Do Bae-Man (Ahn Bo-Hyun) became a military prosecutor to find success and wealth. His job is just a means for him to find success and he looks forward to quitting his job as a military prosecutor.

Cha Woo-In (Cho Bo-Ah) comes from a wealthy chaebol family and she works as rookie military prosecutor. She is confident and does not fear powerful people. She has excellent investigation skills for someone her age. Cha Woo-In also became a military prosecutor to seek revenge.

Do Bae-Man & Cha Woo-In begin to work together as they break down evils in the military. During this time, Do Bae-Man grows into a real military prosecutor.

The harsh conditions that the service people were put through against their will are sickening, and I hope they were exaggerations for cinematic effects rather than reality in SK's army. I do have one comment on Noh Hwa-young's acting though in the final episode. Her character may have been written as the worst evil in this series, but she can't act to save her life, I mean literally! She only had one facial expression all throughout the hearing - it was pathetic! The rest of the cast gave their best acting skills and it showed!

Though, IMO, there are some minor plot holes and questions that come up while watching, I'm glad I had it on my list :) I just hope this drama exaggerates excessively and that the reality in S.Korea ('s army) is much less sickening :o

Park Min Mar 07 2024 5:20 pm We've had plenty of prosecutor shows, but now it's set in a military setting—what a revolutionary twist! The drama was alright and had an interesting introduction, but the overarching story was delayed too often, and interest began to plummet. It would have fared better if the side cases weren't so bland and were better interconnected. Even though there were moments of tension and drama but there was something missing that prevented it from being impactful. The characters were a mixed bag, some of them were great while the rest were too annoying to tolerate. While the ending was fine but I wish there was more to it.

in thinking of the secret patriotic society in the series. and the other korean dramas.. and maybe korean culture of this young and old? I just wonder.. why the older generations are so prideful, very obsessed with external image and thirst respect by those who come after them (either younger in age, or lower in rank, etc)..... why does it still exist..

Its like they are so blinded by their own pride and obsessed by their own status that they are losing their bearings on reality and sound judgement... In this series when lee jae sik entering no hwa young's room and immediately assume her son was the one carrying the gun.. bcs he thinks he knows what her son is like due to previous scandals..and even her trying to say "are you not understanding the situation properly?"

and right away he was taken a back by the reply.. im like.. dude get it together.. as an old experienced guy.. out of all people you should know how to judge situations...and here you are getting angry bcs someone lower ranked is replying back to you..and he went on replying he doesnt care who is on whos side but her son is involved.. -_-

I hope that the korean culture moves on from this hierarchical issue . If its going to perpetuate i feel the dynamic of situations in storylines of dramas and series will revolve around this..and its a tiring annoying old issue that needs to be replaced by a better logical and intelligent banter and dynamic..

Normally what we get from thriller drama tend to be messy but this is so well executed. The casts, esp the two leads, have really great chemistry. Well done to everyone involved in this drama. Kermit Apr 30 2022 5:20 am This drama encompasses what I love about kdramas - i.e the plethora of different genres that are intertwined within just 16 episodes! This drama handles serious topics such as corruption, sexual assault and bullying whilst also showcasing character development, friendship and the pursuit of justice. The comedic and romantic aspects of the drama were included in bite size amounts which I thought was just right - sometimes dramas overdo the comedy and romance which can make it cringey.

The only thing I didn’t like and that bothered me a bit was the fact that Do Bae Man never paid for the crimes he did. I know that he changed after meeting Cha Woo In but it seemed very hypocritical to me that he was putting corrupt people in prison whilst he had done a whole load of corrupt things in his past which he never actually publicly owned up to himself. I would have liked to see some more accountability from him in that sense.

The ending also felt very rushed - especially the downfall of No Hwa Young which felt slightly underwhelming as it was done too quickly. However, all in all I definitely enjoyed this drama. I never got bored during it and every episode kept me on my toes. I would definitely recommend this drama if you’re looking for something thrilling, thought provoking and full of action.

