Ui-Gang (Jang Hyuk) was once a legendary contract killer, but he now leads a different life. He enjoys peaceful days with his wife. One day, his wife and her friend go on a trip and leave Yoon-Jin (Anne), who is the daughter of his wife's friend, with Ui-Gang. Yoon-Jin is then kidnapped. Ui-Gang must now get Yoon-Jin back safely and punish those responsible for the kidnapping.

tim May 04 2025 10:49 am One of the best action movies I've seen.. Excellent choreography. Jang hyuk was excellent too. Some aspects were a bit different (very welcomed); and the usual tropes were done much better. A bit over-the-top as usual for most films, especially the action genre, but you wont mind. Overall, I need to give this a 10 out of 10.

Kaito Jul 19 2024 3:10 am The action scenes are awesome, the plot is quite simple, but I couldn't believe any parent would let their teenage daughter live alone with their friend's husband for 3 weeks—just 2 of them together—especially when the mum is not even close with the husband and the man and teen are basically strangers to each other, like wtf?!

in any case, the action scenes and Janghyuk made the movie worth watching. the bullies and villains just do the typical try-hard-to-act-cool-and-smirk-like-a-psycho-when-hurting-others style of acting, nothing special or outstanding.

the girl's character is an annoying, lying, shameless, self-centered, entitled brat—another generic portrayal of a "troubled teen" trying to act tough and unbothered but really helpless, weak, and a cause for nuisance to others especially the protagonists. i'm tired of the plot of unlikable characters getting in trouble and people living peacefully and quietly have to go and try to save them—like, i'd rather see that unlikable character die but that would break the heart of the hero, so annoying! the girl really fits the title—she kinda deserves to die. i don't care whether she gets saved or not. her mum left her daughter to have a fun for 3 weeks. i'm all for parents having a relaxing alone time away from the stress of looking after children, but choosing to leave your daughter to a stranger is not a quality of a good mum. even the wife is kinda annoying. you're off to have fun and you force your husband to look after your friend's teenage daughter for 3 weeks? and then you threaten him that if she gets in trouble, he'll be focked? don't you know most teenagers are always in trouble? i dunno..just Janghyuk is surrounded by unlikable characters in this movie.

Ui-Gang Jun 11 2023 5:35 pm Fun Movie, but I agree with 'Beez", it makes no sense that Ui-Gang would be asked to watch the daughter. **SPOILER** The Stepmom knew who he was and picked him to watch the daughter. I didn't understand her answer at the end when he asked why she befriended his wife. Also Jang Hyuk is great, one my favorite actors. He is also amazing in "The Swordsman"

Beez Apr 26 2023 2:02 am @Terrelyn Yvette Thomas - jang hyuk's wife is played by Lee Chae-Young. While she didn't get to show much here, she's an amazing actress. I watched her in one of those lonnng daily dramas - Man in a Veil. She played the baddie - exquisitely nasty.

Beez Apr 26 2023 1:56 am I love Jang Hyuk but the plot makes no sense. SPOILER: Why would the stepmom ask Jang Hyuk to babysit the 17 year-old if she wants to have the girl kidnapped into sex slavery? She could've just left her at home.

But, oh well, at least it's a chance to be see Jang Hyuk in action.
