Kim Sa-Ra (Lee Ji-Ah) was the daughter-in-law of the biggest law firm in South Korea, but she was betrayed by her husband and lost everything. After that, she began working as a divorce troubleshooter. She is now the team leader at divorce settlement office Solution. She punishes bad spouses and provides help for those that finds themselves in unfair divorce situations. She works with Dong Gi-Jun (Kang Ki-Young). He is Kim Sa-Ra’s business partner and an advisory lawyer at Solution. Before coming to Solution, he was an excellent prosecutor who had the nickname of "German Shepherd." He picked up the nickname because of his persistence and keen intuition, but Dong Gi-Jun left the prosecutors' office for an unknown reason. Kim Sa-Ra and Dong Gi-Jun work together for people who are suffering through difficult divorces.

Liz Oct 26 2025 12:55 pm The show started campy but watchable, then quickly deteriorated into absurd hate-watch fodder, as main characters speedran bad decisions. So many major plot points were forced by someone being unnecessarily Stupid™️.

Like wtf was with the FL meeting the villain (people really need to not call him SML, he literally got her fraudulently jailed, killed her mother, alienated her from and restricted her access to her own son, violently strangled her and only stopped when his assistant stepped in, and kidnapped her) alone in a boarded up house in an abandoned area because she thought her being the mother of his child meant he would never hurt her? And what was with them letting the part timer pack up on her own knowing she was being stalked by a violent ex, leading to her death? Wtf was that part where the driver guy escaped because the whole Solution team took their eyes off him to tend to the FL? And what was with the FL being alone in a car with the villain after he literally strangled her and they were obviously at odds?

Anyway Kang Ki-young is very handsome and perfectly suited to be a ML. I hope he gets more ML roles in dramas that aren’t horribly written and a waste of his great acting, brilliant comedic timing, kind face, cute smile, and nice frame.

He's too good and nuanced an actor for a caricature role.

Oh Min Suk as No Yool Sung. . Ex husband of Fl is unironically carrying the show for me. His acting is the best by far. Which is amazing for a character that on paper doesn't seem that interesting. But he's definitely the best. It also helps that find him incredibly handsome. Not going to lie, watching this for him now. He has chemistry with Fl !

.The way he plays the character makes you feel that there is more to him than meets the eye.

surely he is trash and hot and still Has feelings for Fl.

Indeed, he isn't the normal villain .

Cathy Mar 27 2024 10:22 pm I watched it hoping it would get better but it really didn't. The main characters did not have a real connection with each other, It was all just acting. The ex-husband had more of a connection with Ji Ah than the lawyer. The writing was very bad. It's difficult to watch a show where every witness dies right before they're willing to give testimony. It just extended this drama.. The main actors are great actors but this writing and director let them down. And by the way, the end was really dumb with her speech about not needing to be committed in marriage when she's with the person she's loved for years.

I really wanted to like this because it's full of actors that I like.

It started out really good. The first 2 episodes were exciting. Then, it slowly went downhill each episode.

I think they wasted the abilities of the talented actors - even those playing minor roles.

I think the script was lazy and full of cliche. It also did not make any room for the cast to showcase their full abilities.

Kels M Mar 09 2024 1:20 am I had such high hopes for this k drama however it was so disappointing and everytime I thought it was going to get better it got worst. The main actress was so gullible and literally kept putting herself in the most dangerous situations, claiming that she would be fine. It literally made me so mad the entire series. The story took too many stupid turns that never made any sense. I agree with the previous notes. The mom didn’t have to die, she didn’t have to move into the house and remarry him. And the part that really pissed me off was at the end when they finally found the girl witness that was around her mom or helping her mom at the restaurant before she passed away literally sent her back to her house for a stalker to kill her and did not accompany her or go with her to pack her bags it really pissed me off like I was so angry at that part because it made absolutely no sense. He was a prosecutor. She was an attorney like it was as if all intelligence just went out the window, the writing was awful, I would not recommend watching the show. Please do not waste your time. Unfortunately I can’t get my time back.

I feel this is such a shame, was expecting many cases like early episode. Only end up with disappointment. The show actually has good potential only if they didn't focus on the revenge thing. It was not necessary killing the mother.

Kee Mar 07 2024 5:59 am On episode 11, and they lose gong deuk gu because kang bom left the hospital room after a fire alarm sounded which we all now was obviously staged. For some reason after that, they are able to keep up with the car that has Gong deuk gu but they miss him again after Kang bom fought the driver of the other car, getting wounded in the process. Writing sucks. The solution team was made to look like clowns during the last few episodes because of scenes stupid writer decided to create. I had high hopes for this because of Kang Ki young. Why, writer nim, why?

K Feb 29 2024 11:07 pm Problem with kdramas is most of them inject impossibly stupid scenes two or three episodes before the last. Here, they all know that the material witness' life is in danger with noh yul seong and a stalker pursuing her but the two supposed smart lawyers left her to fend for herself. They promised to protect her but it's clear that was merely lip service. This is frustrating.

I love both the female and male leads—Lee Ji Ah is just amazing, especially with her innocent yet smart character. And can we talk about Kang Ki Young? He's been great since "Extraordinary." Their chemistry is so good on screen. Plus, Lee Ji Ah's stylish casual look is just stunning! Her fashion choices really add to her character's charm. The storyline is super entertaining, delving into different reasons for divorce. Totally hooked on it!

jilcel Feb 17 2024 10:06 pm Whatever others say about this series, we still find Queen of Divorce exciting, enjoyable and refreshing to watch. I find Lee Ji-Ah so pretty with her innocent looking. The role fits her and she has chemistry with Kang Ki-Young, whom we are so glad to see him finally landing in a male lead role. We are stuck and love this series! Always looking forward to a happy ending for both of them!

Hi Feb 12 2024 8:24 pm My opinion for this drama: - First, I'm really excited coz finally Kang Ki-Young is the ML, he nailed the character and did really great job in funny scenes, love that. - Second, for Lee Ji-Ah (FL), I think she's not quite good for making funny scenes so when the comedic scene appears it's so awkward to watch it. - Lastly, the plot and storyline quite boring (I've watched till ep.4), I just keep watching coz Kang Ki-Young.

Hope the plot and storyline will be better for the next episodes. For now, I just give it 4/10. Sorry.

I love that she’s not perfect and has her strengths and her flaws, makes her so much more relatable. And the team dynamics are entertaining and engaging. He may not be the typical cute male lead but he is a versatile actor and can act, more than those cute MLs whose only claim to fame is their physical looks. I also thought he was only good for comedy roles but started taking him seriously in Uncanny Counter. Fighting, KKY!
