Yeon Si-Eun (Park Ji-Hoon) transfers to Eunjang High School and makes friends with Park Hu-Min (Ryeo Un), Seo Jun-Tae (Choi Min-Young) and Go Hyun-Tak (Lee Min-Jae). But, Yeon Si-Eun must now face an even bigger and more violent called group called Union. Members of the notorious group includes Na Baek-Jin (Bae Na-Ra) and Geum Seong-Je (Lee Jun-Young).

meow May 24 2026 6:32 pm If there is a season 3, I would like Suho to not be in it. Not mentioned or shown. He's been in the show too much and his character is flat, entirely carried by Sieun. Might be CHW's fault with his acting, or the screenwriter, but I don't like the Suho of the show. They should focus on other things. Suho is boring and I was very bored with season 2 because they brought him up all the time. If it wasn't for Sieun, Baku, Gotak, Juntae and Seongje, I wouldn't have liked it at all.

Mia Apr 27 2026 5:23 pm Just like many others in here, I enjoyed season 1 way more than season 2. I couldn’t stop looking at the TV or miss a single scene while watching the first season, but the second one was a bit boring, especially the unnecessary fighting parts, where I found myself looking at my phone more than the show. The friendship with Suho and BS betrayal was so genuine and convincing. I felt every emotion there is to feel, and I cried a river when I thought Suho died. Bako is a fun character but the chemistry between them all felt off and forced. I was hoping Sieun wslat actually take the plane to Singapore and leave everything behind, that’s how bad of a bromance it was. I hope season 3 brings back the old squad.

To sum up, from the writers, scripts, actors up until to the execution- it was really superb!!!

Dorine Mar 23 2026 6:47 am I stumbled across this series quite by chance whilst looking for something to watch on Netflix. I thought, ‘Why not give it a go?’, so I took the plunge and, honestly, I have absolutely no regrets. You quickly grow attached to the characters and the dynamic between them. The first season left me on the edge of my seat, hoping for Su-ho’s return. As for season two, unlike some people, I enjoyed it just as much. We find Si-eun still scarred by past events but finally accepting that he isn’t to blame. I also love the vulnerability brought to the male characters. This aspect of self-reflection and healing touched me, as did the new characters we meet and the relationships they all share. To be honest, I haven’t read the webtoon and don’t think I will, but for me this series is a success and managed to captivate me from start to finish. I really hope there’s a season 3.

Ryunami Jul 04 2025 8:29 am While some says season 2 is boring and Si-eun's new friends are boring, i think Si-eun has learnt his lesson and grown into a friend you can rely on. I'm glad he comes to lend Baku a helping hand and doesnt let another one turning into a 2nd Su-ho. Now that Su-ho has awakened, hopefully he will appear in Season 3. Si-eun is lucky to have good people like Baku and Suho as his friends.

rosie Jun 30 2025 10:31 am It was a lil bit worse than season 1 but whatever. I loved Sieun's character. His friends was okay too I guess but they were a lil bit boring like? Maybe we didn't really see their sides but I think I prefered the trio in season 1. I wished that Youngyi would be there, my fav girl. If she's not gonna be in season 3 (if there will be one) then I'm gonna officialy lose it. Can't really have an opinion if it's better or worse than the webtoon version cuz I didn't read it yet.

suho punch Jun 14 2025 11:15 am If they will make season 3, the two of webtoon writers need come back to write for season 3. Because there is a huge gap quality of story line between season 1 and season 2. In the season 1, the story line is much more tidier, and we could see how the the conflicts continued well with one another. But in season 2, it was really dragging, the main villains back story wasn't that interesting (while in webtoon, he had so much aura and was really interesting) and Sieun's fight scene didn't give the same feeling anymore, even when he decided that he wanted to fight. But I still love the chemistry between the eunjang gang and Seongje character.

Yeruchii May 13 2025 6:17 am Idk what they did with Si-eun here. He was badass at season 1 specially how he always plans ahead during a fight. He utilizes his surroundings for his advantage. He snatches every opening and maximizes each chance he gets. But in here, they made him fight dirty and irrationally. He was always blinded by rage. They should have let him live his legacy in season 1.

