1983: Ji-Hwan (Cho Jung-Seok) is a music teacher and he is soon to wed his girlfriend Yoon-Jung (Lim Soo-Jung). Yoon-Jung becomes involved in a case and Ji-Hwan attempts to protect her.

2015: Detective Gun-Woo (Lee Jin-Uk) and Ji-Hwan happen to see their daily lives through their dreams. Gun-Woo learns about a case that took place in the past from Ji-Hwan. Gun-Woo also meets So-Eun (Lim Soo-Jung) and, together, they go after the case that took place in the past.

Notes

Filming began October 1, 2014 and finished February 1, 2015 in Jongno, Seoul, Korea. The last scene filmed is set in the present day and involves the first time Gun-Woo (Lee Jin-Uk) sees So-Eun (Lim Soo-Jung). They meet during a New Year's Eve celebration. About 200 extras gathered for that scene.
Kwak Dong-Yeon was originally cast to play Kang Seung-Bum, but dropped out of the project and replaced by Lee Tae-Ri.

Gdik Feb 12 2021 9:02 pm Reincarnation, its just that the killer should have reincarnated too. Its fun to see him in prison. The handcuffs though, its hard to get out from it but i guess it wasn't fully tightened. The teacher could have survived but its okay. This movie was heartbreaking. If you love sci fi themed movies, it's a must watch

discover Apr 29 2018 10:12 pm visa, it looked like he slipped his hand free. Painful and difficult but, at least in movies, and especially if you have double jointed thumbs, it's possible. The police only managed to cuff one hand so after he slipped free he was able to open that cuff by resetting it (you can always move the cuff to make it tighter and when you go past the tightest point it opens).

If Gun-woo is Ji-Hwan's reincarnation, then how can the older teacher/detective (Jang), be Ji-Hwan grown older. You have to die to be reincarnated so I missed something big here- please help out.

Apr 01 2017 1:44 pm Just finished and it was hella good damn. i was trying out 5 other movies but all of it was boring. i was just bored, trying to find a show to watch (american and korean) none of those were interesting and then i came upon this. i saw the rating and trailer and it didnt seem that good but how. it was interesting from beginning(1st 5 minutes) to end ugh the suspense and the thriller! I was always at the edge of my seat. the ratings should at least be at a 95!! these actors wouldnt normally make me excited about a film but seriously they were amazing their acting was incredible. don't hesitate to watch it you'll regret passing this by

Wulan May 20 2016 6:53 am Daebak !! That's the only words I can give for this movie. I just finish watching this movie, and I'm so amazed by the story and all the theory in this movie. There are so many twists that make me think hard about he story. It's been a while since I've watch this kind of movie that makes me can't stop to think hard about what actually happen in the story. And every time I found out the truth and understand the movie, the only words that come out from my mouth just "DAEBAK". I'm so speechless and amazed how can a movie be that good that make me to think so hard to understand the whole story? Woah, seriously I really need to watch this kind of movies. And of course, Cho Jung Seok & Lee Jinwook acting are great. And also, the reason I watch this movie is because I want to see both of them. And, this is really worth it for me to watch it :) But, there is one thing that make me shock, that I thought the one who play Kang Seung Beom is B1A4 Jinyoung, my bad I'm too excited with the story that make me confused between Jinyoung and Lee Minho. But for all, the movie was great and also all the actors. You guys did a great job (y)
