He is poor and lives with son Ji-Hyuk ([[Kim Hye-Seong]]). An accident has caused Ji-Hyuk to become disabled and wheelchair bound. He has also lost his will to live. Sung-Kil is forced to work at a large scale funeral service company because of his poor financial situation. One day, Eun-Sook ([[Eugene]]) and her daughter No-Eul ([[Jang Jae-Hee (2010)|Jang Jae-Hee]]) move in to an apartment next door to Sung-Kil and Ji-Hyuk. Eun-Sook and her daughter No-Eul are bright and warm hearted. They become involved in the lives of Sung-Kil and Ji-Hyuk.