I'm also disappointed with how this season was just a jumbled mess of fighting and gang stuff. There was no essense as to why shit happened. Specifically with Baek-jin and Baku. Their history wasn't explained well. I still didn't get why Baek-jin turned out to be a monster or how he ended up being Union's boss or just what his actual beef with Baku. So many plot holes.

But I still hope there's a season 3. They need to redeem Weak Hero and I hope to see Si-eun again with Suho. Baku's boring tbh and so is their group *sigh*.

nata May 10 2025 9:16 pm One thing I really envy of while watching this season is Sieun’s bravery. It’s something not everyone in this world has. Even though he’s not the strongest fighter compared to the other characters in the series, he’ll do anything to stand his ground and fight—for himself, for his peace, and for his friends. It might look easy, but in real life, most people would think twice for their own sake. But Sieun is not like that.

Suz May 09 2025 9:33 pm I can’t believe someone said they hoped for a season 3 with more action. My husband refused to watch after 2 episodes. I watched both seasons, but fast forwarded through the violence. Absolutely no one can take or give that many punches. Even professional boxers wear padded gloves. The violence was too gratuitous. These high school bully dramas make you wonder where the teachers are in Korean schools. All of the characters were good & played their parts really well, but the director, writer, producer or all of them seemed to think the repetitive fighting trumped delving into the characters & the relationships. Too bad for those of us who look for a deeper storyline. Incidentally, in the last fight, Si-Eun was the only one who had a weapon which seemed to me that he was fighting dirty & then it was 2 against 1! Could have been better, but the actors were all great in season 1 & 2.

Zangzang May 09 2025 3:38 pm I have mixed feelings and am really disappointed with how the MC was nerfed this season. He barely uses his high IQ in fights anymore. In the manhwa, MC always wins his battles and hardly ever gets hurt. But in Season 2, he mostly just uses a pen? Bruh... I feel like the director doesn’t really understand the character. It seems like they want to emphasize that the MC is constantly dealing with trauma and ongoing depression. Plus, this series should have at least three seasons because it has so much potential and many characters are still left unexplored.

What I do like about Season 2 is the way it portrays the relationship between Park Hoomin and Na Baek Jin. And how they make fight character Na Baek Jin more realistic compared to the manhwa. Park Hoomin definitely steals the show for me.

hahahaha May 05 2025 10:06 pm just finished both season. both season are great with difference plot and drama. but i got curious about the extra scene after the credit on season 1 which there is a photo of si eun and a tattoo hand with the line "he beat kang woo young". i thought it will continue on season 2 but it doesn't. and the extra scene on season 2 doesn't match with season 1. i really wanna know what the man will do to si eun. hoping for season 3, i do believe it will be more thrill and intense.

noneedyname May 05 2025 12:52 pm what can i say about this adaptation. hmmm its just at the top of my tounge. i think hmmmmm…… It Sucks, where the hell the fight scene that was in the webtoon? mok ha duo were in this but no jimmy bae? no jake ji? dean kwan? forrest lee? even kingsly kwan was not in this. he was with donald na since the start of the gang but no. the director done it in his own way. well it is suck but i kinda like the originality if the director didn’t sell weak hero name.

But we also waited for Su-Ho (Choii hyun wook) wake up from the coma, I think the ending is a little blunt we are expecting more from the season 2 since Su-Ho is finally awake. We wish for the Season 3 now that Su-Ho is back and also we need answer why Beom-seok is his trauma please

jie May 04 2025 5:01 pm yall have to understand, we can clearly see how traumatised sieun was. how he blamed himself for what happened to suho and bumseok. and he was still effected by the fact that he beat so many people almost to death when everything he wanted was just a peace for himself and his friends. he couldnt sleep because of that. he didnt want the same thing happen to his new friends. and he also wanted to respect his mom for being worried. and that was what lead sieun to be less crazy. he told gotak a few times about his no intention on fighting. well, if im not mistaken, sieun could fight because of his smart strategy by using any thing in his surrounding including his pen. there were still many scenes of him fighting as well as him using his strategy to win. but i believed he didnt even want to fight cuz "suho im fighting again". that dialog show it all. and the texts he sent to whoever as like a diary, sounds like hes tired of fighting

I felt like I am watching School 2025 because of cinematography and hidden censor.

Where is blood and injuries!

