Lee Soon-Jae (Lee Soon-Jae) is a respected actor, with a long acting career. He gets involved in an incident on the set of a drama series. Due to the incident, he is criticized by the public as being a bully. Lee Soon-Jae is in shock from the situation and runs away to Geoje Island. There, he meets a dog named Sophie, who is a former police dog. One day, Sophie’s barking starts to sound like the human language to only Lee Soon-Jae. Since then, Lee Soon-Jae and Sophie investigate incidents that occur in the neighborhood.

Light, comedic, warmth and everything you're looking for in a drama. All the crime investigation are the best. Must watch! I think people don't watch because the center casts are the veterans but all of them is excellent!

Dog knows everything Jan 15 2025 1:50 pm Just finished binge watching all 12 episodes. Lee Soon Jae actor won the Daesang at KBS Drama Awards 2024 and in episode 12, he couldn’t win the Daesang, but Sophie was throwing tantrum over it and LSJ got touched by it. ??? He might not be able to receive the Daesang Award in drama, but it happened in real life. ?? LSJ Actor nim is definitely the nation’s grandpa. Please be healthy.

Goldenseries Dec 27 2024 5:34 pm What a beautifully written golden show performed by seasoned actors we all know and love. This is a simple, solve-a-case series that’s great if you just want to relax while watching. Though mysteries are solved, it’s not dark at all. Love seeing the camaraderie between the oroshins and learning about each of their back stories. Most specifically love Sophie who did all the leg work! Pun intended! Pleasant support role characters from the police. The detectives. Yeah you know both of them. You’re not a madman fan if you haven’t watched several dramas with them in it! Waiting for season 2!

dont be cheated by the low rating. it was low bcoz koreans n alot netizens usually only care about who the actors/actresses is n how beautiful they look even if plot or acting is not up to par. they dun care the plot of the drama.

I am often amazed that Korean drama watchers do not appreciate good dramas while us international kdrama addicts do. The actors are good even if the leads are in their golden years. Thank God it was in the top 20 drama list At Least! Loved DKE so much! Fighting!

Lee Soon-Jae is such a great actor and timeless! I love his circle of friends (Kim Yong-geon, Ye Soo-jung, Lim Chae-mu, and Song Ok-suk). I wish we all had those kinds of friends in our lives. The family too were so funny! This drama made me laugh, cry, and almost peed on my pants and mostly gave me a new perspective on life. The casting was perfect! Everyone did great! To the writer, Byeon Sook-Kyeong, and director Kim Yoo-Jin, thank you for the wonderful drama,! Lee Soon-Jae and Sophie are the best! This drama will forever be in my heart! They Deserve An Award For This Comforting Drama. Season 2 Is A Must! Hoping To See Sophie And Lee Soon-Jae Soon!

this is a type of drama where each episode has a different case, so new characters always appear.

Hoosierr Oct 17 2024 4:47 am This has been my comfort drama even though they solve murders on the side i like veteran actors and elderly life being on the focus but why they had to go and make one of the friends group a murder victim too. Seriously why kdramas got so obsessed w serial killer side plot in these last years. I was happy that it was finally that trend was fading away and we were getting stress free,fun shows but i get my hopes high for nothing.
