Kang Dan-Sim (Lim Ji-Yeon) is known as Joseon's most villainous femme fatale and she is given poison by law. When she awakens, she finds herself in the year 2026 and in the body of Shin Seo-Ri, who works as an unknown actress.

Cha Se-Kye (Heo Nam-Jun) is the only heir to Chail Group, which is one of the leading companies in South Korea. He is notorious for his arrogant and rude behavior. One day, he is confronted by Shin Seo-Ri. She dressed like a shaman and acts like she is from the Joseon era.

sari Jun 05 2026 11:55 am I'm kinda sad that I'm not that excited about this drama anymore, it was still good, currently at episode 9, but my interest slowly declined, I just can't pinpoint why. Maybe coz of the hype, like everyone saying it's so great, I mean it's good, I guess I should've consumed less fan related and behind the scene content. I guess I'm also nitpicking the past plot, I've read theories that it could still be Seo Ri and she just remembered her past life as Dan Sin, just as how Se Gye's having dreams from the past, but still, like it wasn't Seo Ri that's he's in love with. they do have chemistry but I'm not convinced by how their love story is written, especially Seo ri's. I feel like she's more in love with the past, and is just trying to cease the life she's living now, and that's understandable, the past is her life. unlike se gye who's really in love with her. see, if I was really into the drama, like I was from the start, I wouldn't be nitpicking plot holes or just anything about it coz I'd just accept and enjoy the story. Anyways, I just want to rant here. I'm still going to watch it though hopefully it won't get worse (in my perspective of course not specifically the drama itself). Wonder how will they end it, is it reincarnation, she's seori after all or will she go back in the past at the end and of course seori's personality isn't the same, so will se gye fall for seo ri regardless.

Noona Jun 01 2026 4:44 pm The male lead character is getting on my nerves. He’s so arrogant and acts all high and mighty and untouchable yet he misses every scheme his cousin sets for him. What’s the point of constantly acting you have everything in hand when you have nothing in hand? It makes enjoying this drama a little hard. He’s unlikable. the plot is also very predictable. No surprises. I’m kinda bored.

OK Jun 01 2026 1:27 am To me, there's only one lead, Seo-Ri, with many supporting characters who make her role even more significant. Maybe Se-Gye will step up mid way to take control of the plot and counter his cousin's schemes and reverse Dan Sim's fate now and in the past.

exe May 31 2026 12:09 pm What a good drama, really good, I think this is one of the best romcom I've watched after Business Proposal and Mr Queen (minus the ending). Chemistries are so good, not only between Lim Jiyeon and Heo Namjun, but also both of them to all of the supporting characters. Comedy are so fresh, they used some of well known romance trope and creativily twisting it into some fresh directions. Everyone r so good at acting, so smooth, nobody feels forced. And oh man, Jang Seung Jo is amazing, I wish Mundo have more screen time and doing more sick deeds that he is already. I live his acting.

On twt ive seen people calling Heo Namjun as ugly ML but he is so heartbreaking ??? Ive been so crazy about Cha Segye he is so good.

Also, it is very rare to find a ML that looking so manly and masculine. Most of Kdrama ML so muka jambu.

I am really looking foward to the weekends so I can forget about everything and just have fun for 2 hours. The cast is superb! Lim Ji-yeon and Heo Nam-jun are doing an amazing job! I remembered him in the Kdrama "Snow Drop" as the restless student, who couldn't be calm; he was so funny he made me laugh so hard that I couldn't stop laughing... I replayed his scene over and over again.

This drama is exactly what I need right now...relief

I love seeing Lim Ji Yeon on this drama since she’s so annoying in The Glory. The ML, he’s getting criticism right now bcoz maybe his not handsome like Songkang, Cha Eun Woo and others ML but he’s so d*mn hot in here. He’s acting and charisma makes him so attractive. So inlove in this drama. Can’t wait the remaining episodes.

Fast paced, funny, unpredictable and the banter uhgh.. i love it. caught myself laughing out loud with a lot of scenes. it was hilarious and at the same time i caught myself giggling. their chemisty was Off The Charts. looking forward for fri-sat because of this! ugh

Karl May 23 2026 8:38 pm Overall I like this drama very much: There are a lot of funny situations and dialogues, the cast is brilliant and Lim Ji-Yeon is just wonderful! I would like it even more, if Kang Dan-Sim sometimes acted a bit smarter, cleverer and show that she is a strong woman with emotion and intelligence and suprise us with her knowledge and thoughts dating back to the Joseon era as well as all the new things she has impressingly quickly learned about the present world. This fit better to her role-personality and provide the viewer with even more fun and excitement!

Brian V May 08 2026 2:28 pm This title just popped up on my Netflix feed. I don't generally watch KDrama's based on the Joseon era but this looks kinda funny. I'm sure it will have a bunch of the situations where someone from the past is put in a situation where they have to experience something the audience has grown up with. I just hope they put a fresh perspective on those moments. The female leads seems to have a funny cuteness to her, from the trailer anyway. I got a Han Ji-Min, who is my favourite actress, vibe from her, from when she was in Behind Your Touch. I'll definitely put this on my list of shows to watch.
