Movie revolves around three people: Detective Ji-Wook (Cha Seung-Won), who wants to be a woman, a mysterious woman named Jang-Mi (Esom), who helps Ji-Wook and Heo-Gon (Oh Jung-Se)

Monette Sep 25 2022 7:16 am Cha Seung Won is such a great great great actor! I have been a super fan after watching korean Odyssey and been searching for his movies and get to watch him... I just couldn't remember the title, i think it was done 2011, he is so handsome and a really good actor.

No wonder he can also do women role.

ESOM always do her role very well. She is one of unbelievable Korean actress for me. She is so professional.

I suddenly get emotional when i see in this movie miss Lei lee. It reminded me of korean Odyssey which i always look forward on every shot or scene she has with mr. Cha.

The story of the movie, super loved it! It is very interesting.

Kristi Mar 28 2022 4:47 am I had no big expectations and I probably wasn't really in the mood either for this movie, so maybe this is why I liked it a lot. Especially the soundtracks. At the very end. The children actors did also a great job and Cha Seung-Won of course. His acting was very subtle. Definitely a movie that is worth watching.

at first this movie doesn't had that much impact on me, but I've to admit after the death of his detective friend, this movie become quite interesting, i think it's because of the amazing fighting scene, and cha seung won is a great actor (and he's hot too), it's wonderful how he can portray the character of a man who looks so manly from the outside, but actually is so feminine inside, and I lowkey ship him with esom although I know they can't really end up together

And the 2nd movie is Man on high heels. I enjoyed watching every of his movie. And looking forward to watching more of his drama and movie.

Dysphoria Dec 13 2017 2:13 pm This movie...had such a sad ending. The moment the taxi driver asked if he should wait, because she left the bag there, I knew she wasn't going to get the surgery. It sucks, the look on her face at the end was the face of unhappiness, as she had to suppress herself again, forever. The flashbacks of her childhood killed me. When she told the boy that they were sick, then suddenly she was moving to Seol. I wasn't surprised that he killed himself, but seeing it happen after that kiss, and that I love you was so heart-shattering, and painful. It was beautiful, especially the scene where she carved a ring mark on her finger, I loved that scene the most, but I have to admit some parts of the movie was meh. Regardless it was a nice movie, I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a crime movie with a touch of LGBTQ.

noe May 14 2017 10:52 am This movie was beautiful, raw and heartbreaking. I just wish she could've went with the whole surgery but that dumb a** gang just had to ruin everything. Every flashback she had broke my heart. If only they could've stayed strong and could've stayed together. I just wish for Yoon Ji-wook to be happy and finally be herself. This movie made me cry like a baby. I really want a second one. "Women on High Heels" would be a great tittle for the second movie, implying that she finally went with the surgeries she wished to have. Yoon deserves all the happiness in the world and I feel inlove with this character.

C0urtn3y Sep 29 2016 11:29 pm I think the part at the end, with the focus on the men and women's shoes on the card, trading out the cigarrette for the flavored water drink (something self-destructive and more Tough-Image for something healthy and commonly associated with women) and more than anything the pinky raise at the end, mean she can't suppress who she is, and will go through with it anyway. She just thought she wouldn't until that moment.
