Cha Woo-Sol (Kim Min-Suk) is training to become a mixed martial arts fighter after his release from prison. He lives his daily life diligently, despite having the stigma of a criminal record. One day, gang boss Hyun Woo-Yong (Lee Hyun-Wook) appears in front of him. Hyun Woo-Yong is a fighting master and runs a cruel and violent illegal martial arts league for his pleasure. To survive and protect the ones he loves, Cha Woo-Sol goes up against Hyun Woo-Yong.

mewsmews May 17 2025 3:25 pm I just found about this just yesterday and was hyped. I really loved the movie, and even as a stand alone movie, i did revisited many times, as it was that memorable.

So i went to this hyped.......... and disapointed in the end. I have been learning, for some years now, how the channel order episodes and how suddenly they cut off one's projects head. Last 3 episodes you see clearly the sudden problems in production. Only 6 episodes , half minutes each. first 3 episodes have good momentum, until episode 4 that seems at certain point, a teaser trailer for the next episode. The editing is off the charts unbearable on story telling. Apparently, there was a lot A Lot filmed, that did not end in fruituition because of sudden "pull the plug" on the project!

to give you something to think. the USA tv series The Expanse season 6, in which Amazon had the rights, only ordered 6 episodes, and stated it would be the last season. The production, writters and director, had to come up with ways to actually tell the story in a definitive ending...in only 6 episodes. They had to use only the most important aspects, on the story at hand, to make a cohesive ending plot. (the "after shows" the writter and one of the actors did for each episode, they explained all the constraints on 6 episodes to be able to flow the story naturally)

This, clearly happen the same in here. Something went wrong in the production. the filming started in 2022, and it is realeased in 2025.... that says a lot, screams a lot of problems.

The story is straight forward, though i question, why was this not a movie?? the last 2 episodes, turn into crap, when you only see 1 actual fight , hero vs villain, and not really much of his friends. AT many points "oh right... they were also fighting too" last 3 episodes, again, episode 4 looks like a teaser trailer of 20 minutes for the next episode, and the 2 seem directed and edited by a completely other production tea. There is no propper flow , no momentum. In a filmaking aspect, its a chaotic result.

Should you see it? if you liked the movie like me, go for it. But You got the warnings above!!!

Aiy May 15 2025 2:05 pm Just finished Shark 2 and yes Shark 3 pleaseee!!!….this was sooooo good!!!! but why won joon die? …its okey overall just Excellent!… Hmm but why woo yong and do hyun smirk each other at the end, just have something wrong here haha?!
