She decides to take revenge on Munenori Higashijuujo. Kayoko stays at the Hilltop Hotel in Tokyo and learns that Munenori Higashijuujo is staying on the floor above her room. With the help of Editor Endo, who was her senior during their university days, she interrupts Munenori Higashijuujo's writing and succeeds in making him miss his deadline. But, Kayoko's actions leads to further misfortune and hardship for herself. The fate of Kayoko and Munenori Higashijuujo progresses in a direction that no one could have predicted.
