Yong Su-Jeong (Uhm Hyun-Kyung) has a refreshing charm which helps her popularity as a home shopping host. She has many females fans from various age ranges due to her honest and straightforward personality. Things are different in her personal life. When she likes a man, she can't express her feelings or even make eye contact with him. Her romantic life is difficult because of this. She has a crush on Joo Woo-Jin (Kwon Hwa-Woon), who is the successor of the Masung Group.

Yeo Ui-Joo (Seo Jun-Young) is a hard working man, despite his poor family background. He lives with his intellectually disabled mother. His priority is to make his mother happy. One day, he suddenly learns that he is the second grandson of the Masung Group and is stunned by the news. He gets involved with Yong Su-Jeong.

Meanwhile, Choi Hye-Ra (Lim Ju-Eun) is selfish and full of greed. If she wants something, she will try to get it no matter what and if anyone comes in her way, she will try to mercilessly punish them.

So many loose ends that were never tied, and they never even specified how much time passed from eps 123 and 124. Weeks? Months? It's just a confusing mess. I was greatly disappointed.

There are just some episodes that didn’t need to be included. As for the ending, it’s fine that Eui-joo didn’t die. What left me wanting more, though, is that I was hoping the villains would have faced a stronger sense of karma.

And one more thing, I am wondering why everyone can easily go inside WooJin's house - like Jang Myung Chul and Choi Hyera. Is there no security or they dont lock their doors and gate? I remembered when they kicked Choi Hyera and she is begging everyone to let her go inside the house.

Ain't it ridiculous that Yeo Ui-Joo's mother can walk into Yong Su-Jeong's house freely?

In almost all the K-dramas I have been watching, people can just walk into someone's house freely!

For most the series she just ties her hair back and her pony tail is dry and uneven, hair strands flap arouond and her skin is pale and pasty and shines. What happened to this actress and is there not someone on the set that can powder the shine off her face and give her a hair style?

sf Sep 06 2024 2:01 am I stopped to watch this series frequently, I watch only from time to time but, I still feel antipathy toward Su-Jeong. This character tells me nothing, and the actress the same. I do not remember a drama where I was fond of her. I have the same opinion as Kyung-Hwa about her: "without Kelly Jung, Su Jeong is nobody". This character shows us only that she has a big mouth and conceits unsustained by anything.

In my opinion:

1)Yong Su-Jeong (SJ) accepting and allowing Kim Mi-Yeon to live in her house is ridiculous. Kim Mi-Yeon caused her to rot in jail previously.

2) I can understand Yeo Ui-Joo is helping SJ but his character remains status quo!

3) Joo Woo-Jin has an unhappy and depressing life. His grandmother and stepmother are controlling him. as such, the storyline about his life remains status quo! Therefore, maybe his character in the drama should be written off, IF he suddenly commits suicide due to depression and pressures, would his grandmother, biological brother and mother, and SJ regret losing someone dear to them?

wnnny Aug 15 2024 11:54 pm @sf, I share your view, Joo Woo-Jin taking all the 'punches', as such, just writes off his character e.g. he commits suicide due to the pressure and stress from his grandmother (the Chairwoman), his stepmother and Choi Hye-Ra.

Yeo Ui-Joo: his character is inconsistent, obsessive, and possessive, therefore, not suitable as a boyfriend or spouse for Yong Su-Jeong. For example, in episode 64, he has no right to demand that Yong Su-Jeong tell or share with him about her revenge plans against Choi Hye-Ra. Hmm, the cat is out i.e. now Yeo Ui-Joo said to Yong Su-Jong that he has been missing her every day...come on, I hope the storyline will not pair Yong Su-Jeong with her so-called brother Yeo Ui-Joo!

The grandmother (chairwoman): she is vicious, she is the cause of the mess in the family but nobody telling her off.

sf Aug 15 2024 2:06 am Joo Woo-Jin takes all the punches in this drama. I started to look at this drama for actor Seo Jun-Young, but his character here is too inconsistent and artificially created just to be there. I like Kwon Hwa-Woon's character more and hope he will become stronger.

wnnny Aug 13 2024 9:31 pm In Ep 61, ain't it ridiculous that Yong SuJeong's friend (Ki Mi-Yeon) suddenly volunteers to tell her that she saw Joo WooJin with her adoptive father? Her friend framed her previously so I hope Yong SuJeong will check how her adoptive father died (her adoptive father was 'kicked' to death at the staircase by Choi HyeRa and Joo WooJin's stepmother.

Ain't weird that YongSuJeong or Yeo EuJoo did not pursue the CCTV recordings of YongSuJeong's adoptive father/YeoEuJoo's mother's accident and YongSujeong's adoptive father's death at Masung Co's staircase.

