A successful and confident woman (Han Ji-Min) is the CEO of a head-hunting company. To survive in the fiercely competitive headhunting field, she puts everything she has into her work. Outside of her job, she doesn't know how to do anything. She has a secretary (Lee Jun-Hyuk) who takes care of pretty much everything for her. Unlike his boss, the secretary is friendly, well-mannered, and considerate of other people. He is a single father, who is also good at parenting and housework.

Lily Dec 01 2025 4:56 am I love this sweet mild drama. A simple storyline. But of course there is no perfect man like the ML in this whole wide world lol.

I have no doubts with Ji Min capabilities to execute her role. Jun Hyuk is omg so handsome though sometimes you can see his awkwardness in romantic roles like this one. I prefer him in action roles.

Overall the drama is fun and nice to watch with some funny scenes.

JP Oct 21 2025 2:06 pm It was awkward and cringe to cast Kim Do Hoon opposite Han Ji-min as someone who wants to date her. He was bold in his pursuit of her, is quite a bit younger and it shows. I could understand him having a crush on her, but he was vocal about it and acted like she should care about him as well. It was a bit silly and uncomfortable.

elliemae207 Jun 24 2025 5:43 am I was only browsing when I started watching this show. I like both leads so I thought it wouldn't be a bad idea! And I'm glad that I watched this easy going, non-combatant, feel-good (most of the time!) series. And because I wasn't in the mood to give not even a second to the villainous folks, being on a streaming platform has the advantage of fast-forwarding through unpleasant - I-don't-care for it - scenes with the bad guys! LOL :D

I give this show two thumbs up for a pleasant watch experience! I won't be surprised if I rewatch some of the good scenes and episodes in the future! ;-)

yu daddy Jun 15 2025 8:59 am i just finished watching this very smooth kdrama. i really really really like eun ho’s character in here because he’s very understanding and mature in solving conflicts and facing problems especially when the truth about the boy who ji yun’s father saved from 25 years ag incident i guess. i think this drama doesn’t give me a cringe feeling hahah. maybe bcause of the legend cast that i know so i guess the acting skills not a big problem for them since this drama was just about romance rather than action or thriller story. so for the kdrama lovers out there, please watch love scout immediately and feel the excitement that i already get from this drama. 10/10!

Unlike many other K-dramas and many K-traumas, the narrative is free from melodramatic excesses—much less pathos—warmly handling and balancing the depicted moments of everyday life/history, work, and personal relationships. This is a substantive difference: It does not force dramatic elements by trying to overly affect the viewer's emotions.

Another important consideration to highlight is that in current South Korean cinema, it presents one of the best correspondences between the two main actors, achieving a joint performance of extraordinary sensitivity and strength. This is similar to Crash Landing of You (2019), of course with the appropriate differences.

Jillibean Feb 15 2025 8:24 am I really enjoyed this drama though I admit I did get a little bored at times but kept with it. The two main stars had nice growing chemistry together. I like when a main couple's chemistry is developed slowly and not "instalove". In some ways it reminded me of a beautiful short drama from 2022 called Fanletter, Please. Workaholic successful female falling for Single Dad with young daughter. If you loved Love Scout then do check out Fanletter, Please, also on the same site. :) At only four episodes you could finish it in one evening.

If she was really involved, of course she would have fled with his gang because she knew the victims would chase her right?! But when I imagine myself in the victim's position, I would probably do the same thing, but not as harshly as them, crying and struggling.

Everything about, cast, story, acting and the vibe of the whole drama is very refreshing, fun and touching to watch. The lead couple has so much chemistry on them, both for sure deserves a lot of recognition, awards soon. This is Daebakk best of this year that I watched on Netflix.

Lee Junhyuk looks so handsome here, not to mention that his character is the perfect kind of man that most women will love: handsome, kind, nurturing, taking care of the child well, cooking well, doing the house chores well, while being financially stable. (Somewhat too good to be true, but still more realistic than the typical crazy rich men in k-dramas.) The story is light, perfect for relaxing at the weekend. I also like how the story is directed because it succeeded in making my heart flutter too. Good job, mr. director!

JKIU Jan 28 2025 9:55 pm A love story that is heart-fluttering, set in an office where bosses handle their employees. It also explores the relationship between a boss and an employee—how love can sometimes happen between them, as long as they are not hurting anyone.

Additionally, the story highlights the love of a father for his child. Plus, the actor is handsome, the actress is beautiful, and both are excellent in acting. Can't wait for the next episode. Watching in Netflix. All characters are great.