Ahn Bo Hyun and Jo Bo Ah's chemistry is no joke even though it's not a romantic drama. I love the way they don't push the cliche romance plot in the middle of the story since the two have more important mission. But the ending is lovely.

Kim Woo Seok should win an award for his role in this drama. His acting is outstanding!

But really.... All actors show great performance too. Props to the casting team and the director and the writer!

My mom wasn't a fan of watching k-drama but now she is because of this drama and Ahn Bo Hyun!! Good to see the culprits deserved what they had to. Definitely this drama is a must to watch! Thank you to everyone who worked hard for this drama!! I can feel that Ahn Bo Hyun and Kim Woo Seok will receive bigger attention because of their acts in the Military Prosecutor Doberman. Good job!

Specially to No Hwa Young she is really scary af! Like waaah heartless woman. I also like to acknowledge the way No Tae Nam acting he is really good. Clap clap! Hello world Apr 21 2022 8:37 am YAY 2 more episodes, can't wait to see how the duo will bring down the evil people i.e. No Hwa-Young, Yong Moon-Goo and Lee Jae-Sik. I think No Tae-Nam has become a better person; we see in episode 15, during the court session when he testified as a witness, he said the truth about the hazing, wanting the truth to be out, and siding with the bully-victim, whom he may have regarded as a friend. He no longers wants to be someone's puppet or shadow; would have taken him a lot of courage to go against his own mother.

I also think that Kang Ha-Joon is not fully on Yong Moon-Goo's side. Though it may not be what it seems now. I don't think he would forsake his friendship with Cha Woo-In, I do think he has his own plans, but just doesn't want to involve Cha Woo-In at the moment.

The 2 main cheracters are well design and cast, 1 one is a smart cunning dirty bad boy prosecuter ( i love his acting, really amuse ) and 1 is a serious commitment tomboy girl with a little sense of humour (sexy eyes) , couldn't be better casts . and story telling is very entertain ,since the main characters have a sense of humour and the investigate is off the rules then the story has more free to tell. I highly reccommend it

soom Mar 31 2022 1:40 pm Bo Hyun not real flashy but commanding physical presence, and cool delivery. Fits character as written. Reminds me of charactor as written for ML in My Mister--understated. Jo Bo-Ah is study in contrasts--tiny, with innocent eyes but talented MI practitioner who throws off unsuspecting foes. You never know how these two are gonna tangle up. Keeps you guessing.

M Mar 28 2022 7:41 am This is like poor man's Lawless Lawyer, same evil woman&her corrupt squad vs children of her victims and Very lacking in charisma/star power. Jo Bo Ah is captivating here, but she can't carry the entire series by herself. The other 4 main/supporting actors and actresses are quite disappointing.

Maybe I shouldn't compare, because Lawless Lawyer had such strong and charismatic casts. Considering it's from the same writer, I had high hopes but Ahn Bo Hyun is so bland and Jo Bo Ah's scenes are by far more interesting/memorable.

I really like Kang Mal Geum as Do Bae Man's aunt though. She's a versatile and talented actress (brilliant in Sell Your Haunted House and Mouse!), I kinda wish she played Noh Hwa Young. Park Jin Woo as Bae Man's superior is also great, his comedic timing and expressions provide refreshing, funny moments that I enjoy a lot.

BoHyun and BoAh truly look like badass characters while the villains are chillingly menacing without having to go over the top with their evilness. Hopefully they can sustain the quality - bec the first 4 eps were AMAZING.

Bite Mar 09 2022 2:43 am Want to remind someone of his past that he burried behind due to ptsd , then tamper with that persons car and flip it while driving and reenact same accident he had been running away all his life to give a new ptsd , awaken previous ptsd and not to mention nearly kill that person. The logic is lost on me oh and not to fprget to casually drop the lines " you will wake up and understand the accident i caused " and saunter away casually as if it was the most noble thing to do.

But i know it is that difficult to build muscle for female let alone for oriental females. Charlize theron and Jennifer garner probably top everyone as the more athletic, well-built actresses today and Lee da-hee. Those three got the broadest awesome shoulders in the industry. Back to the drama, love it so far. Lookin forward.