Suddenly, in Ep 62 about one year later. I can understand YongSuJeong might has joined Kelly Jung and away for one year, but nobody pursues the CCTV recordings at that material times.

I hope YongSuJeong must not forgive her friend Ki MiYeon also.

I also like the lead actor thou I don’t like his hair style but I like him for he’s sincere and he cares for his leading lady & friend. CEO and her great granddaughter are my favorite everyone is either a mess or plain evil. I know is going to get better now it usually works that way.

I also don’t care for the Su Yeong she never showed strong feelings for Wo Jin and after she learned Yeo Ui was rich she developed feeling for him. Terrible drama I wasted my time watching it

Mona Aug 09 2024 1:56 pm I dislike Yeo Ui, He is always acting like a fool and he also look like one with the ugly hairdo that looks like a broccoli style, he acts so childish always violent. He is a lot younger than the Su Jeong, so immature, I hope the writers do pair them as couple or I will cringe. I like Woo Jin though he has no personality to stand up to the mom and grandma but is think he is a much better match for SJ. I get so annoyed that Yeo Ui mom is getting so much attention, why do they need to watch her while she sleeps, she is not sick, she had a panic attack, that is so stupid, treating like a little kid. Also the scene where SJ begged them to stay when they want to leave was so stupid, making her held unto his mom leg was way to much and demeaning what a stupid scene Writers be smart and do not pair Yeo Ui w SJ that will be the worst.

Max Aug 05 2024 8:49 pm I'm half way through the realised episodes and I can clearly see the agenda against Woo Jin which makes no sense. Don't get me wrong I like Eui Joo but not for SJ. I see him more as her little brother evidenced by the fact that she was there at his birth and promised to protect him. Its cosmic. To go from there to a romantic situation at all is antithetical and makes no sense.

I found it difficult to believe that SJ and her dad didn't have a relationship with Eui Joo and his mom given the circumstances of how they met.

I think reconciling the siblings should be SJ and WJ romantically, while Eui Joo is their younger brother. I don't currently like the direction the story is going and I hope the writers are reading the viewers response and taking a hint.

Also, why over a hundred episodes? This story can be wrapped in much less than that. The longer the duration the stupider it gets.

Mike Jul 29 2024 2:11 pm I’m thinking her real dad is still alive and will be helping her with the revenge; especially when he finds out that his wife killed by Hye-ra and fortune stolen by her mom. He probably changed his name and found his daughter and probably wealthy and powerful. Woojin is going to be blackmailed for killing Su-Jung dad, which his stepmother killed. Eventually the mother and 2 siblings will reunite and help Se-Jung take hye-ra and her family down, which they can have a family reunion in prison.

This drama is illogical both the victims and the villains are both stoopid. Not even yong su jeong or Yeo Ui-joo fight for justice successfully ? I feel like they're prolonging the whole thing to keep us asking for more But I'll painstakingly finish the whole drama since I'm eager to see Choi hye-ra and her mom suffer!!

Brenda Jul 28 2024 4:46 am Why did they kill the character of Yong Jang-Won? I was hoping he will be the one to reveal the evil deeds of Choi Hye-Ra, Min Kyung-Hwa, Jang Myung-Chul and Geum Han-Yang. But who knows, maybe he is really not dead and somebody saved and hid him somewhere. And he will return when he is all well and help Yong Su-Jeong. I also think Yong Su-Jeong will really cut ties with Yeo Ui-Joo and this time she will plan for her revenge.

The writer appears to make Joo Woo-Jin a bad guy, I think Joo-Win should be given a new 'leaf' with his siblings Yeo Ui-Joo and his biological mother, the grandmother and stepmother have been dictating his whole life.

The storyline appears like the 'Third Marriage'!!!

@ Ahjumma, I am disappointed that Choi Hye-Ra and her father got away with their evil acts so it appears Su-Jeong is stupid.

I will try to watch this drama again only if Su-Jeong gets smarter.

I also hope Su-Jeong understands Woo-Jin's predicaments as his life is controlled and determined by his grandmother and stepmother because I remember Yeo Ui-Joo is also controlled by his grandmother! So if Su-Jeong cannot understand Woo-Jin, then she is biased.

I think the total episode is 120 (correct me if I am wrong), and if the drama is now into ep 55 (according to info on this webpage), when Su-Jeong gets smarter, when Woo-Jin finds out his stepmother and Choi Hye-Ra-s father killed his biological mother, when Su-Jeong locates all her late mother's paintings and property...these are the issues need to be resolved. Additionally, there may be other issues that I have not yet discovered as I have stopped watching the drama.

