School teachers have a hard time to discipline students and they often don’t even have the will to do so. The authority of the teachers in the classroom breaks down and this causes serious social issues. The National Assembly and the Minister of Education passes the Amendment to the Act on the Protection of Teachers' Rights. With the passage of the law, a new government organization, the Educational Rights Protection Bureau, is formed. Na Hwa-Jin (Kim Moo-Yul) belongs to the Educational Rights Protection Bureau. He is sent to a problem school as a supervisor. There, he can educate the students without any restrictions or limitations.

Whether a villain or a good guy, he is great. I do prefer him as the lead good guy and comedy film. Also Lee Sung Min is excellent actor,practically watch all of his films, never a doubt, this actor can make you laugh or cry, just love helm.

But because of the advertisement where RAP's mouth was full of curses from HanRim, I was immediately tempted and I just finished watching it. It's really cool. I think their revenge method is based on the perpetrator's actions towards the victim. So the agents did the same thing. Wow. I was emotional, laughing, wincing, and also really sad. I really can't wait for season 2 to arrive. My rate is 10/10

After watching The WONDERfools I didn't think I'd see another blockbuster drama that soon, but then I decided to watch Teach you a lesson. And wow, yeah, I love it! I know it's based on reality, but I often wondered how close to reality it really is, for example: a place like the tech school. Was that really close to reality? I'd really like to know :o

But what I want to say after watching this drama: I would Love to have such a system change here, too. An official organization that cleans up all of these problems and helps to make students go back to training their brains. We clearly need more brain when I look at the world ...

Fantastic cast, acting, writing, camera work, humor and everything else. It's never boring, it was a pleasure to watch! And I also Love revenge dramas, I'm such a fan of Mobeomtaeksi already :)

I really want to see a 2nd season!

Oh, and also: if there's S2, give Jin Ki-joo more screen time, I love her screaming ;)

Can you imagine all the secrets she kept from her own fiance, just to protect GC. This was the only complaint I have. I mean, I guess we have to thank her naivety because if she used her brain in the first place, we wouldn't get the ERPB.

This has extra context that kept our interest throughout each episode, well written, and lots of good humor, too. Each of the four ERPB group characters role were excellent, and deserve an AWARD. I applaud the writers, staff and all involved in the making these drama. Thank you and sequels should be something to look forward to.

All the actors did a great job and a very convincing performance bravooo. Everyone should watch it fun with a Strong message. Honestly very good editing, music, colours, the choice of the actors and all the stories are insane and mind blowing, I cried of the idea that this is happening in our real world !! It makes it more killing. Strong series don’t stop making masterpieces like this !!

If you loved 'Taxi Driver' but want something grittier and completely focused on the dark realities of the school system, 'Teach You a Lesson' is a must-watch. It handles incredibly heavy, realistic topics like intense university entrance stress, schoolyard extortion, drugs, and bullying with unmatched intensity. Each of the 10 episodes has a distinct, powerful feel, and the pacing is brilliant. The chemistry between the four main leads—Na Hwa-jin, Im Han-rim, Bong Geun-dae, and Minister Choi—is fantastic. Perfect balance of high-stakes action, social commentary, and a touch of grounded romance. Highly recommended!

One of the biggest challenges teachers face is parents... the kids they raise and the way they treat teachers when the teachers address the behaviors of the kids they raised. Having watched dramas with South Korean parents and their kids abusing teachers or teachers having no power to defend themselves against unjustified behaviors of students and the parents who raised them, this drama was soo cathartic. Hands down the best drama of 2026.

I love dramas like this and Taxi Driver (all 3 seasons). I hope to see more.

Unique amd really discussed about several topics which are hidden in education industry . Yp this is fiction and really not all bad kids are extreme specially those ep 2 fighters really got some sense they really didnt became criminals . Issues about teens who are manipulators,killers,bullies, drug lords, teacher harassers and teachers who abuse their power,parents who make teachers and child's life hell

The storyline was engaging from beginning to end, with the perfect mix of action, suspense, humor, and emotion. What I appreciated most was that it wasn't just entertaining—it also carried important messages and lessons that made the story feel meaningful. The characters were well developed, the performances were fantastic, and the dialogue felt natural and refreshing. There were so many moments that were oddly satisfying to watch, and every episode left me wanting more. It's rare to find a show that keeps you invested while also making you laugh and reflect at the same time. Definitely one of my favorite Netflix watches lately. Now I'm crossing my fingers for a Season 2 because this is a story I'd love to continue following.

Best Kdrama of 2026 Jun 06 2026 11:04 am This is one of the best Kdrama I've watched this year 2026. The topic was so heavy and heartbreaking and I always cried at the end of each episodes but still I enjoyed watching this series, it was perfectly blended with funny, action, great acting, heavy scenes and heartfelt scenes with this Kdrama. It deserves all the love, recognitions and awards soon in. Kdrama acting in Korea.

squi Jun 06 2026 7:44 am @Saranghae tbh, i don't even think this drama is exaggerated. Teachers are cowards. And this does happen in real life. There are alot of bullying cases in korea, especially with hierarchy involved, and even worse than this. Maybe you should do more research.

My only disappointment is that Hwa jin should've beaten up that gyu cheol even more in the climax than just the whole circle kind of emotional moment with forgiveness again. I would've crashed out if minister Choi hadn't come to gyu cheol and list out his crimes and saying he'll never step foot into the school again