Every character was so caricatured. I didn't feel tentation in fighting scene as well because I know no one is gonna hurt.

and most of the time I felt like I am about to reading a bl fanfic. I can definetly say that whole dynamics of show and friendship based on bl tension.

Yeah lastly, again I fel dissappointed and betrayed by netflix. They made it softdrama...

They said it would be an adaptation, so I expected at least 70-80% of the webtoon to be in the drama, but it feels more like 20-30%. As a webtoon reader, of course I have high expectation. Anw, Once again, great job everyone especially Lee Jun-young as Geum Seongjae. He really portrays psychopath Seongjae well. Great job!

Love May 01 2025 10:54 am I remember the time season 1 released, I was in dilemma to watch or not. I'm not a fan of bullies stories because it usually disturbing. But I still watch it because I'm a fan of Ji Hoon. I didn't aspect that I'm gonna love it so much. Why? Because he fought back! Because he refused to be a victim of bullying.

He's not strong like Hu Min or a fighter like Su Ho. But he's fast, he's smart & he can take punches. He terrified when he become a target but he still stood up for his friends and himself.

And since he knows he can't win a fight if he plays fair but again all the bullies are twice bigger than him already made it's unfair fight. He reminds me to Jackie Chan's old movies where Jackie always use everything that he can grab when he fight his bigger rival.

Overall, I love this season too as much I love season 1. And extremely happy that this season,no friend back stabbed them.

I'm really looking forward for season 3 and how wonderful it is if Su Ho can join the new friends fighting their new enemy.

Hana Kimi Apr 30 2025 2:36 pm Why i think that Si Eun fighting style is not fair. Yes, i know he is weak hero and use his brain n sharp weapon to fight. But, he is really fortunate that seong jae or baek jin not do revenge to him after attack them by using weapon even though they didn't use that. I thought sieun fighting style have some improvement or have some changes. The plot hole and repeating story and character storyline also make me disappointed. Baku shouting also cringe and i feel like watch some Japanese action series like crows zero or something. Maybe they take that japanese series as inspiration. Overall this good but not give the same impact like season 1.

lovelyhyunwook Apr 29 2025 8:26 pm Weak Hero is the best kdrama I watched in my opinion. The actors did amazing and the plot was interesting. Especially Park Jihoon and Junyoung, both of these two were really impressive imo. I like how Junyoung really portrayed Seong-je, with that evil chuckle, just wonderful! I cried tears of joy when I saw Suho, I'm glad he woke up in the end. I also really like Ryeo un's role (Baku), his personality is similar to Suho. Choi Hyun-wook and Ryeo Un also worked together in Twinkling Watermelon! It makes me happy when actors who previously worked together act in another series together. I also have to mention Choi Min-young, he was wonderful too!! No amount of words can express how much I love this kdrama, it's amazing!

Grey Yeon Apr 29 2025 3:57 am Honestly quite disappointed with how the stories goes, a i had big expection since S1 such a banger with good stories, brutal and emotional.. but this season 2 felt so rush and so out of place.. the script are cringe, stories are messy, and si eun is weak compared to S1 and in manhwa, the si eun look like spoiled kid in S2.. this season its just flashy action with cringe lord script..

Idk how they make such a good drama in S1 but messed up badly in S2

xoxo Apr 29 2025 1:25 am To kdrama_fan and others who commented that Si-Eun is weak, did you watch season 1? Of course he is not good in fighting. He's an aloof student who only focuses on academics. It's just unfortunate that he was involved in school violence. You should know that his character is "physically weak". The title is "Weak Hero" and not Strong Hero. He is not really good in fighting physically so he uses his brain to win against his opponents. That's why there are other characters who are better fighters than him, like Suho in S1 & Baku in S2. So stop complaining that he is weak lol!

Weirdo Hero Apr 28 2025 9:35 pm Alliance are so damn weak. Baek-Jin make promises to not touch Su-ho if Si-eun not getting involved with Baku... But next episode he just saving his friend and get into fight with Seong-je,, which from alliance.. But why they didn't do anything to Suho.. They are weak school gang, all they do is stealing stuff and make chaos at Baku's dad restaurant. That's it.. They barely have control with authority. They only fight anyone around Baku.. Eunjang has its own problem of bullying, and none of them is part of alliance. So weak vs weak it seems.

