Ryu Sung-Joon (TaecYeon), Ryu Sung-Hoon (Ha Seok-Jin) and Jo Eun-Ki (Jung Eun-Ji) become involved in a serial murder case involving jury members as the victims. These three individuals try to uncover the truth behind the deaths.

Ryu Sung-Joon works as an enthusiastic detective. He is always determined to catch the bad guys. Due to his determination, his arrest rate is always among the top for detectives. His older brother is Ryu Sung-Hoon and he works as a judge. Ryu Sung-Hoon is a perfectionist and smart enough to have passed the bar exam with the top score and graduated at the top of his class at the Judicial Research and Training Institute. He is an upright man who does his best to impart a fair judgement. Jo Eun-Ki (Jung Eun-Ji) works as a social worker. She has a warm heart and is full of justice. She always puts people first and tries to be a reliable guardian to children who come from poor backgrounds.

I don’t even get some murder on people who have nothing to do with the stuff and in the end never killed the real culprit of their youth. Overall the drama is ok but they could’ve do something much better imo

This show makes me wonder if the police are incompetent on Korea (will do some research). The acting was good but some characters were stupidly written as brainless or something. 6/10

Spoiler Im so sad that RSH manipulate RSJ. Like SJ really look up to his hyung but his hyung manipulatw him every since he is a child, i get it that his birth parents is bad, but so sad for SJ. He yearns for his brother attention eversince the beginning. I get it whatever the children at hope orphanage is so bad but I can't help but feel so sad for SJ, its not even his fault

So far it is quite good however i dont like how the author kind of forcing on the idea where 'ryu sung joon' is the killer at first. Like it's so stupid how he went to the motel to go to the kid, but then another officer found him holding the knife. Ryu sung joon' shudve immediately call the police or ambulance when he found the victim instead of holding the knife.

Tyff Jul 18 2023 6:21 am Quickly became my 2nd favorite drama of all time after Vincenzo, and I’ve watched soooo many murder-genre dramas since 2010! The acting, lighting, plot twists, CHEF’S KISS. Originally watched for Taec, but fell in love with Park Ji Bin (& Ha Seokjin hehe). Loved that it was fast paced and filled with thrillers from the start. Usually it takes forever for a drama to get to the climax.

SPOILER: Looks like Charles suicided by consuming puffer fish, which he foreshadowed at the beginning of the drama. Since he was so loyal to Yoon Jae as he was willing to take his blame and die for him, I wish they showed us more regarding their relationship... like how they met.

I’m guessing Yoon Jae’s first kill was number 12, since that’s what he told the mother. Also because there’s nothing else that reveal what happened to him. He showed such psychotic behavior even as a child. It would’ve nice if they had shown his childhood before he got to the church so we could see how psychotic he was. They really messed with the wrong kid lol

I had a dilemma whether I wanted Yoon Jae to live or not. It sucks that he was imprisoned as a child and his fate didn’t seem to change. Although dying does free him from the past. As for Baek, WHYYY did he have to also die?! They should’ve sent him to a worse prison and have him go through what he did to the kids as he rot in jail

Sung Hoon really tried his best to be unbiased as he decided to make Sung Jun his puppet ever since he was a kid. It shows that he never thought of them as family and was willing to manipulate them to his advantage. The fact that the revenge was so meticulously planned foreshadowed who he was because when he was number 11, he was also the one that planned their escape.

Overall, Blind was a 10/10 and deserves so much recognition.

K-Ri Jun 12 2023 3:37 am I've seen other dramas of Ha Seok-Jin but was never this drawn to his character as I am on this one. But the plot was so weak, 2 victims related to the jury is enough to start the investigation on how they sorted the jury from the beginning, even more so if there are more than 2. But the tension and the chemistry between the brothers was so endearing to watch that's why I stayed until the end. The push and pull brotherly relationship between the 2 main characters made me stay until the end. Touché!

