Olya_1004 Jul 22 2026 4:56 am I'm still midway through episode 6 but I've been saying from the start that the video of him "ordering" the kidnapping seems like a deepfake. He was initially shown too drunk to even keep his eyes open but in the car he suddenly makes such a request? Yeah sure. I'm shocked the cops never thought to check the validity of an anonymous tip.

The other thing is that the kidnappers definitely have a personal connection to both the main guy and the cop whose wife was killed. If money was truly the goal,they would have taken it straight away. My theory initially was that the kidnapper had a wife who was treated by the doctor and died but with episode 6 I'm wondering if maybe it was a child instead? Although it doesn't explain why he needs to kill wives.

I think the drama started off slowly but it's been unraveling and getting more interesting,the wife definitely made some dumb choices,like sticking around to try and save the other woman. I'm also not a huge fan of that actress so far. In the past 6 months she's been in at least 3 dramas I've watched, this one,Gold Land and the ex of ML in Doctor on the edge. In all of these I don't like her characters.

There are a lot of things unclear even though we are on the halfway point. The craziness, Unpredictability scenes, love it

Wonderwhy Jul 20 2026 8:43 pm @hih, i support u! how i wish the kidnapper kill the wife, she's damn annoying, especially when her husband here to save her, and she keep on with tat stupid face, just becoz of that freaking video, another things with @tofu, what's wrong wit u?! what is the reason for her to act the way she act?! she's just a selfish wife who cant accept own wrong/failure and place all blame on her husband! there's no explaination on how her daughter get into accident to begin with and u blame ur husband for not picking up phone, for doing operation in another end?! for own doing?! crazy!

BUT, i do think, the story will show more on what happen to their daughter, maybe there's connection wit the kidnapper husband and wife!

John Abraham Jul 20 2026 1:59 pm At the end of episode 5, the kidnapped wife should have killed the kidnapper when he was temporarily blinded by dust in his eyes. I would have killed the kidnapper when I had a chance, instead of running away from him. Similary at the end of ep 6, he should have keep htting the kidnapper in he head till he died The KIDNAPPER HAS STUPID PLOT ARMOUR

Steve Jul 15 2026 5:55 pm AI is not a good look here. The first scene where the doctor and his wife are climbing the cliff looks ridiculously fake. Either the production staff did not put in the effort to make it look real or AI simply is not ready. A plea to the K-Drama industry: don't use AI until it's good enough to fool the viewer.

TBH, The Husband fares better now than Agent Kim Reactivated. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of both actors but the latter seems to be written better than the latter albeit the latter shows us exciting action scenes.

Kdrama lover Jul 11 2026 6:26 pm The wife is unreasonable. The death of their daughter is not her husband's fault, treating him as though he caused her death. He was in the OR operating on someone. She should understand being in the hospital business that he cannot just abandon a patient mid operation. She blamed him, yet wouldn't grant him a divorce. What an annoying character. I have no sympathy for her and her parents. The writer thinks viewers are stupid.

I'll watch ep 4 and if the story doesn't improve, I'll drop it.

Namkoong Min never disappoints and I must say Kim Dae Myung is as versatile as versatility can be. Hmmmm...there are 2 new villains on the block, jim and Choo Sang Wook of Agent Kim Reactivated.

Yes, this may be similar with Gone Girl but my curiosity with the character of Park Byung Eun.

Can't wait for the next episodes!!!!
