The weather there in the Philippines sounds a lot like here in New Orleans. In August you don't want to go outside or what's worse -- getting into your parked car in the afternoon. I can't speak Nihongo and not even sure if I have heard the language before! I had a friend from the Philippines in middle school but his family seemed to speak English.