I was drawn to other artist as well... Most especially Jung Yoon Jae, like seriously... Does it make sense, that I like him so much and his death really pained me.. Of course.. He has to die, that's always the end of a serial killer.. Knowing this fact doesn't make it hurt anyless. Those children really don't deserve all that hardships, torture,and pain that was inflicted on them.. Been an orphan is not a crime..they could have lived a very good life if they were raised in a good environment... Life is so unfair to them... I especially pitied Yoon jung, who was killed after been trampled on.... Sung joon loves his brother and yearn for his affection.. I hated sung hoon for ignoring him.. But I hated him more for turning his back on Yoon jae, after all, he was the one who initiated the plan for the revenge.. It's so painful watching Yoon jae asking him if he has really betrayed him.. Yoon jae is really ruthless towards his enemies and they really deserves it.. I just couldn't hate him... He's a boy who value family and he's really loving, if his sister wasn't killed , he wouldn't have turned to a serial killer and sung hoon later realises how much he cared about him after his death, he even attempted suicide and so, I stopped hating him... They were all victims of circumstances ... The twist, suspense and everything about the drama is incredible... Much love!!

i kind of figured out who the culprits are as soon as they were shown. i expected Taecyeon to be the villain but disappointing. i thought it'd be good if the plot is like Mouse. also, i do not agree of yuna's death. she don't deserve it just because of the villain's childishness of being afraid of getting abandoned. it did intrigued me at first to mid but from episode 10, i just forced myself to sit through it in case there's a plot twist. nope, it's as i had predicted.

Taecyeon and all the cast are superb. Every episode is worth watching. I hope Ok Taecyeon and Ha Seok jin deserves an award for their portrayal. The kids are all good and promising actor.

I could never forgive such evil done to precious kids like that,they deserve all the pain they can get. hihihello Oct 30 2022 9:30 am Despite all of the mysteries, it's so heartbreaking to think about what happened to the boys. Hope Welfare Center really destroyed their life. It's so sad that ever since then, they plotted for revenge and carried it out thoroughly until they're adults. Probably, for their whole life they just want those people who tormented them to suffer.

I have some guesses on how it's going to be for the upcoming videos, but I'll just wait and see what happens.

I always love thriller dramas/movies and this is one of the best I've watched so far. Enjoy the acting, plot, and story.

And some dramas do reveal them a bit early too then you have the whole escaping from the justice ministry transport or just escaping from jail and then you have to catch them again.

He is obviously 11 and noticed that something is up to but I don't think so he is part of this conspiracy, he probably want to stop his ex friends. Murderer(s) is/are definitely psychopath, notice that they target only young women for now. Also judge doesn't select candidate for jurors, probably some computer program does so definitely one of suspect is Jung In-Sung (IT) and probably Charles has something to do with murders as well (revenge for his brother?). This actor already played to big roles to just act sashimi guy. Skeleton is probably of 13 sister. But who actually is Ryu Sung-Joon? Screenwriter try to play Mouse but twists are pretty cheap. Plus Ryu Sung-Joon seems to be pretty dumb,lol.

At first, I thought Sungjoon has multiple personality disorder because the voice of the culprit on the phone sounds like Taecyeon. But it was proven that he is not the killer. And now, I'm suspecting Sunghoon since he has pictures of the remaining jurors. And his actions were like he's the killer. But then again reading the theories here, I would like to believe Sunghoon is innocent. I don't wanna be fooled by tvn again. And it seems like Insung and Sunghoon know each other the way they stared at each other in the funeral imo. And btw, this is my first time commenting on asianwiki. Blind made me do this. Omg I can't wait for this drama to finish so my questions will be answered already.