Woo Jin needs to be assertive and firm, when is he going to find out his stepmother and Mr Jang killed his biological mother?

I bet Ui-Joo will show his greed soon like seeking power and control or claiming his mother's inheritance rights fighting with his own brother for Su Jeong..if so, he has been pretending all along..

Additionally, Choi Hye Ra and her mother need to be punished by Su Jeong...

I think Woo-Jin and Ui-Joo are biological siblings (same parents i.e. Ui-Joo gave birth to Woo Jin too, I think it was the grandmother /Chairman separated Woo-Jin and his biological mother that is Ui-Joo's mother). sopha Jul 12 2024 11:27 pm I'm going to stop watching it from ep 50 since I'm aware that storyline now is pushing Su-Jeong to be made with Yeo Ui-Joo. I like Yeo Ui-Joo as a good man to help Su-Jeong all along. However, personally I feel sympathy for Woo-Jin more as they both loved each other for a very long time. But the writer has different idea and changed the character of Woo-Jin to be not a good man, easily manipulated by his mother, and easily taken by Choi Hye when drunk to sleep together without any notice (that's very bad for man to be raped a woman without consciousness)...etc. That's a drama. I just wish the writer can write something that make up Su-Jeong and Woo Jin together at the end of the drama. Woo Jin's mother will go to prison and Woojin forgave his mother. Finally, Woojin really acknowledged Yeo Ui-Joo as his half-brother and they both like each other and lead the company together...and Yeo Ui-Joo respects and regards Su-Jeong as his older sister for the sake of happy ending together. This is my selfish wish.

If Su-Jeong and her adoptive father helped Yeo Ui-Joo's mother during labouring to give birth to Yeo Ui-Joo implying Su-Jeong and Yeo Ui-Joo are meant to be together is a weird storyline.

Su-Jeong treats Yeo Ui-Joo like her own sibling all along so it is really weird that she now likes him.

Su-Jeong likes Woo-Jin all along.

I think the Chairwoman (grandmother) is a wicked and vicious person, she must not put Yeo Ui-Joo to join the company, and Yeo Ui-Joo can decline the chairwoman's offer. In fact, he has ulterior motives that is to be close to SU-Jeong.

Anyway, I hope Su-Jeong remains strong and steadfast about her feelings for Woo-Jin. If not, Woo-Jin should take his daughter Ha Min (I am wondering whether Ha Min is really Woo-Jin's biological daughter) to move overseas.

Choi Hye/Na Ra: I think she is obsessed with Woo-Jin, and that is not love, she could have mental problem.

Gb Jul 11 2024 1:20 am For me this drama is not that bad.I think su jeong and ui joo are meant to be since from the beginning of the drama when su jeong adapted father and su jeong help ui joo mother giving birth. It seems like ui joo already have feelings for su jeong before woojin does. Woo jin is too much in wanting su jeong that he even want to rush the marriage without su jeong's approval. Woo jin also is so easy to be manipulate from his mother. Hye ra too is just crazy as her mother.I also remember that in past past ep. Woo jin and hyera had a night together look like something happen to them that hyera may get pregnant and woo jin will have no choice but to marry hye ra. So for me I think su jeong and ui joo are the match.

He is a good person but his mom changed him to be ambitious and cold and his grandma is trying to sow discord between him and his brother. Ui-Joo and Woojin should both be smart and try to talk it out and see what each one wants. But in the end this a drama and things will go the way the writer wants it

The storyline is ridiculous that no one knew Na/Hye-ra's mother was hiding in Su-Jeong's adoptive father's bedroom!!!!!

The chairwoman (both Woo-Jin and Ui-Joo's grandmother) is not a good person, still has not learned her lesson, and her family is in a mess due to her fault. Now she is insinuating a fight between the two brothers which seems the same storyline I watched in other dramas... come on. So I hope the two brothers teamed up to kick out Woo-Jin's stepmother.

Also, the same storyline I watched in other dramas that siblings chasing the same girl!!!!! come on

I am rooting for Woo-Jin and Su-Jeong together because Woo-Jin really needs a live not controlled by his stepmother and grandmother; also his daughter Ha-Min needs a mother who can understand a child’s needs, so Su-Jeong fits in perfectly for Woo-Jin; also Su-Jeong has feeling for Woo-Jin at the outset.

As for Ui-Joo, Su-Jeong’s friend Mi-Yeon is suitable for Ui-Joo.

I get the feeling that Ui-Joo knew Woo-Jin is related to him (siblings relationship) and don’t want to lose out to his brother Woo-Jin so competing for affection from Su-Jeong..that affection is not love .