Umibozou Apr 28 2025 2:13 pm It's hard not to compare the acting skills and how perfectly Choi Hyun Wook (Su Ho from Weak Hero Class 1) would have fit the role of Baku.

Ryeo Un, who plays Baku, doesn't quite have the strong presence needed for the character. I think someone like Choi Hyun Wook, who naturally carries a stronger presence, would have been a better fit. I find Ryeo Un's portrayal — trying to seem both friendly and strong — a bit cringey, unfortunately. I used to love him in Twinkling Watermelon, but I don't think Baku is the right role for him. He just lacks the stage presence that Baku demands.

I really miss Su Ho. :(

The 2nd season is great as well but not as good as the 1st one but I will still wait for the upcoming Season (Hopefully).

They teased Donald in post credit s1 but here s2 he nowhere close to the actual Donald other than being hella strong. This is pretty much somewhat a redo plot from s1 just with different characters. Baku=Si Eun who feel guilty, Gotak=the Suho who recovered from his injuries, Juntae=Beom seok that never betray his friends, Baek jin also another copy of Beom seok just that he stronger,Merging Wolf with Kingsley, cutting off so many good characters n actual good storylines from webtoon. Why Butchered S2 Story When You Willing To Go For A S3??? Now what s3 with Suho? I guess they atleast satisfied the kdrama only fans by bringing him back in story but disregard the webtoon fans by changing the storyline n characters that supposed to exists in this s2.

Eunjang President Choi Hyo-Man Apr 28 2025 3:41 am (Maybe Spoiler) Stupid alliance. If they just help Baek-Jin (not just watching) it would be the win for the alliance. I mean all of them have the power, not like Eun-jang school which half of them are bully victim which is weak as f*. The one doing bullying here is Si-Eun and Park-Hu! They are doing 1 vs 2 which is ain't fair at all. Si-eun also bringing his tool out of nowhere. However title is title, literally weak heroes doing their job. But for me it ain't giving any of the euphoria of Class 1. Fighting move are predictable, Si-eun doing multiple punch using sharp tool and that's all. Zero defense as always but his stamina are maxxed like he was golem or something. Also Baek Jin maintain his pretty face meanwhile get punched by Si-eun.. I mean.. he used a goddam BRASS KNUCKLE... The scratch are so pretty and there's only some bruises here and there.. C'mon, I espect some gore stuff like his eye getting bleed because of the knuckle. Anyways, I hope the recovery of Baek-Jin. He made hundred millions of won per-month, he should be the new generation chaebol after graduating and helping the economy of South Korea. If the economy of South Korea recover the police officier will do better job to fix the school gang. More funding on education would translate into better regulated school environment so theres no Eunjang anymore. Better economy would translate to better mental health which would prevent the Class 1 guy whose bully suddently become a villain! I'm talking long term you know what I mean.

Michelle Apr 27 2025 5:51 pm Class 2 was really good. My favorite is Class 1, however. It ends well, which was a surprise. Of course Park Ji-Hoon did a fantastic job and the characters in Class 2 were all great. I just prefer Class 1, I think because I was learning the character. There are a couple of surprise characters, which was a delight, for sure. All in all, it's a great show and I highly recommend it (after watching Class 1, of course.)

Irril Apr 27 2025 3:15 am Season 2 was kind of disappointing. I was really hoping to see Si Eun shine as Eunjang’s White Mamba, but he felt weaker in this season. I was also looking forward to seeing Teddy and Gerard, but sadly, they didn’t appear. Besides that, the story felt a bit off compared to the manhwa. 6/10

I think this season got inspired from some anime like tokyo revenger windbreaker , why dont just use the ori story from the manga itself ? This season feels it is very a new story unlike class 1, but also still good

An237 Apr 26 2025 2:27 pm As a webtoon reader, I'd rate it 6/10. Meh, it's still watchable. The only actors who truly did justice to the manhwa/webtoon were the ones playing Humin and Seong Je. Baek Ji Na didn’t look powerful or intimidating enough. The actor who played Sieun did a great job, but the poor writing made his character feel weak — in the main storyline, Sieun was much more brutal than he is here.

Jumbo233332 Apr 26 2025 2:18 pm The manhwa's story ended this season, and I'm not sure if they'll make a sequel. If they do make a sequel to season 3, I hope they provide a more satisfying ending. One thing I didn't like about the original webtoon was how vague the ending was. I also noticed that the original comic writer wasn't involved in season 2, which I think is why this season feels a bit lacking compared to season 1.

