Joo In-A (Shin Hae-Sun) works as the head of an audit department at Haemu Group. She is a perfectionist, who never allows compromise when it comes to work. If somebody gets marked by her, that person gets ruthlessly crushed by her. She is professional enough to earn the title of the youngest female executive at Haemu Group. She gets entangled with Noh Ki-Jun (Gong Myung), who she has appointed to deal with internal scandals, and encounters chaos at work. Noh Ki-Jun is smart and good looking. His life goes by smoothly, but Joo In-A's appearance suddenly puts a brake on his smooth life. He is demoted from the elite audit team 1 to the problematic audit team 3. His job is to deal with internal scandals.

Meanwhile, Jeon Jae-Yeol (Kim Jae-Wook) is a third generation heir from a chaebol family that runs Haemu Group. He seems like a perfect guy, but he hides a void behind his elegant appearance. He opts for reality over love to win a precarious race for succession in the Haemu Group. Park A-Jeong (Hong Hwa-Yeon) works as Jeon Jae-Yeol's secretary. She realized that her beautiful appearance can make her life more difficult, so she has kept her guard up. Yet, she begins to have a severe crush for the first time in her life.

Cathy Jun 01 2026 9:39 am This was a good drama. But there was a lack of chemistry between the main leads that would have really enhanced it. It was there in the out takes at the end of the series, but it did not show in the drama. Maybe it was the script.

Oh May 31 2026 11:34 pm When GM and SHS were just coworkers, great chemistry, no problem. As lovers? Very awkward. You have GM trying and actually convinces you he's in love, but SHS doesn't seem to be matching the energy. I absolutely love her, but I'm not one bit convinced she is in love with him. They would look very cute as a brother/sister duo or besties but not lovers. The beginning was promising, I think I start losing interest after episode 6. Doesn't seem to really be going anywhere, which I feel like a lot of dramas these days are kinda getting lost within their plot midway.

Boss-Subordinate Relationship May 31 2026 7:16 pm I watched this Korean drama from start to finish. I was hoping that either Joo In-a or Noh Ki-jun would leave Haemu Group or at least transfer to another team outside of the Audit department. The only thing I don't like about this K-drama is how it tolerates the boss-subordinate relationship. A boss–subordinate romantic relationship is inappropriate in the workplace. Yet Joo In-a and Noh Ki-jun continued their romantic relationship while investigating and exposing others in Public Morals cases, even as they themselves escaped scrutiny for their own misconduct. That double standard is deeply wrong.

Oskar May 31 2026 3:39 pm From episode 10 onwards you feel very clear that the original script was written for 16 episodes, but someine decided to press the remaing story in 3 episodes instead of 6. The result is a story that looses a lot of it potential.

Mia May 25 2026 12:51 am what In Ah said to the secretary, A Jeong is true. In the end, she'll be the one who will suffer the most. It's true Jae Yeol will probably be more stuck with his current situation and his wife, and oh I forgot about the audit on pharma, that's a bad call on the auditors In Ah and even Ki Jun, coz in the latter part he discovered that too right, but it was set aside. and as a career as auditor, that's a bad record. all for someone who's way richer than them, they're all just employees. but O guess they'll survive but the secretary will still probably move on, but it's just po unfortunate, she couldn't handle her emotions, it ate her up.

Mia May 24 2026 1:24 am I can't understand people who say Jae Yeol and In Ah have more chemistry than Ki Jun and In Ah. Don't get me wrong, I like Kim Jae Wook and in the future, if they have a series together, hopefully a non toxic one, I think they'll be able to work it out.

but here, all I see is how pathetic and scary Jae Wook is. If she truly love In Ah, he would just let her go and not enter her life again, knowing how hard it was for her to move on and she's starting a new love with, though Jae Yeol doesn't know Ki Jun personally, just based on work he's a good man and he should just be happy about In Ah.

I was empathizing with the secretary until episode 9. I guess the two second leads, Jae Yeol and the secretary l, A Jeong exhibit the same characteristics, a toxic one.

I guess through the investigation, they'll learn that A Jeong lives with Ki Jun and Ki Jun was with In Ah when it was posted, and Jae Yeol even witnessed that. I'm not sure if they'll let that part out though, but I hope they should, he's the ex that can't let In Ah go.

and as for the company's perspective, someone emotionally erratic like Jae Yeol, though good at his job, is probably not the best candidate for being the president, it make sense that they're doing a co-vp like regardless of whose the lead here.

Poor In A, torn between helping the ex or pursue the man she started to like.

I longed for kim Jae wook and Shin Hae Sun drama but unfortunately KJW was only Second ML.

The story of joo in ah and the VP Jae yeol is stronger and deeper that her love story with ki jun.. All people are talking about is the in ah jae yeol couple, their misterous relationship and their chemistry .

And now after the 7th and 8th episodes are aired the story of those too become more and more touching, a tragic lovestory lost for a pathetic and toxic arranged marriage. In ah loved jae yeol that she was ready to break up with him to protect him and his career and jae yeol lost the only one who loved him the most the only one with whom he felt safe, happy and loved. Losing all that for an arranged toxic marriage full of hate and cheating is sure trumatic for anyone
