Park Min Apr 20 2024 8:30 am The main leads were quite good with their performance and dynamic, while the supporting cast were a mixed bag between bad and decent. It's a sitcom so the main selling point would be its comedy. It was interesting initially with a good pace but it didn't last for too long before things started to get repeated while some jokes remained in the bland and quirky territory. Aside from its comedy, there was a little bit of story going on which was brought into the front in its second half. With it, there was a shift into a regular drama tone, and personal relationships became the focus. Also, for some reason they found it necessary to pair multiple people together, they should've wrote more material within its initial theme instead.

KyunYoo Nov 05 2023 7:10 pm Seeing the unique comedy elements of this drama are similar to the drama Pegasus Market (2019), I think the writer or director is the same.. After I researched it, it turned out I was Wrong, and I was surprised that one of the writers was comedian Yoo Byung Jae.. really unexpected.. Even though the characters and comedic are unique, some of the quotes are very good and suitable for the Startup world.

K-Drama Bingo Oct 03 2022 10:00 am Unicorn is a brilliant, absurdist satire of tech startups. With English-only ("CEO Steve") names, the ridiculous product ideas, Kim Young-Ah's deadpan buzzword-laden pretentiousness, industrial espionage and a wee bit of romance, this is an underappreciated gem of a series.

And maybe the best title sequence of any recent K-dramas. U-ni-corn!

Irabell Sep 30 2022 8:44 am I watch this drama without any expectation, coz I just wanna watch Shin Ha Kyun here. But unpredictable, this drama has full of funny joke. I like how the storyline running, and the combination between joke, drama, and love story blend so nice. I think we have to give Shin Ha Kyun great appreciation because his action is marvelous, he can remind me to Mr. Bean although he has different style and different approach.

boo Sep 09 2022 12:15 pm i've just watched 2 episodes of Unicorn and i thoroughly enjoyed it! The first episode is a little shaky as i couldn't get a feel for the show, the tempo and comedy seemed out of sync, at least for me it did, but then went back to watch episode 2 and i loved it. The script is full of wit, sarcasm and irony so if you like that sort of thing, its bloody brilliant. i actually think its very cleverly written and i'm beginning to like each character now as their personalities are beginning to be etched out. i'm not korean so normally the music is neither here nor there for me in kdramas, but i noticed the music is really good and compliments the drama. Anyway, defo give this quirky, clever show a watch.

140 dramas in 2 years Sep 09 2022 12:15 pm This show is a satire, mainly about start-up company. There is an inkling for romance but so far (4eps) the progress is close to none. The first two episodes can be said as failures. The comedy is often cringy tho it feels like written well, so I'd say it's the director's fault who fail to make proper comedic scenes. However ep 3 & 4 is actually funny albeit there still slight awkwardness. All actors did very well though, at least they covered for the terrible attempt at comedy. Hope the upcoming episodes will get better.

dora Sep 01 2022 8:17 am 1st episode is full of awkward scenes, slapstick jokes with flat face, everything feels so weird, all actors tried so hard to be funny, i cant feel any comedy here but i can feel if i continoue watching next episode, it will make me feel angry and feel stupid. Its not an enjoyable drama.

Sentinel Jun 30 2022 10:02 am Agreed with @Tulipaa. Her performance was the best in "Just Between Lovers". Not that she did bad in other dramas, just feels like it was a perfect cast in that drama. Not sure what this drama is about but I just miss Won Jin-ah.

Tulipaa Mar 17 2022 8:08 pm I love this girl so much her acting was mindblowing in "just between lovers" (my favorite drama ever) and her chemistry with Junho was too good to be true <3 Shin ha kyun to me he's literally the god of acting he never fails to prove himself + he is so handsome! His drama "Soul mechanic" and "Beyond evil" are my favorite drama of him. I'm glad they are pairing these two together the age gap doesnt bother me at all they are actors