Park Jihoon, as always, was excellent and touched my heart with his performance. Ryeoun is really good at making me cry, ever since Twinkling Watermelon. Minjae, Minyeong, and the others are all very talented, and I hope to see them in more shows.

the story starting from chapter 1, but trying to approach the viewers with different point of view of character.. The story completely mess, super mess, they nerf the Sieun brutality, they deleted how Sieun make a scene whete he humiliated his opponent in fight.

They deleted gerrard jin character as well, which is important member of the gang. they rushed everything to make as if they are close friend with long history, but the chemistry is not there..

I expect alot from this thats why i really disappointed, also baek jinna appear to much and easily we see him go to school and else lol let him see fight like boss but doesnt make him mighty, in manhwa baek jinna is not someonr who can easily meet anyone. He also looks really like gangster, with tatoo both of his hand, colored hair . Baek jinna didnt get his aura or as charismatic leader we had in manhwa.

Also Sieun should have brutality his enemy in last fight not like accidentally win and the last event should have happen to Baek jinna to someone else.

This is so messed up compared to s1, even if you try to forget manhwa and think ss if its original one, the story still mess. The S1 is really intense and make you cheering so much for Sieun, but that something that this season lose. Also too much unnecessary drama from half to end make it harder to finish.

Im being generous, 6/10.

I didn’t read the webtoon so I’m not sure how much of the source material was used, but I felt like there were a lot more finer details that could’ve sold this story. First, every student but Sieun and Jun Tae looked like college students. Like at least try to hide the 5:00 shadow. Second, the over the top bullies; like I get the show is based off a webtoon, but the villains were overly dramatic. And what’s with the constant smoking and “shibal”, are there no other ways to portray a bully?? Third, I didn’t really feel the chemistry between Baku and the rest of the cast or even with Baek Jin. The only good things about this season were seeing Jihoon’s subtle but effective performance as Sieun (I’m so glad to see Sieun smile twice this season) and his fight scenes. I like that his fight scenes aren’t pretty, I like that they’re more messy and emotional

They want to focus this season on Baku and Baekjin's friendship but it's all so vague I can't bring myself to be interested in their past story.

This season is so different from season one, they tried to keep the same theme and friendship as season one, but they added so many unnecessary drama and too many added characters, none of the characters in this season except Baku sticks to me, everyone else, is just there as a support character. I really liked season one because of the trio's friendship and how it all fell apart.

Deji Apr 25 2025 5:27 pm Binged the second season in 5 hours, starting off with the premise that I'm a webtoon reader, I had high expectations for this season and I was utterly disappointed and frustrated. This season has more flaws than it has good things going on. The pacing is way too fast, a lot of important characters, who had interesting backstories and were heavily developed, were cut from the main cast, the main cast itself is ok but boy, did they do a terrible job with Sieun; in the source material, even though he's weak and frail, he still kicks bullies' asses through his brains but in the drama, he's just a punching bag who can only stare at you with mad eyes but can't really back it up. The main villain, Najin, should've been a terrifying, tattoo-filled and calculating monster who caused fear in everyone he encountered but in the drama, he's Baku's childhood buddy who turned into a glorified and underwhelming bully. Baku or Ben Park, is one of the few characters who was done justice (sorta), but his subplot of joining the Union and him and Najin being buddies isn't canonical, also, he originally is a clumsy fighter whose raw strength and power make him dangerous but in the drama, he's good at fighting for no reason. Hyuntak is supposed to be a Taekwondo pro (not canonical) but he gets his ass kicked by everyone. And regarding the bullies, Seongje was the only good rappresentation, even though, he's not fit to be a main villain, while the rest like the Mokha duo are just underwhelming fodder. Tbf, they kept the main plot points like Suho waking up and Najin dying but overall, I'm pretty confident in saying this will probably turn like the Sweet Home drama, a rushed mess that diverts too much from the source material and creates a story that is just too different to be considered an "adaptation". 6/10 for me, wouldn't recommend

But nothing about this season made me feel the way season one did although it was changed too. it is so different from the actual story, yeah i know it’s an adaptation but this much change should not be allowed. Gray never got into coma, ben park never joined the union, not to mention how genard did did not appear on the show he was one of the mains, gray did study about the fighting tricks in the webtoon he was a bummer in the show another thing that made me so mad, god how about donald na? That man there is not him he is a scaredy-cat while the Donald in the webtoon everyone was scared by. The only people who truly a little satisfied my soul was wolf and eugene. Overall so disappointing they had three years and that’s all they could come out with, i feel like i truly wasted time waiting on this season and should have just reread the webtoon.