That was directing gold the way they slowly revealed that adorable face! OMG! I tear up and my heart swells each time. That scene lives rent-free in my mind as truly one of the best scenes in a movie or tv show. OMG!!!!!!

Un modeste admirateur Jan 26 2025 9:39 pm I want to comment on a scene from ep. 7 of «Love Scout» that aired recently. Kang Ji-Yun and Yu Eun-Ho are sitting next to each other at a piano concert. They say absolutely nothing as if we're watching a silent film, and only the burst of the piano notes accompanies the burst of their own emotions as they feel each other's presence. It is a breathless scene. It lasts minutes, which feel like centuries. It highlights two unmatched qualities that «Love Scout» has, in my opinion: One is a remarkable mastery of silence and body language, on par with dialog, which is partly the director's merit. And the other is an oozing «skin-level» sensuality, which is fully actress Han Ji-Min and actor Lee Jun-Hyuk's merit. Both qualities combined make «Love Scout» my favourite drama in this winter 2024-2025.

Jojo Jan 24 2025 7:10 pm Lord have mercy, at the end of episode 7, they Finally hug and kiss, ish...I almost jumped into my screen to ask them to do it already. That was 4 episodes of watching them stealing glances at each other, back and forth giving me whiplash, who writes these scenes!? Lol... this does not have the love tension and drama like WTPR, or the supporting cast, nowhere near like it. I like the 2 main actors, it's a predictable love story, it's entertaining, but no wow factor.

I didn't particularly appreciate the kiss.. it was so... not romantic .... awkward would be the best but I loved the tension between FL and ML in this episode prior to the kiss.. I felt it ... all the awkward.. all the longing and the drifting.... nicely done... the focus on the hands ! maybe thats why I was expecting a kiss that was filled with longing ! i like this drama. Can't wait for tomorrow

Darey Jan 23 2025 8:49 pm maybe it's just me, but I feel like this drama has a lot of cringe scenes. especially when the scenes are comedic or happy. also when telling their children. the scenes were added too forcefully which ended up not looking natural.

for example, when yu eun-ho interacts with his daughter, like should I react with happiness or melting? ah, it's hard to explain. I've watched a lot of romance dramas and sbs productions, but I don't feel as cringe as this. the story and each scene are not natural.

Anyway, Jimin always has good dramas, so that's a given. But for Junhyuk who I have only seen in other genres, this is a new side for me. Jimin mentioned that before they were cast, a friend of hers sent her a fanmade edit of her and Junhyuk from two different dramas edited to make it look like one. That edit alone oozed chemistry tbh. So she was also glad to have received the news that she would be acting with Junhyuk.

Saltbread Jan 15 2025 1:10 am omgggg I watched this drama with low expectations as I am not a fan of romance genre but Love Scout is different it’s a genre on its own!! okay the pairing of Han ji min and Lee jun hyuk is genius pretty strong ceo and handsome kind secretary… they are made for each other… their chemistry on screen (and off screen if u watched whenever possible ;) is so perfect they compliment each other so well that i felt like third wheel through the screen.. not to mention the writing and story is so simple yet so satisfying and healing to watch, 2 mature adults middle aged romance really hits differently. The flow is good and cinematography is so pretty! Really a piece of art <3 deserved ~~~

Instead, you'll find down-to-earth, yet profoundly meaningful, everyday scenes between a man and a woman. At times, it's just a gaze they exchange; at others, it's a hand gesture to fix each other's shirt. Words here are not even required for them to express their blooming love.

Hihihello Jan 05 2025 10:47 am @ME Joonhyuk has gotten his lead roles in 2 dramas back in 2020 (365: Repeat the Year) and 2021 (Dark Hole). Both dramas were very underrated but they're so good! If you like Joonhyuk, you should watch those 2 dramas ^^

Ofc I was also already sold just bc it is LJH! Waiting for new episodes is usually hell, but me not having time these days to just binge a series anyway justifies starting this ongoing series now lmao

Inmo Jan 03 2025 7:58 pm Ffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. I can't decide if I regret so much for not waiting to marathon all eps or that I watch this now and puking rainbow over it. Only the first ep and I'm sold! I've missed Han Ji-min in a romcom and this drama looks like it's written so well. There's no romance yet as it's only the first ep but for some reason the two leads already make me ship them so much. If you haven't watch this, just hold it until all eps are released or you'll suffer in agony waiting for the new episodes like me.
