A zombie virus suddenly becomes rampant everywhere. Lee Jeung-Hwan (Cho Jung-Seok) is an ordinary single father, raising his daughter Lee Soo-A (Choi Yoo-Ri) alone. Unfortunately, Lee Soo-A gets bitten by a zombie. Lee Jeung-Hwan takes his daughter to his hometown where his mother Kim Bam-Soon (Lee Jung-Eun) lives. He struggles to protect her.

Icenote Mar 08 2026 6:58 am I’d give this movie a solid 5.5 out of 10. It hits the emotional beats very well but that’s about it. The pacing of this movie is really terrible. They cover a lot of ground in just two hours and I feel that isn’t enough to really develop the characters. This would have made more sense if it was a kdrama or something.

What really frustrates me is the completely random ending that came out of nowhere. It was lazy ajnd it felt like the writers shoehorned it in to end the movie on a positive note. The writer needs to trust the audience about what’s happening and show it through actions. Not a character literally explaining in to you.

Decent watch but not repeating

Chris Oct 06 2025 3:21 am Zombie films are not quite my cup of tea and the only reason I watched this one is because of Cho Jung-Seok. I must admit however that it turned out to be a very pleasant film, the plot kept me interested all the time and the acting was superb. There are obvious and hidden messages for all audiences regarding family values and the role of parents. Highly recommended.

This k-movie borrowed concepts and subplots from Train to Busan 2016, Zombie for Sale (aka The Odd Family) 2019 , and the US movies, Warm Bodies - 2013 and World War Z - 2013, mixing these into a totally unique experience for the family...

It's a zombie-comedy-family-melodrama movie sprinkled with a generous amount of slapstick humor in a sci-fi thriller/fantasy, and spiced up with action sequences rolled in with a bit of romance...

Cho Jung-Seok,Choi Yoo-Ri, Lee Jung-Eun, Yoon Kyung-ho and Cho Yeo-Jeong gave justice to their characters and made this movie a realistic movie of what a world with zombies would look like...

I gave it an A in every category... I guess it has all the elements of a zombie movie i truly want... Kudos to the actors, specially Choi Yoo-ri in her First Female Lead role.
