Eun Soo-Hyun (Kim Nam-Joo) is a psychology professor and a famous writer, but her life is completely changed. Her young son dies unjustly. Making things worse, the person responsible for her son’s death isn’t punished by the law. Eun Soo-Hyun loses hope with this world. She decides to punish the person responsible for her son’s death by herself. Her life is still in pain and despair. Somehow, Eun Soo-Hyun gets involved with other people who suffer from similar pain as her and solves their mysterious cases. They slowly get healed in the process.

I’m at the last episode now, and can’t help but come to comment how absolutely cheesy it is for FL to suddenly become a martyr of sorts and get so many people all of sudden to stand in solidarity with her. Utterly ridiculous.

Honestly I haven’t seen dramas lately, but this one is finally in my region and all I can say is that is Absolutely A Masterpiece!! I love everything about it, I’m so proud Eunwoo took part of this drama :) I highly recommend it, the acting of everyone it’s Perfect regardless of what anyone with not sense of the tension and drama can say hehe since Kairos I believe this is my fav drama from this era!

Whoosh Mar 20 2025 2:37 am Ugh. This was disappointing. So many stretched out moments, this could have easily been condensed into 8 episodes. Everyone was so stiff in their acting and no real chemistry between any of the characters. Several of the actors in this are great in other roles but fall flat in this series. The storyline was an overreach. I should have stopped when I thought it was getting bad.

Bae Dec 20 2024 12:34 pm Regardless he was forced or not to take the fall of someone else mistake. Kwon Ji Wong attitude towards the FL on 1st episode didn't seem he was forced at all. He even have the audacity to mock and blame the death kid and his mother. What a scum.... I don't have any sympathy at all with him... He didn't seem oppressed or depressed at all for someone who was forced by others.

Instead of begging them to repent or asking for forgiveness like any decent human being. You must lower your expectation first to stay sane and content with your own life.

Honestly speaking, after watching this Korean Drama, there is nothing wonderful in Wonderful World.

The series consists of pain, losses, vengeance, manipulation, sacrifice and betrayal.

The story began when Eun Soo-Hyun’s, played by Kim Nam-Joo dies unjustly and due to emotional distress took revenge by killing who she seemed to be the killer, Seon-Yul’s father, then later learned there was someone else. Her husband, Kang Soo-Ho played by Kim Kang-Woo is reporter who loves his wife so much put everything on the line in the last part to his wife get justice.

Kwon Seon-Yul played by Cha Eun-Woo has an interesting character in this series. He will do anything to ruin the life of Soo-Hyun by destroying the people whom she loves then later learning that his father was forced to take the fall for some ambitious politician.

This series is a roller-coaster of emotions. Heavy in the chest. The actors were really great.

If you are in Revenge, Political Corruption, Family Drama and Redemption, this one is a good watch.

This one is under-rated because I haven’t reviews on it. I’m rating this Korean drama 9 out 10.

And I think that the title was from a song Wonderful World, it was the background song in the last episode when everything were on place and our lead characters are at peace. Well, they could have created a more appropriate title.

Tuesday Jul 09 2024 11:58 am I watch this drama because of Cha Eun Woo and he is not disappointing. His acting is so good in this drama. He plays his role very well; I can feel the pain and sympathize with him and his situation. Maybe it is true that he needs a challenging role like this to show his acting skills and shine. He actually looks better without much makeup and styling. The FL did a great job as well; it is a hard work for her. All cast did a great job. It is a moving touching story, good cinematography but moving a bit too slow for me.

Portia Morz Jun 06 2024 10:56 am tbh, i watched this because of cha eunwoo. this my first drama of him outside his romance catalogue. i am also not familiar with the FL and his husband but this drama just slaps!!! great acting between the FL, everytime she cries i cant help but bawl my eyes out too. cha eunwoo has improved so much, i dont even think he's a bad actor. he just needed better projects like this. the husband was acting trashy in some episodes but the ending tho when he cried, my heart was hurting for him. great drama!

Satangel May 24 2024 8:44 pm I actually watched it because of cha eunwoo. But going into it, I find the drama very entertaining. A bit slow but the twist and turns gets you thinking and analyzing after every episode and throughout the series, which normally i dont. It reminded me of a thai movie that i watched with some friends and then analzing and debated amongst ourselves for hours after it. This was the same after every episode. For me, It's very different from the other dramas where u watch and just move on the next. And i am one who will wait for all the episodes to be aired before i start watching but just taking a peek on the 1st episode got me sitting on the couch waiting for the next episode to air. So to me, script was good, directing was good, cinematography was good, casts were beautifully casted.

I did forward scenes im sorry.... im choosing important scenes lately.

