A journey, spanning more than 10 years and set in Berlin, Seoul, and Tokyo, takes place for Ryu Narutaki (Hayato Isomura) and Hwang Yo-Han (TaecYeon), as they heal and comfort each other wounds.

Ryu Narutaki unintentionally ruined his best friend’s life. He left Japan and wanders abroad. He nearly loses his life in a strange country, but he is saved by Korean boxer Hwang Yo-Han. They both carry their own deep wounds within their minds. Gradually, they both feel a connection between two lonely souls. This is their once in a lifetime encounter. Through their encounter, they realize the meaning of love and life. They want to live together, but they face a brutal fate.

The script is deep with a light touch, the direction clearly with a pro at the helm. The actors are skilled, courageous and the most sensitive and nuanced of human beings. Experience this drama yourself. It’s very special. Yes, award worthy at every level. It’s a WOW!

Anni May 18 2026 5:42 pm Great drama! I’ve always liked Taecyeon’s acting. Loved the storyline and the meaning behind the drama. Just couldn’t believe a white truck had to make an appearance…I thought that was only in Kdramas and not Jdramas!!

Kdrama Paksanim May 15 2026 5:29 am I don’t know why but I don’t feel this is a bl. Is Ryu asexual and does he keep gay gays as his best friends. There’s a lot of emotional intimacy but it feels like Arato and Yohan were in a jaksarang with Ryu and Ryu was their best friend. It was sad it was touching. Beautiful drama about a homosocial relationship between a gay guy and a guy whose sexuality was never defined and their relationship was never defined. When I think of bl I think of heesu in class 2 but not this.

I hope bigoted people will overcome their narrow mindsets and find to enjoy the series for what it is, its story and the acting. Acknowledging the effort and work put into this project.
