Han Geum-Joo (Sooyoung) is a 10-year veteran car mechanic for a top Korean automobile company. She is good at her job and enjoys socializing with people from her work. She enjoys drinking alcohol and considers herself a sensible drinker. One day, she reunites with her first love and friend Seo Ui-Joon (Gong Myung), who has returned to his hometown from Seoul. Seo Ui-Joon worked as a medical specialist at a prestigious university hospital in Seoul, but, for an unknown reason, he has returned to his hometown and begun to work as a director at the public health center. Unlike Han Geum-Joo, Seo Ui-Joon hates alcohol. Meanwhile, Han Geum-Joo gets the dishonor of being labelled an alcoholic and she challenges herself to quit drinking.

Main character's given name of "Geum-Joo" also means to abstain from alcohol.

Jew Apr 29 2026 9:52 pm I watched this drama series this April 2026. Loving the main couple bcoz of their chemistry. I like the plot coz it talks about social issues on habitual drinking. My rating is 8.9/10

Another nice slice of life Jan 17 2026 10:47 am The writing, acting, screenplay, cuteness, humor everything is in such good proportion. The Ml , FL and all the cast are doing such fantastic job. This is so worthwhile watching sooyoung in her splendor. And the guy from hometown cha cha cha, additional fun.

Kristine Sep 23 2025 11:15 am Just watched 2nd episode. It is really contradictory. She is constantly being told she crossed a line but isn’t everyone around her crossing the line? Why does the mom decide her husband and adult kids go dry? Major boundary crossing.

Jillibean Jun 18 2025 7:04 am I finished the drama yesterday and it was excellent! Definitely a drama getting an A+ from me! It gives actual alcoholics hope to heal themselves from the affliction. Very positive and much needed drama for South Korea and I think Sooyoung deserves acting awards for her performance.
