JJJ Feb 19 2019 4:18 am I watched this drama when it was first run in USA. It was my first time watching a Korean drama as I do not speak Korean. I liked it well enough that I now seek out Korean dramas to watch. I am hooked. Thank God for subtitles.

abnormal anthony Feb 28 2017 12:23 am I have to admit that I have watched the show more than twice, but I still can't get over the ending. I'd give the writer props for trying to make the story original but there were far too many foreseen outcome for him to have chosen the worst out of the lot. Other than that I have to say, I was pretty shocked as to how good the show was. The character development was quite nice and they had it set up so that it was easy to remember the cast. Also, the music was quite enjoyable. There were points where I started crying even after watching that same part more than twice, over all it was splendid.

s May 27 2016 9:58 am For a daily kdrama, this is a decent one. Good enough to leave it on and do multi-task. There are few things that's very irritating, seen them in all kdrama but more noticeable in this drama - maybe because this has over 120 eps. 1) Don't people lock their doors anymore? People just walk right in - even at so call mansions. This is S. Korea where NOBODY leaves their house unlock. 2) Can Koreans live without the use of cellphone for 5 minutes? This drama really shows how prevalent the cellphones are in Korea - every 2 minutes someone's phone is ringing. 2.5) Do Smartphones still have way of ripping them apart to take out the battery very easily? Why can users simply turnoff the power if they don't want to answer a call? So dramatic - wait, it is a drama. 3) How much tea/coffee/juice do Koreans drink daily? It seems like every time a conversation needs to take a place, bang! There it is - tea/coffee/juice front of them. and finally, it seem like all secrets are spilled by someone overhearing them - why aren't people more aware of their surroundings? Are Koreans wearing shoes with very soft sole?

kinggofing Feb 27 2016 1:40 am Guys don't complain that the drama was too long and was just dragged out. If you know your korean dramas, you should know that this one was a daily (mon to fri) drama, basically it was there to fill up a time slot. Daily drama's for broadcasting stations doesn't really have to be at the same caliber as a twice per week drama, although i do agree that the show could have been written better.

Stupid character development, it is just a story yes, but should be a little realistic. I don't understand why developing a bad character for Goenuk. lukewarm Ms Lee should end up with strong determine Goenuk, not Mr.Kim as he is already strong, should stay with fragile mind Ji Young following her father generosity catering for abandoned children and just watching ep 84, I cannot stand it anymore, it is not what I want. Spoiling Mr. Kim character. The children are all very good. Mr. Baek and the family is more realistic., so is the bro in wheel chair. And if this end with Mr. Kim & Ms. Lee, it must been the silliest and stupid drama that I am watching. What a disappointment. Then too much of the cruelmother soap opera, it should be revolve more on Mr. Kim & the kids and Mr. Baek family. If I am the one in power, I will never hire the writer again, ever for writing stupid story. If the ending is different from what is going on now, my thousand apologies. Will see just the last ep. 124. The in between before ending does not worth my time - developing love intrest between Mr.Kim & Ms. Lee is not realistic at all for me. Hahahahaha my 20 million won worth of opinion

Captain Obvious Jun 01 2013 2:03 pm I like this show and the kids are great, but whomever the "genius" was who hired on Choi Yung-joon ('Ji-young') and then demoted her character to second string needs to turn in their union card! :( Mr. Kim already had the perfect girl for him. The one who had loved him for years and is also pretty, kind and played by a fine actress. She appears very quickly in the opening credits, but has been 'persona non-grata' for the last thirty episodes...

Geonuk is?she always runs to give him a shoulder to cry on...silly gal..but still love her lots and her father..what can i say seems the mail " guide to parenthood" got lost on its way cause it clearly states ur offsprings are noy an extention of u( then again all parents never got thers).Mr.Kim is such a heartwarming story u jst got to love ko joo sung..the boy is just so funny.

This guy ringing the Doorbell, He checks out the girls pantie, A hot tempered P.E. teacher gets pissed off, Two airheads Fighting over a cup. Now it's getting to be like a Melo Drama, His Ex a gold digger shows up, All is Serious now, Oh who is his Mom. This so-called ???? Really Tanks!!!! Producers, Director, Sreenwriters/Scripwriters, Go find another job, Or Go Back to Entertainment 101!!!!!!!
