Im Kyu-Nam (Lee Je-Hoon) is a North Korean soldier. He dreams of starting a new life in South Korea. To accomplish his dream, he must flee his home country and cross the DMZ. Meanwhile, Officer Ri Hyun-Sang (Koo Kyo-Hwan) of the State Security Department of North Korea chases after Im Kyu-Nam.

KST Sep 15 2024 8:22 am What an entertaining movie. I really overjoyed. Lee je hoon and Koo kyo hwan's acting is really amazing. Song kang too was seen hehe.This has an Amazing storyline. I will recommend this to all kdrama lovers too.

Aonyma Sep 14 2024 12:18 pm To those wondering about the major and Song Kang's character, here's what I read. Their past sounded queer (I am not a fan of BL but their relationship got me rooting for a romantic one) but the director of the movie originally intended Song Kang's character to be a female. It seemed more interesting to put in a guy instead. There was also no intention of queerness and Song Kang's character was put there only to remind the major of his "innermost feelings and desire" which is to play the piano, instead of being a soldier. It was the phone call from Woo Min and his expression as he watched the major play the piano on stage that gave the unintentional BL vibes. The director said, it's up for the audience to give a filler story so he left the relationship there as a cliff hanger. Sooo....there.

I have a question though, Im wondering what JeHoon and Kyo-Hwan's relationship in the past. It got me thinking that they had an intimate relationship because Kyo-Hwan had a relationship with Song Kang.

Anyways! All in all, I love the movie! I enjoyed the cast, the story, EVERYTHING! Congratulations on a very good movie! Love you 제훈오빠 <3 <3 <3

julia Jul 07 2024 4:37 pm In an interview, Jehoon shared that he was so confident in this movie, he'd pay viewers who went to the cinema if they were not entertained. After watching it, I now understand why he was so passionate about this film. The casting, the production, and the writing was so well done and thought out. I was on the edge of my seat (I laughed, I almost cried, and I definitely gasped a couple of times.) If you have a chance to watch it on the big screen, you definitely should!!