His character is so cool, his eyes tell the story, but Lee Jun Young as Seong Je , acting the bad guy , was spot on . Hoping for S3 because the story has an open ending I think SuHo as MMA fighter, comes back and fights Seong Je But overal it was S2 good

Nat Apr 25 2025 10:20 am I've finished the webtoon, honestly it feels extremely rushed like a bunch of the plot mixed together for example the characters. Go hyun tak is basically gogo and gerard mixed together(best friends with ben and does Taekwondo but suffered and injury) Big ben was written decently but not great border line good. Donald is literally gogo if the had Gray's intellect and turned to the dark side. Eugene stayed true to the original. Now gray, he's literally just swinging a ballpen around. Gray is literally written as if he had Eugene's body and wolf's fighting style.

Everything felt rushed and had no clear conclusion, they basically left it at a cross road since the ending of the manhwa was donald dying they ended it there too but left the possibility of a season 3 if it doesn't flop.

They even left out some of the best characters like teddy, gerard, and jake. They made it playing safe rushing but sacrificing quality, and ending at a point for a possible s3 when it clearly doesn't.

I love wolf and all but the dude is not a good main villain.

Choi Hyoman even just a side character compare to Kim Pilyoung. I know this is an adaptation, and lots of manhwa episodes cannot be within 8 drama episodes, but i really think the OG crew really needs to be there and OG story being not too far from the webtoon. Other adaptation like Study Group doing better (sorry not sorry for comparing)

In Season 2, they tried to make the story as compact as possible, which, for me, made it feel rushed. The chemistry between the characters doesn’t feel fully developed yet. If it had been a typical 16-episode K-drama, maybe they could’ve portrayed the story better. Even compared to the first season, this one feels lacking—even though the Season 1 storyline isn’t even part of the Webtoon's main plot. I'd rate it a 6/10.

The first season sorrounding suho was actually just a flashback in the webtoon (i actually got a bit dissapointed they didn't continue the following main story in the 1st season since i expected to see sieun's gang in his new high school).

That being said, this season will focus on the conflict between sieun's gang and the union. If they are true to the story, you will love humin even more than suho (and sieun's new friends).

Suho won't back because it follows the webtoon story. Suho story in webtoon even its just a flashback of Sieun. The main story of weak hero is the season 2.. and Suho Will Not Join This Team since Sieun is an exchange student in Eunjang High School.

So they didnt include Suho on season 2 is because the webtoon itself there is no suho in Eunjang High School.

Please read the webtoon before complaining.

I had mentally prepared myself a long time ago, since reading the webtoon, because Suho was just a part of Si-eun's backstory and trauma. The main story didn't have much to do with him. And that's also why I love Weak Hero Class One so much, they expanded on the few chapters of Backstory and gave us a more lovable and amazing Suho <3 I really hope the good writing continues!! Kudos to the director, writer and all actors of this series. I just know the drama is going to be much much better than the webtoon.

Suho (Choi Hyunwook’s character) will wake up from his coma in the last chapters of the webtoon (there’s almost 300 chapters if I am not wrong) So season 2 and 3 will focus on SiEun’s adventures and they will maybe show HyunWook 1-2 times but in his vegetative state.

Toka Mar 26 2024 11:59 am To the people asking why ahn su-ho is not in the series, reason being in the story he did not play an active role, he played a big role si-eun's development but he is not part of the main story. He's more like si-eun's reason to fight/protect.

Su-ho will appear again that's for sure, but it is til the very end of the story(if they decide to follow the webtoon, which I'm pretty sure they won't fully)

Jax Mar 20 2024 7:54 am For those who are still asking why Choi Hyun-wook and his role, An Soo-ho, are not in Season 2, it's because Season 1 only tells Si-eun's past, the real main story takes place in Season 2 and in the main story in the webtoon there is no Soo-ho because he was told to just disappear without news.
