Kazuko Hosoki (Erika Toda) drops out of high school to escape starvation and poverty in postwar Japan. She begins to work at a hostess club. By her 20's, she has opened successful nightclubs and is called the Queen of Ginza. She then becomes a famous and popular fortune teller by using her skills controlling people's emotions, which she polished by working in entertainment clubs. But, dark rumors follow her.