Me Oct 16 2022 9:02 am My conclusion after watching episode 10. No 11 is Ryu Sung Hoon (Gabriel). No 12 is Charles. No 11 and 12 are brothers. The killer is Yoon Jae which is no 13, and he is Jung In Sung.

purpli Oct 16 2022 8:47 am Conclusion after watching ep 10: 1. As I suspected earlier, Sung Hoon is the one adopted. Last few episodes have been hinting at him as no 11 (e.g. him glaring at Chief Yeom at the scene where Mr. Baek tried to strangle Sung Joon, coz Chief Yeom threw him back to Hope orphanage aft his attempt to escape). But I think he is not he killer. He knows no.12 or 13 is the killer but he doesn't know who is no.12 or 13 as a grown-up, cos the last time he saw him was like 20 yrs ago. That's why he has been snooping ard, trying to figure out who is no.12 or 13 so that he can stop him from killing further. 2. In Seong should be no.12 and the child of the restaurant owner. He was described as a small child, and he himself said he was adopted by US parents. It could be that he was lost as a child, found by the corrupt Chief Yeom and sold (?) to Hope orphanage? He seems to be conveniently everywhere e.g. the engineer fixing the computer network at the hospital where Eun Ki's mom works, fixing Eun Ki's laptop. It all seems like he were spying/ gathering info before attacking his victims. 3. As someone mentioned below. no.24 could be the long lost brother of the sashimi restaurant owner, who died after being hit by car trying to escape Hope orphanage

4. Sung Joon's memory that suddenly came back to him.. about the playground.. I think Yoon Jae is alive, he was the hooded figure talking to little Sung Joon at the playground, sitting on a see saw, after Sung Joon fell off and lost his memory. The playground incident where Yoon Jae fell off, i suspect he was pushed down by Yoon Jae from behind. Sung Hoon saw it and tried to stop Yoon Jae that's why he shouted Yoon Jae's name. Sung Hoon felt guilty but I think he doesn't want to stop Yoon Jae's killing because he understands Yoon Jae's pain during those days in Hope Orphanage.

5. The sushi restaurant owner could be Yoon Jae. But if he is, then his lost brother shouldn't be no.24 coz Yoon Jae only had a sister. 6. Somehow I still think Yoon Jae is the killer. If we look at the latest episode, it look like there are 2 people at the welfare hous guys!!!!!! The one who wear mask and not (Sunghoon).... Why I intrigued the culprit is inseong (he could be boy no.12)? And also, Inseong could be Charles' lost brother (but he is too young to be Charles' older brother, maybe the comment below me is right, the no.24 is actually Charles' older brother) or the son of lady who owned the restaurant?

I intrigued the Hyung is also know what way this case will go, and he just try to confirm it before report it (I hope sooo). since He also involved in the case.

Dang the connection between all the juror. Speechless. The scenario is wow.

I think the killer was already confirmed to be at the back of the courtroom or the spectator area during the trial. Tae-Ho kinda confirmed that cause he looked distressed when he looked at the gallery. So it shouldn't be Sung-Hoon.

It won't makes sense if the killer is Sung-Hoon. Because of the killer, his trial was ruined. Why Would He Ruin His Own Trial? He's supposed to be perfectionist. He also seems serious about finding the culprit lol, so it's weird if he's the killer unless he has some kind of multiple personality disorder.

Dang ep 9 got me. Shocked. Confused. Like what? It really like rope tangled to each other, everyone blame it to YoonJae or some serial killer, while imo, some cases is just meet each other with orher case and have different killer and their own reason too.

Cant belive the mad dog could killed or beat people so hard like that for his daughter, but He beat and killed other kids so easily.

But, I still intrigued by Sungjoon as a killer too, since in ep9 they show the killer shoes and it similar to Sungjum's shoes.

She has access to medical tools because she worked at hospital such as syringes, medicines, drugs, poisons, scalpel the killer weapon to kill all those women. Even shes a nurse, she must have training using scalpel & can cut like a surgeons. 3. Man Chun got killed in the hospital. No one will suspect her because shes a nurse can move/visit hospitals. The biggest clue, she known about Man Chun sick son because shes a nurse. So she hired him to kidnapped Crazy Dog daughter. but maybe accidentally got Eunki involved when Man Chun take her hostage. So she kill him+wife+son to get the usb. Man Chun wife seem to know her before she got stabbed(she had the same scar as those dead women) 4. She also killed choi the taxi driver. 5. She know all the kids suffering in hope centre. Maybe something happen to 11, 12, 13(accident). Joon must be 13. 6. At hope centre, she must have seen no.7 meeting Crazy Dog & betrayals the other kids. So she told them about no.7 betrayal. In ep8 at hope centre gate, Joon remembered conversation between two young kids(could be 12 & 13) 7. She capture & used 7 to reveal Joon sister body(She must have witness what happen to Joon sister) & make Hope Centre known. It seem they will be an investigation on Hope centre soon by the police. By doing this, the police chief wrong doing can be exposed too. 8. In ep8, the killer body is short+small like her & she injected drug in Joon to make him hallucinating..

