In 2026, Makoto Hyakutake (Gaku Hamada) works as a detective. He is nicknamed Mobu-san because of his lackluster presence at the police station. Since losing his beloved girlfriend Misaki Saeki (Anna Ishii) one year ago, his days seem meaningless, while he watches his colleague Takashi Yoshioka (Nobuyuki Suzuki) push forward on the path to success. One day, Makoto Hyakutake is shot while he has cornered a vicious criminal. The next moment, when Makoto Hyakutake wakes up, he finds himself in the year 2016. With his decade of experience, he sets out to protect his girlfriend Misaki Saeki and change their fate.