I just didn't know which one to focus on. Main lead or second lead's revenge it was too confusing. Second lead's hatred towards the main lead wasnt built up well i guess. Is it worth your time? I guess it's ok

I can also say this is the first best drama I've ever seen Cha Eun Woo did. Also thumbs up for the other supporting actors and actresses.

It seemed like reading the story of a novel. You get to cry a lot but it ends happy and that's what is the most satisfying. I highly recommend it. ?

Have seen some of Cha Eun Woo’s drama and without a doubt this is his best one. If he was nominated in baeksang (and I wonder why he isn’t), he got the chance. Kim Nam Joo isn’t the actress you see in at least one kdrama a year that why when she does one, expect that it is a good one. She never disappoints, she is soo good here that’s why I am mad that she wasn’t nominated in baeksang. I hope we won’t wait another 6 years to see her again on our screen.

The emotions shown in this drama could make you think of how right or wrong is revenge. The only flaw of Soohyun is, in he process of grieving, she had totally forgotten her husband. It is practically abandoning him instead of grieving with him.

But like this beautiful and well crafted drama, despite of the greed of other people, despite of the pain inflicted by others, despite of the sufferings due to sickness, the betrayals, poverty, we are gifted with a wonderful world. A world that provides us all the opportunities to make ourselves better, to see the other side of revenge, that we can enjoy life and successes without the expense of others.

Heart wrenching drama and love to see Kim Joon gets the worst punishment and Kang Su Ho is just as evil as Kim Joon. He deserves to get punishment alongside KimJoon. Come on when is the finale episode 14 will be shown.

Star Apr 12 2024 12:26 pm Spoiler for episode 13. This drama is so heartbreaking. Please writer-nim, do not make it sad till the end. In the 1st episode, it's already so sad when we all thought her son died after hit by a car but what now? He was hit by a car then he was kidnapped and then got murdered like that...OMG! I almost cursed out loud and smashed my screen. That just cruel. Soo Hyun did right thing when she ran over Seon-Yul's dad. A heartless kid murderer. I hope the congressman got humiliates in front of media and die in agony. I got so emotional watching this. Glad it ends tomorrow because this is pretty heavy for me. I watched because of Eun Woo and relieved see how excellent he portrays the character along side with these brilliant senior actors, this drama seriously got in me. The ost make it even sadder. Aigoo.

Kim Nam Joo and Kim Kang Woo are both astoundingly excellent that it seemed it has rubbed off on Cha Eun Woo on the later episodes. Cha Eun Woo has improved a lot since his last drama before Wonderful World. Lim Se MI nailed her character here, as well, & a far different character from her drama with Ji Chang Wook as a milutart police officer. She's versatile & here in Wonderful World she's pretty! The Stylist did her job well. ?

In the storyline, Eun Soo-Hyun's love and trust for Han Yu-Ri is betrayed by Han Yu-ri. Han Yu-Ri seduced Eun Seo-Hyun's husband Kang Soo-Ho.

jj Apr 02 2024 7:03 am I like this k-drama but honestly it’s quite pathetic. Eunwoo’s role is. He doesn’t even realise that Soohyun’s struggling and suffering as much as he is. But then again, this drama wouldn’t be good if the storyline isn’t like that. It really shows that Suho’s love for Soohyun is that deep and genuine as well as Yuri’s love towards her eonni. They also both repent on what they have done in the past and what happened between them (SH & YR) is their greatest nightmare.

I know that both of them are so wrong for deceiving Soohyun, however it does show how much Soohyun means to both of them and Suho is willing to do everything he can just to protect Soohyun and so that Soohyun wouldn’t leave him.

Also, it shows that Soohyun truly cares about Yuri even if what she has done was truly wrong. (When she visited her mom)

Seon-Yul, please open your eyes palli palli. You help a bad person and hurt and revenge to a good ones. I really wanna smack his head but boy oh boy, isn't he beautiful? Haha! For real, Eun Woo is so pretty.

And as for me, I really think Eun Woo improve a lot. Don't like him in that dog drama, find it stiff. But really like him in this character. I think he plays it well. I don't think every scenes need to be overacting, so there's few times he doesn't show too much emotion but I still think he delivered it well. His crying scenes also give me the impact, I do feel sad. So yeah, that's my opinion. More characters like this in future so he can always improve. No more like that dog drama. So flat. Alok Mar 30 2024 9:00 am How do they cast actors i don't understand. the one who plays Yu-Ri's mother (Jo Yeon-Hee) is only 10 years older then her and 6 year younger then FL (Kim Nam-Joo) which is weird because as per this drama FL character must be 4-5 years older then Yu-Ri so Yu-Ri's mother is obviously much older then FL.. why they couldn't cast age appropriate actors for it..