Still i dont know if Eunki Mom working alone or she had help? My guess, she had help from 12(in sung) & his mom the restaurant owner. 10. I think 11 is 12 real brothers died in accident(accident still ????). In sung the hacker help her killing 7 to avenge his brother 11 dead. In sung Nom the restaurant owner could be involved too to avenge her son dead. In a conversation with Joon in the hospital,.Joon said she should find her "Lost Son" instead of visiting him. Joon restaurant owner mom is the one who told joon about Cocomom dead similar to Crazy Dog daughter dead. That's how Joon involved with Cocomom case. Eunki mom killed Crazy Dog daughter & gave her ear ring to Insung Mom & she put it in Joon car to framed him. Maybe Joon falk off button too from his jacket. Maybe she continues putting drugs in joon food so joon keep having memories problem.

11 could be hoon who still alive that is assumed dead by 12(in sung} & his mom. Maybe 11 think his brother 12 died too. Maybe those scar on his arm is self inflicted or cause in the accident?? I think 11 or hoon could be doing his own investigation toward Crazy Dog/police chief/his mom. He is not the bad guy..

Eunki Mom Motive : Still Unknown. But my guess, she lost Eunki father(her love one). Maybe Joon Mom, Crazy Dog & Police chief killed him. So she plotting to ruin & revenge on Joon Mom, Crazy Dog, Police Chief & relatives. Same goes for insung & his Mom revenge for 11 dead.

His character is described as "...an enthusiastic detective. always determined to catch the bad guys. due to his determination, his arrest rate is always among the top for detectives."

But 8 episodes in and it's so frustrating to see his character like a dumb detective. is it just me? i really don't like how his character can't have a logical reasoning, is messy, doesn't plan, careless for a detective.

It shows a photo of Yoon Jae's sister, Yoon Jae and another boy (no 13?), all wearing the same necklace. The two brothers will appear later in another episode, but I do not remember which one is.

There are two killers lol it sounds funny but get this, sometimes the killer looks bigger and sometimes smaller so my guess would be the boy in glasses and prosecutor but I still have my doubts on Charles. Yoona was tailing prosecutor, she might have seen something and definitely that yellow thing under the shoe is a clue. When detective put the clock clue together why did his brother not allow him to go to Mr Chas house? He might have been trying to stop him from finding the truth. But I’m 100% sure detective isn’t the killer

hihihello Oct 08 2022 12:57 pm I'm on episode 6 and this is my theory: - Ahn Tae Ho is for sure #7 - In Seong can be the lost son of the restaurant the policemen usually go to (still not sure about his number but I'm pretty sure he was one of the 5 boys) - #13 is most likely Seung Jun since his noona passed away (probably because of something bad done by Chief Yeom - like rape/murder) - #11 and #12 might be brothers for real, since they seemed pretty close.

Looking forward to the upcoming episodes. This drama is very interesting so far!

Like get this between Charles and the little guy in glasses what if one of them is number 13 who is the real culprit. What if our officer isn’t yoon Jae but thinks he is real name is yoon Jae. It doesn’t make sense to remember only “your name” and not other memories. What if yoon Jae is his little brother?

Pimil Oct 02 2022 5:24 pm Everyone forgot that in 1st and 5th EP there was suggestion that 11 and 12 are brothers. Now obviously 11 is SH and 13 is SJ.

