie and also the twist. The casts barely speak but they perfectly convey the message. Despite of a short moment between Kim Yoo Jung and Nam Da Reum, you can feel the emotion and the chemistry of the two. Superb acting I must say especially to Kim Yoo Jung and to think she only uses her eyes and also her facial expression. What a great actress she is!!!!

YuemikoSuzuhara Jul 02 2021 12:25 pm This movie is good but a lots of dead scene and some cuts however the message they want to give to us, The eyes represent to our emotions when we are facing difficulties(hell) in our life that needed a lot of time to resolve(nirvana). In today explanation, The people should become more strong and courage to survive against the pandemic so that one day we can reach the time that pandemic does not exist anymore.

For KJY even do you have less appearance in this movie still you did a good job in expressing your feelings using your face and body, and I looking forward to your another movie this year fighting.