Honest commentary, i want eunwoo to end uo thr victor here. First off thr FL lead killed his father savagely in cold-blood, she didnt think of thr family he has. While eunwoos father is at fault, it was an accident, but he wasnt remorseful and got away scott-free but it was still an accident. It is understandable that thr hatred eunwoo has for thr FL lead coz it destroyed his family. FL was selfish and pnly thinking anout herself, even pitying the son of thr fire victim but she didnt think that thr man she murdered also has a family. Hope she gets ehat she deserves. All in all drama is awesome but slow paced. The director enjoys ‘emote’ moments from thr cast where they stare into space for a number of useless minutes.

I think he hired Seon Yeol’s Dad Ji Woong to do the job and Seon Yeol’s Mom Eun Min found out the truth after her husband’s death so Kim Joon planned her accident too. That’s just my theory since people like Kim Joon would do anything for power. If that’s the case then hopefully she wakes up soon and tells her son the truth.

Hopefully, Soo-Hyun will recover her car dashcam recorded Soen-Yul's father's conversation with Soo-Hyun 6 / 7 years ago before Soo-Hyun hit him.

Hopefully, the fire victim Kwon Min-Hyuk will change his lifestyle and help Soo-Hyun uncover the truth behind mysterious cases.

Also making predictions in your head after watching an episode is thrilling, like how I think Soo Ho cheated on Soo Hyun w/ Yuri and not the neighbor lady and how she (Hye Geum) could be the mistress of Kim Joon the congressman. Her child (Hee Jae) being the illegitimate child Soo Ho talked about and all. My predictions may be incorrect cuz maybe I’m getting ahead of myself after all I skip watched it, but I’m so excited to find out what will happen on the upcoming episodes.

Congressman must have bribed Seon-Yul's dad to take the blame and since Seon-Yul have heart problem, his dad might took it to save his son. If it's true, can't he be gentle when Soo Hyun asked him to apologize for killing her son. He was so rude and no mercy. No wonder, Soo Hyun ran over him thinking he has no remorse at all.

And maybe Seon-Yul's mom who got hit and run, it was no accident. Maybe she found out the truth? And congressman ordered someone to kill her?

P/s: Cha Eun Woo is so gorgeous. There, I said it. Haha!

This is one of the kdrama that i never expected such twist. Wow can’t wait for the next episode to air.

Besides, how did he happen to work with Kim Joon? It's because Kim Joon knows his father.

The lead characters were good in acting but pacing could have been made faster and not lingered too long on some scenes. Sorry but I'm not a fan of the overly done cosmeticallly altered, missing nasolabial line and overfilled cheeks of older actresses.I hope they don't pair her with CEW!

I cried so hard from the middle of episode 1 till the end. The actors can actttt. Their facial expressions and crying, everyone evoked in me the emotions caused by the loss of a child when I’m still a teenager. I’m looking forward to more episodes.

And when the Congressman saw a video to him i thought he betrayed her and i even thought that he cheated and that girl is her bff i might be wrong or someone else who discreetly opened the gate and fled when she returns and leave the gate opened. Something is fishy with that neighbor and her kid i think they know something or saw that day of accident?

From the first episode, with its opening scene showing Cha Eunwoo having a stare down with Kim Namjoo and drives his car seemingly towards her, the whole scene was just so impactful, with both their eye-acting and facial expressions carrying the scene to perfection; that it already gripped me and sparked my attachment to this drama. It got a hold on me from the get-go, resulting in wanting to stay and uncover the story and unravel its mystery. The excellence in acting and the fast pace of the story kept me engaged, with much curiosity on how the gripping drama will progress. Veteran actress Kim Namjoo is Queen as expected, with her excellent, amazing drama chops, making the audience feel for her tragedy with shared tears and broken hearts. The 2nd episode came around, and Cha Eunwoo's appearance was again so impactful, with him showing a different side of him as an actor, with his masculine, rough, tough, strong and powerful presence, and even without much lines to deliver, his eye-acting, face/body acting, his aura, can't help but capture his audience's attention. I for one was captivated by Cha Eunwoo, and will surely see this drama through; in fact I can't wait for the next episodes where for sure, the main leads, KNJ and CEW will further grip my interest and my kdrama heart. In a nutshell, Wonderful World is wonderful!

In korean drama My Mister starring IU and late Lee sun kyun didn't raise any eyebrows. Moreover , this drama is not some romance , its more about two unexpected people who have lost all hopes and happiess finding solace in each other's company , irrespective of age and gender. It is journey of these people.

Can't say anything about EunWoo yet because I think we can only see him afterwards. Acting with sunbae who brilliant in acting definitely a good opportunity to improve his acting skill. I hope he will do good in this drama. BTW, I think Soo Ho having an affair with Yoo Ri. That's why both didn't pick up the phone.
