Their job is to collect and analyze CCTV footage, smartphones, computers, and profile criminals. They provide specialized support for the First Criminal Investigation Division. The SSBC violent crimes unit includes Shuji Igaki ([[Nao Omori]]) and Rintaro Nanami ([[Masaki Aiba]]). Shuji Igaki is a former detective from the First Investigative Division, but he was transferred three years ago after causing trouble there. He has a strong sense of justice and he is not happy with his work in the SSBC violent crimes unit, where he can't handcuff or directly interrogate criminals. His ex-wife is Haruka Aoyagi ([[Nao Matsushita]]), who is the chief of the First Criminal Investigation Division. Rintaro Nanami previously worked for a foreign securities company, before transferring to the National Police Agency. He is intelligent and very good with numbers.
