Veteran detective Kim Taek-Rok ([[Lee Sung-Min (1968)|Lee Sung-Min]]) quietly returns to the Geumo Police Station and accepts his transfer to the Women and Juvenile Affairs at the Geumo Police Station. He tries to keep his head down and not attract attention. Nevertheless, Yeon Ju-Hyun ([[Kim Shin-Rok]]), who leads the department, carefully watches over Kim Taek-Rok.

Meanwhile, Assemblyman Lee Young-Ho's ([[Joo Jin-Mo (1958)|Joo Jin-Mo]]) runs for re-election and his grip on power in Geumo seems certain. He identifies Choi Do-Hyung ([[Jung Jin-Young]]) as an opponent, who runs the Youngseo Welfare Foundation and has the support of an opposing candidate. A string of burglary cases takes place.

Kim Taek-Rok begins his final counterattack to uncover and take out his nemesis "Friend."