My theory is like that. Both SH and SJ escaped and were adopted together. But both of them lost memories of childhood. SH almost completely, SJ partially what explains his aggressive behaviour. Meanwhile 12 escaped alone. He still remembered everything and ended up in worse family (my theory). He was the same young as SJ so his mentality as well could be much more influenced by this camp. So he became psychopath. He must be angry that his brother forgot about him and left with 13. So he come up with plan on revenge on everyone with the court (SH) and police (SJ). That would explain similarities between SH and murderer. They are brothers so it is natural that both of them like to carve. Maybe their biological father was carpenter? I think 12 is Jung In-Sung or Charles. But for some reason I think they can work together. Maybe one of them can be child who was still not shown. Jung In-Sung probably hacked court (he is probably IT engineer) and this way manipulate list of candidate for jurors. I think SH has amnesia because if he knew all about revenge, he would have to work with his own biological brother. Because he couldn't kill Jung Man-Chun as he witnessed his falling. I could see him do solo vendetta but I doubt that he could as well involve his brother who couldn't even be brought up with him because of circumstances. At the same time he clearly didn't recognize other people involved in the camp although he was clearly older kid. So if he is not mastermind there is only one explanation: amnesia. Also I kind feel that SJ hides his memories about time before adoption although he clearly knows that they were together with SH. I think SH could have brain injury what can be explanation of his cold behaviour.

purpli Sep 27 2022 11:30 pm (Spoiler Alert) After watching ep 4. This is my theory: I think the Judge Sung Hoon is the adopted kid from Hope shelter. His mother recognizes Mr. Baek on TV, so maybe she adopted a kid from there. When the judge was almost stabbed by Jung Manchun inside the court, he didn't even flinch, same stare as the young boy from Hope (who didn't flinch when his friend was beaten by taxi driver Choi and when fellow boy's blood was dripping on his face through the floor gap). The judge must have given the necklace to detective Sung Joon when they were young. The judge was also picking the juror himself via balloting, which he could have rigged.

mia Sep 27 2022 1:30 am okay so at first I denied the idea that judge ryu might have committed the murders but reading the comments made me realize the subtle hints I missed in the previous episodes like the perfectly aligned water bottles in the fridge and his skillful wood sculpting that could imply he knows his way around knives or sharp objects, plus the number 13 assigned to yoon jae which was apparently the same number judge ryu had chosen among the jury, and in the drama poster judge ryu has his hand on sung joon's neck while eunki's hand is as if it's covering sung joon's eyes which could possibly mean that sung joon is blind to the truth that his older brother is manipulating him lol is it too far-fetched? i don't know anymore this is so intriguing to watch I can't wait for the next episodes!!

And if you have watched mouse, you maybe remember how they make everyone think Yohan was the psycho when it was actually Bareum. The main suspect is SungJoon but SungHoon is suspicious also. First, he is the perfect one. Remember when SungJoon opened the refrigerator and commented on SungHoon that he was flawless, one characteristic of a psycho. Another one, I got it from Anna in the comment bellow, that YoonJae, one of the kid in the beginning of the series, had the number of 13. Apparantly he was the one behind all of this, with the intention to take revenge. And remember when the judge, SungHoon, chose the number of the jury and he picked number 13 and the look on him was kinda meaningful at the time. And the jury with number 13 happened to be Jo Eun Ki who later became the hostage. Well nothing's confirmed yet. But personally I think the judge is the most suspicious one here. Till now. Excited to see the next ep.

Anna Sep 19 2022 3:10 pm The kids has numbers, 24 that was hit & killed by the car, 7 killed from the guards, 11 that went back for Yoon Jae and 13- Yoon Jae. The jackets they were wearing had the logo on the back "Hopeful - 희망의" as much as I got. I'm getting the same feeling as last year tvN's Awaken but without the supernatural and the judge brother might be the killer, we saw him handel the knife very well with the wooden sculpture. Also No 12 was trapped with the animal foot-hold trap but not dead, he might appear later... Also 11- Ryu Sung-Hoon probably told No 12 to go and find "Mother". And the mother - Na Kuk-Hee was surprised when she sow on the news briefly Baek Moon-Kang so maybe they are connected or she was the leader of Hopeful organization.
