Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki Staff ©
Tatsuhiko Shirosaki (Keita Machida) works in the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's First Investigation Division. His partner and good friend is Detective Shinpei Sasazuka (Kotaro Koizumi). One day, Tatsuhiko Shirosaki's wife Keiko suddenly disappears. Shortly after that, his wife's friend, a freelance reporter, is found dead. Tatsuhiko Shirosaki is certain his wife was involved in some kind of incident. The police though terminates the investigation into Keiko's disappearance and Tatsuhiko Shirosaki is removed from the dead reporter's case. Infuriated by the police's response, Tatsuhiko Shirosaki resigns from the police department to find his missing wife. He sets up a private detective office that specializes in missing person cases and assembles a missing person search team. Meanwhile, Shinpei Sasazuka continues his work at the First Investigation Division and provides information to Tatsuhiko Shirosaki.
