Ae-Ran (Lee Joo-Sil) has run her side dish store for the past 30 years. Her son is Gyu-Hyun (Lee Jong-Hyuk), but they don't get along. Gyu-Hyun works part-time as a lecturer. One day, Ae-Ran starts to show symptoms of Alzheimer's disease and they quickly get worse. Ae-Ran decides to close her side dish store, because of her health. Around this time, Gyu-Hyun discovers a recipe notebook belonging to his mother.
